“Beth was fantastic! She was communicative for our whole trip and took really great care of our two kitties. Bonus, she taook better pictures of the kitties than I do!”

“Very easy to communicate with Dustin! He took some pics of that animals while he visited and reported back once his visit was done. Very nice to have someone to count on in a pinch!!”

About: I grew up with dogs and cats, so pet care is second nature! I've been walking, feeding, and loving on furry friends since for the last 15 years. I'm also great at giving meds (even the sneaky ones!) and making pets feel comfy and cared for. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and always aim to make them feel safe, happy, and loved. Your pets will be in caring, capable hands. Working remotely gives me a flexible schedule, so I can easily visit pets during lunch breaks or before and after work to give them care and attention. I always prioritize each pet’s safety by following all care instructions closely, from feeding routines to medication and walk guidelines. I double-check doors, gates, and leashes, and never leave pets unattended in unsafe situations. I also keep emergency contacts and vet info handy, so I’m fully prepared. Your pet’s well-being is my top priority!
“Georgia, as always, did an amazing job! Our pets love her and are always so well taken care of while we are away. Georgia gives great feedback and photos everyday so we know our pets are getting lots of pets, love and attention! She’s great!”

About: I have as much energy as your dog! I like to live up to my name as being a ray of sunshine in this world. I also have three years of experience with preschool age child care as well as 5-13 year olds from my time as a camp counselor during school breaks. I am the go to dog sitter for all my friends and family as it’s so well known I love all sizes and breeds of dogs. If we make a good connection, I would love to be a drop in nanny for the right family. I work at a catering company and winter is our slowest season. I work from the warehouse, to event management, to cooking onsite at weddings and events all summer and fall. We have one other slow month in July as well. I can keep up with your baby whether they enjoy playing with toys, or need cuddles and belly rubs. I am an avid walker if your love needs long walks to the dog park or time off leash in an open space. Your pet will get all the positive reinforcement they need with love and treats!

“I'm so grateful for Natalie caring for Winston. She was so wonderful with sharing pictures and providing daily updates. I so appreciated not worrying about my boy. He felt super loved too. I could tell when I got back that he wasn't as stressed as when I normally leave town. Thank you so much!!! I'll be in touch soon.”

About: Looking to keep your furry friend content and secure while you live your best life! Experienced in puppy and elder animal care, very active and love long walks and hiking as much as a couch potato 🥰 I work full time and looking to supplement my income by doing what I love - spending time with animals! I work remote 3x a week and available mornings/evenings and weekends for drop-in’s and overnights. I have a fenced yard and can set up a crate or play pen as needed. I adopted an 8 week old puppy last December, and she would love to keep your fur baby company when in my care. I have recent experience raising a super young puppy and we have been diligent in training. We assist at puppy training with the younger dogs and mentor them. I am happy to learn your dog’s training routine and incorporate it into the care. I believe the golden rule applies to dogs as well as people - treat your animals the way you want to be treated! This means, lots of snuggles and encouragement, routine feeding, long walks AND adventures, and plenty of stimulation. Im happy to welcome your pup to my space, or come to them to ensure comfort and familiarity.
“Melinda is an excellent dog sitter! It was my first time having a dog sitter and she put my mind at ease! She was caring and great with Kasper! Overall, very satisfied with her care! Thank you again Melinda! ❤️”

“Bari is the best! Can not say enough good things about the service she provides. My 5 month old puppy is in great hands when I must travel for work. Peace of mind is priceless. Thank you!”

“Hans is great! We are just starting our Rover relationship and he is getting to know my dogs and they are learning to trust him. In time, I will be able to go out of town because they will be in love with him!”

“Jessica was incredible! Our kitties loved her. She was responsive, responsible, and truly a joy to meet. I frankly think our cats were slightly disappointed that it wasn’t jessica walking through the door on the day we came back! We had a bit of snafu with our litter robot and Jessica helped us trouble shoot with ease and grace. Would highly recommend!”

“Debbie went above and beyond to meet the needs of our cat. I appreciated the all the pictures and the daily check in reports. I could see in the pictures how well my cat was responding to Debbie. I would 100% recommend her!”

“Michelle was an incredible sitter for my Moo! She’s super personable and kind. She’s very attentive to my pets needs and makes sure he gets a ton of play time in :) she also didn’t hesitate to clean up his mess when he wasn’t feeling well! Definitely very loving with animals and will continue to use her as a pet sitter!”

