“Thank you Reginay for caring for Queenie. She had a great time and I knew she was in the best hands. Lots of walks and play time. Pics and prompt communication. Appreciate it!”
“My dog Oreo had a great two weeks with Marilee and Joe. Oreo had loads of fun playing and wrestling with their dog Zuko who is a great role model for my 3 year old pup. The entire family welcomed and played with Oreo. He even got to go visit the river to swim! 😊 🐕 💗 💦 Marilee was great with communication and sent photos of my happy pup! Lol! He had such a great time I was sort of worried that Oreo would be in withdrawal when we got home without all of their company and attention! We are planning on having Oreo visit again when we go out of town.”

“Chauncey had a great stay with Demetra. She has a yard that Chauncey and her dog played in nearly all day Sunday, and when I picked him up he was exhausted. Demetra is really responsive and communicative, and after meeting her I knew Chauncey was going to have a great time there. Would definitely rebook!”
“We love staying with Catherine and her fur babies. Everyone is so well taken care of and ends their stay happy and relaxed. Kevin and DiDi love Catherine!”

“Absolutely amazing! She took great care of our pup and sent pics of him playing and having a good time. She played a lot with him and made sure he had a great stay”

“We had a wonderful experience with Martha May while she boarded our dog, Loki. From the moment we connected, Martha was caring, kind, and incredibly communicative throughout his stay. She provided regular updates and thoughtful feedback, which gave us peace of mind and helped us better understand Loki's needs for future boarding visits. It was clear that Martha May genuinely cared about Loki's comfort and well-being, and he was well cared for during his time with her. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and willingness to share helpful observations made the experience exceptional. I highly recommend Martha May to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive dog sitter. We would be happy to book with her again in the future!”

“Best rover out there! They truly love and respect animals, and they provide lots of picture updates. My pup had so much fun she passed out right when she came home!”

About: Hi! I’m originally from Norway and currently live with my husband and our very friendly cat. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely enjoy. I was the main caregiver for my dog for 11 years, so I’m very used to daily walks, feeding, playtime, cuddles, and making sure pets feel safe and happy. Since then, I’ve also volunteered at animal shelters, fostered cats, cared for neighbors’ and friends’ dogs, and I even had 3 bunnies myself, so I’m comfortable with all kinds of personalities and energy levels. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets, because they really are family. Whether your pet is playful, shy, energetic, or just wants company and affection, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and cared for while you’re away. I’ll treat them like they’re my own❤️❤️ I currently work part time starting around 4 PM, and my husband gets off work around the same time (3:30pm) so there will almost always be someone home to care for your pet. I also have a lot of free time and love to stay active during the day, I love to walk, hike and run,so pet care fits very naturally into my routine. I’m excited to give your pet lots of attention and care while you are away! I always want pets to feel safe and comfortable in my home. We recently moved into our apartment, so there isn’t a lot of clutter or things pets can get into. Our cat is also very nosy, so we’ve already made sure our home is very pet-proof and safe. I pay close attention to each pet’s routine, personality, and any instructions from the owner. Whether that’s walks, feeding schedules, playtime, medication, or just giving them extra attention and comfort, I’ll make sure they feel cared for and at home while you’re away. I also love going on walks and staying active, so dogs will get plenty of exercise, attention, and outdoor time with me💓
“This was my first experience with Rover. I needed to go out of town for a night and left my Husky/Rottweiler puppy Ziggy, for Noelle to watch. He came home calm and so well behaved. I’m definitely checking with her next time I need help with my pup!”

“They were so accommodating on such short notice. Gave Bodie the quiet space she needed on the final leg of her spay recovery. Received many updates along with photos. I don't think she wanted to leave when it was time to pick her up. Wonderful people and will definitely keep Marie & James in mind for next time. <3”

“Brandee is a dog whisperer! We’re so thankful to have found her. We needed a dog sitter two times in 10 days and our pup couldn’t have been at a better place.”

About: I have taken care of animals for as long as I can remember! Even tho I am new to the rover app I’ve been the go to pet sitter for friends and family for about 7 years now . I am constantly around animals and having to commit myself to taking care of them. I am comfortable around all dogs and am willing to adapt and learn how to best care for your animal. When I come to take care of, play with, and walk your dogs I will dedicate my time to loving them. I would love to be able to take them to the dog park where they can also interact with other animals while you're away! I am available for drop ins or house sittings when needed! I am also flexible and can accept last minute bookings. When in your home, I would love to take your fur babies for walks, to dog parks, anything you already do with them to make them the most comfortable! I am mostly available Monday / Thursday after 6 pm , and fully available Friday / Sunday for boarding or drop ins , but could most definitely accommodate different times I currently don’t have any puppy’s of my own . I have a fenced yard for your puppy to play and explore and I also live blocks away from 2 separate parks where we could go on walks
“We booked Roy because our previous sitter canceled and Roy was quick to respond and very willing to take care of Rudy. Rudy is a Doby in his teenage phase so he has a lot of energy and Roy was ready to take that on. He gave Rudy lots of attention and play time and Rudy had a blast. We felt so relaxed on our trip because we knew Rudy was in good hands. Highly recommend Roy for your sitter!”

“Tammi was great with my reactive German Shepherd. She sent me photos and let me know how he was doing daily. Communication was great. I appreciated that she was available on short notice. Highly recommend her! Will book again! Thanks!”

“Anna was completely accommodating to my doggo during her stay at Anna's clean house. Anna provided regular updates during the boarding process, and made sure my dog was healthy, happy, and surrounded by other friendly dogs. Thank you again!”

“Catherine is an amazing sitter. Her home is clean and peaceful and my dog had a lovely time there. You can tell she loves dogs and my dog loves her and her husband, even when my husband came to pick him up he went to lie next to Ernie! We plan to use her regularly when we need her service should her schedule allow. Thanks for watching him on short notice!”

North Oak Park dog parents share their Rover experiences
Our husky dog has stayed for a week while we were on vacation. Marcie has taken great care of our dog by waking him daily and keeping an eye on him while he was outside in the backyard, since our husky has a tendency to find any way to escape in search of new adventures. Marcie also provided daily updates with pictures of our dog to let us know how he’s doing. Thank you for providing a great stay for our dog!
Hana was really wonderful with my baby! I asked her to keep me updated as this was my first time using a babysitter. Through her kind actions I was impressed and assured knowing my baby boy was loved and taken care of while I was away! I definitely will be using her again!

Cecilia was incredibly attentive to our two boys. Our dogs take topical and oral medications which Cecilia was able to administer. I felt comfortable leaving them with her for a weekend trip and she made sure to send me updates throughout the day. Will definitely rebook her for other trips!
