About: I’ve spent most of my life caring for dogs and have personally trained five dogs with different personalities, needs, and learning styles. Over the years, dogs have been much more than pets to me, they have been members of my family. That experience has given me a deep appreciation for how differently every dog communicates, learns, plays, relaxes, and builds trust. I’m especially passionate about canine behavior and body language. I pay close attention to the small signals dogs use to communicate how they’re feeling, whether they are excited, nervous, overstimulated, curious, playful, or simply in need of some quiet time. I believe good pet care starts with understanding the individual dog rather than expecting every dog to respond the same way. While I am not a certified dog trainer, I have substantial hands on experience with training, positive reinforcement, routines, boundaries, mental stimulation, and everyday dog care. I believe dogs thrive when they are given a healthy balance of affection, structure, exercise, enrichment, freedom, and clear expectations. My current dog, Charlie Girl, is a 2 year old Boxer/Hound mix with an incredibly happy and social personality. She has responded exceptionally well to training and has reinforced how much I enjoy working with dogs, learning from them, and helping them feel confident and secure. Caring for her every day includes walks, training, play, mental enrichment, affection, and plenty of time to relax and be part of the family. I also understand how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else’s care. My 2 year old Boxer/Hound mix, Charlie Girl, has a daily routine that includes walks, training, mental stimulation, play, affection, and plenty of time to relax and cuddle. I bring that same level of attention and involvement to the dogs entrusted to my care. Because I am intentionally dedicating my time to pet care, dogs staying with me are part of my day not something I simply fit in around a busy schedule. I enjoy being actively involved with them throughout the day through play, enrichment, positive reinforcement, companionship, outdoor time, and exercise. I believe daily walks are important for both physical exercise and mental stimulation, and when appropriate for the individual dog's age, health, routine, the weather, and their family's preferences, I aim to provide up to an hour of walking and outdoor exercise each day. I also know how difficult it can be to leave your dog with someone else. Communication is a major part of the service I provide, so I enjoy sending regular photos, videos, and updates throughout their stay. I would rather communicate too much than leave a family wondering how their dog is doing. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable second home where dogs can relax and enjoy themselves while their family is away not an environment that feels like being placed in a kennel. I have a comfortable home with a fully fenced yard where dogs have room to play, explore, enjoy supervised outdoor time, or simply relax. I take a calm, patient, and structured approach to caring for dogs. I believe dogs thrive with a healthy balance of affection, freedom, exercise, positive reinforcement, and clear rules and boundaries. Structure should help a dog feel secure and understand what is expected of them without taking away their opportunity to be a dog. Understanding canine behavior and body language is especially important to me. I pay attention to the smaller signals dogs use to communicate whether they are excited, uncertain, overstimulated, uncomfortable, ready to play, or simply in need of some quiet time. Every dog has its own personality, history, routine, and comfort level, and I believe good care starts with respecting those differences. Charlie Girl is a happy, social dog who genuinely enjoys connecting and playing with other dogs. Even so, I never assume that two dogs will immediately be comfortable together. Introductions and interactions are handled thoughtfully and supervised, with each dog's behavior and comfort level determining how quickly they progress. I also make it a priority to follow the routines and expectations established by each dog's family, including feeding schedules, sleeping arrangements, walking routines, training cues, boundaries, and other care instructions. Consistency can make being away from home much easier for a dog. Most importantly, I take the responsibility of caring for someone else's dog seriously. These animals are members of their families, just as the dogs throughout my life have been members of mine. I want owners to leave knowing their dog is being watched closely, treated with patience and respect, given meaningful attention and enrichment, and welcomed into a home where their safety and well being come first. Regular photos, videos, and checkins are part of that commitment so you never have to wonder how your dog is doing.

“I have had an unstable schedule recently. Elizabeth has been very flexible with me over the past 2 weeks. I swell my dogs kibble as well as add “real” food like veggies, egg, yogurt, pumpkin purée etc. The feeding routine is not simple. She did everything as asked. My animals seem to really like her too!”

About: Hi! I go by Aspen! I’ve raised and cared for animals of all shapes and sizes since I was young and I work at a dog boarding and daycare facility. I’ve trained and raised puppies, I have experience with senior dogs and cats and I have lots of experience with reactive dogs or temperamental kitties. I’ve been trained in administering medication and I love all fur babies! I work 5 days a week between 6-8 hour shifts, but other than that spend most of my time at home. When I’m not at my job I will be able to give your animal lots of love and company while you’re away. I am active and love to take your pups on long walks and/or give them tons of play time if that’s their thing! I also love cuddle time with my senior pups/couch potatoes. For overnight stays your fur baby will get walks, endless cuddles, and lots of play time! I love animals being in my personal space and by my side all the time. Send your clingy pups my way!! For Drop-ins and in-house stays I ask that I meet the animal first. For walks I do around 30-60 min per walk. If you have a high energy dog I am happy to incorporate fetch or runs!

About: We have a large fenced yard and 2 playful pups that loves making new friends! Dakota (female 1/2 Australian Shepherd 1/2 Lab) and our other dog Azalea (female standard poodle) are big balls of energy so we are frequently going on walks and to the park. When it gets too hot, we keep Dakota, Zelle, and friends inside to relax on the cool hardwood floors. We both grew up with dogs and love them in all shapes and sizes :) I work from home full time so they have my attention all day long:) We will not keep your pet locked in a cage, our goal is to make sure you pick up a tired pet! Check the calendar for availability. We can't wait to accommodate you and your pet! I currently work from home so I can provide full attention all day! I am frequently letting my girls in and out to sun bath and relax inside. Since I am home all day, the dogs are usually by my side when working. When the weather is nice I let them out to play in the fenced in yard. We also have a large kennel that is completely shaded all day if your pup enjoys being outside like mine do.

About: I’ve owned both dogs and cats in the past, as well as walked neighbors and friends dogs! Moved to a new city so looking for new pups and cats! Currently have a full time job but find myself in one place most of the day so looking for ways to stay active! I’m available most weekends, and week day nights! I like to keep a clean space so am sure to clean up after animals, as well as have a safe space for them to play, eat, and use the bathroom!

About: Pet sitter since 2017. I love animals and always had a cat in the house growing up. I was nomadic in my 20s and started taking care of my friends’ pets to get my cuddle fix. I am still pet free and full of love to share with your special friends. My experience is mostly with dogs and cats but also goats, birds, fishes, chickens, and a chinchilla. I am open to caring for all animals except horses since I do not have equine experience. I am also skilled at organizing, housecleaning, & gardening. I would be happy to add these services to pet sitting if needed. I am currently fully available to care for your pets. I have time to give them all the love they need so they are less sad to have you away. I love getting to know your pet’s temperament and interests. In addition to feeding and walking, I enjoy cuddling or playing with whoever I am caring for (the ones that like cuddles- I promise to leave fish in their tank!). I can easily bathe small to midsize animals while you are away for long periods and I am very responsible when it comes to medications. When possible, I like to take dogs out on fun excursions or to new places. If high energy, I prefer a safe area nearby to let them run or chase frisbees. Please let me know what needs your pet has!

I am in between jobs so I am free to work with whatever schedule you have. If you have leftover food that needs to be used, I’d be happy to not let them go to waste. I prefer to care for your pets in their home territory. I am very easy going and happy to follow any instructions you have for me.