About: I’ve had cats and dogs my entire life and have raised two puppies; one from 6 weeks old and one from 6 months old. I have pet/house sat for many friends and family over the years. I have a 2 year old dog currently, so I’m very familiar with daily routines, basic training, and the patience needed at every stage. I’m reliable, calm, and great with shy or anxious pups, confident with puppy basics, and attentive to safety on every walk. I communicate clearly and send consistent updates so you always feel connected while you’re away. Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine. I live downtown with my 2 year old dog, which means we’re out for multiple walks every day for exercise, potty breaks, and fresh air. As a single dog parent, I’m used to managing all the feeding, training, and activity on my own, so adding walks or drop‑ins for other pets fits naturally into my schedule. I’m already out and about, I just bring a few more happy pups along for the ride. I keep things simple, safe, and consistent with whatever routine your pet is used to. In your home, I follow your instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walk times, crate routines, and any training cues you use. I make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, and calm company so they feel comfortable while you’re away. At my place, I maintain a predictable routine with regular walks, potty breaks, and playtime. Pets are allowed on furniture in my home. Since I live in a downtown apartment with my own dog, I’m already used to frequent outings and keeping a clean, pet‑friendly space. No matter where I’m caring for your pet, I focus on safety, communication, and making sure they feel relaxed and well‑loved.
“Michelle was incredible. I needed a sitter on relatively short notice, and she stepped right in. She’s clearly a cat person, and she immediately formed a relationship with my 2 cats. Her updates were always detailed and helpful. Would highly recommend Michelle to anyone!!”

North Oak Park pet parents share their Rover experiences
Beth is fantastic! She was great with catering to our dog's specific needs, was very prompt and responsive, and sent lots of cute photos while we were away. Our pup just adores her. I will absolutely book with Beth again, and would recommend her to anyone needing care for their pups.

Copeland is absolutely amazing!! This was my first experience with Rover and I will return purely because of Copeland. My usual sitter had an emergency before my international trip so I only had a couple of days to find a new sitter. Copeland was incredibly responsive and able to set up a meet and greet the next day. She was an angel from start to finish. Not only was this my first time using Rover but it was also the longest span of time I was away from my fur babies. Needless to say, I had lots of anxiety that Copeland immediately put to ease. There were ebbs and flows that Copeland kept me in the loop every step of the way and handled with such grace and care. My babies range from a small aloof cat to a large rowdy dog. There wasn’t a millisecond that I had concerns that any of my pets weren’t being handled with the utmost of care and love. Book with Copeland - you and your babies will not regret it. <3

Holly is a true animal guardian. She takes care of my two cats with special medical needs, earning their love and trust to give insulin injections, syringe meds, and capsule meds. I always feel at ease when Holly takes care of my sweet boys. Thank you, Holly!

Really great experience - Kyra was so great with our cat Rascal. Every drop in visit we got photos and we could tell how content and happy he was. Kyra was super easy to communicate with and flexible to fit our alternate drop-in schedule as we were away for a while. Highly recommend and we will absolutely be looking to rebook in future!

Natalie is the absolute best pet sitter a parent could ask for!! We had a trip during the holidays (12/26-1/4) and asked her to come do daily visits from 12/27-1/3 for our two 8mo kittens. She went above and beyond during her stay. Of course she always feeds them exactly to our instructions and even sends photos of their meals. She also cleans their automatic feeders, dishes, water fountain, and even their litter robot! She also took out the trash from their litter robot and gave it a full wipe down multiple times. On one of the first days of her visits, one of the cats had a #2 accident on the litter rug right outside of the litter box. Natalie cleaned that up for us and told us not to feel bad at all and reassured us that this stuff happens, which really meant so much to us! Not only that, but she went so far as to vacuum and tidy up during her last stay! She is incredibly attentive to any pet/house chores and does so much more than you’d expect from a pet sitter. I think that the most incredible aspect of her care is how she interacts with the cats. Our girls love human interaction and affection, but one of them is very shy with new people. She runs into the cabinet, under the bed, anything to get away from new people in the apartment. During Natalie’s first visits, that’s exactly what she did. But by the end of her visits she was napping with her on the couch and even letting her pet her!! Natalie is the only person in the world other than us who she allows to pet her, it makes me so happy! She put a lot of effort into making her comfortable and letting her go at her own pace and it really paid off. She also takes time each visit to play with them, give them treats, pet them, sit with them on the couch, etc. You can tell the girls love her a lot from all of the pictures she sends during her visits! The one who is less shy lays on her, purrs when they’re sitting together, naps with her. Even our shy girl sits with her on the couch and naps with her. They both make biscuits with her too!! When we came back home, the girls seemed so happy and healthy! She also gives incredibly detailed updates after each visit with a ton of photos! We received 40-70 photos for each visit along with her super thorough updates. This was our second service with Natalie and we would never want to use another sitter for our precious kitties. You can tell she really loves and values all the pets and parents she sits for, even in the way she talks to us about her job, she just loves it and it really shows in how she does her work. If you need a pet sitter for daily visits, house stays, literally anything, Natalie is 100% your perfect sitter. If you are deciding between her and another sitter, she’s your pick! You will come home to happy, well taken care of pets!
