1. Reginay F.

“Reginay was amazing in taking care of my 2 year old energetic dog Canelo. He immediately felt comfortable with her and in her home. She sent pictures regularly that reassured me that he was well taken care of and happy. I’ll definitely be booking Reginay going forward. Canelo loves her!”

2. Katherine O.

“Katherine was a fantastic sitter for our senior pup Amara and I would happily be a return customer! She was available to accommodate Amara super last minute, which was life saving, and she really understood the needs of a senior doggo with a particular personality. She was very thorough, even communicating which vet she would use in case of emergency (don’t worry, no emergencies occurred!). They had a great time hanging out in her back yard, going on strolls and snuggling on the couch. Amara was a very happy girl at the end of her stay and I would definitely recommend Katherine as a Rover sitter!”

3. Bari & Felix B.

“Bari was great! I would bring my pup to her any time. She made him feel at home and kept us updated the whole time. Thank you so much, Bari!!”

4. Michael H.

“Michael was great! Set up a meet and greet before our weekend away and was very accommodating. Felt so comfortable leaving our pup with him because he had so much prior experience. He sent lots of updates and our girl looked so happy. We’ll definitely book with him again.”

5. Alexandra S.

“Amazing person and dog lover! Would highly recommend working with Alexandra, she took care of our dogs and made us/them feel comfortable. It’s very tough to leave your dogs with someone new, but she made the whole process easy!”

6. Persia N.

“I'm 58 years old, no kids and Lucy is my first dog. We are inseparable and I'm probably overly protective but I had never left her with anyone until I left her overnight with Persia. Persia was so kind and understood my anxieties about leaving Lucy for the first time. She called me to ease my concerns. She lives in a charming, quiet neighborhood and also has a wonderful fenced backyard and a dog park nearby. She only had her own dog Thursday (so cute and sweet) and one other dog besides Lucy which gave me comfort as well. Further, without going into details Persia helped me with something after I dropped off Lucy that went above and beyond and I'm forever grateful to her. During Lucy's stay Persia sent pictures periodically to let me know my fur baby was happy and in good hands. Also, Persia has a very calming presence which sets the tone in her home for visitors (ie our dogs). I recommend Persia if you're seeking a sitter for your fur baby. Thank you Persia ?”

7. Brandee F.

“This was my first time using the Rover application, and was a little worried about how this was all going to go down. I am so grateful for Brandee being part of the Rover team, she did a great job introducing me to pet-care away from home. I was visiting the Sacremento area with my dog, and though I found a pet friendly hotel my last day of packing up and cleaning to go home I’m I thought to let Romeo enjoy some time away from that hustle/bustle. Brandee had a reasonable quote, was understanding of me being a bit motherly for being away from my dog for the first time and updated me about his stay in the process. I got everything I needed to cleaned up and picked him up on our way back home and I am so happy with the whole process! Thank you so much Brandee for taking such great care of my Romeo 🐾”

8. Achara J.

“Achara took care of my little man for a couple days when I went out of town. She sent me updates throughout his stay, with pictures. It seemed like he had a great stay with her family and their dogs. I appreciate everything Achara did for me and the little pup!”

9. Demetra P.

“Blue loved her weekend with Demetra! She had a great time playing with Demetra's sweet pups and came home happy and tired. Demetra sent us several photos/updates over the weekend and was super sweet and easy to work with. I definitely recommend her! 😊”

10. Danielle W.

“Thank you so much Danielle and Gabe for watching Ruby! I could tell Ruby had a great time and I got daily updates from them. I definitely will use them again!”

11. Grisel G.

“This was my 1st time booking care for my pet cat. We are having issues with our AC and when I have to be at work and it's 107°, cat needed safe place indoors. Grisel gave me peace of mind from the initial inquiry (daycare and potential overnight boarding) until the last moment saying our goodbyes. I was nervous being new, but she was completely professional, respectful and patient. her helpful relative was also so attentive to my shy babe. Communication was 100% as was the set up and the care. Obviously would return and would recommend!”

12. Jose M.

“Did a wonderful job dealing with my dog. That has severe separation anxiety. Very communicative with updates about my dog. Also super patient when dealing with my dog that cries really loud and alot. Would definitely recommend 100 percent.”

13. Zariyah S.

“Zariyah is a very caring, dedicated dog sitter/boarder. She had no qualms about watching Acey for almost 4 weeks… although she was 8+ months pregnant at the time, and we didn’t know her condition until the boarding began! Her baby came early but her husband stepped in to help, even with their new baby. Acey received great care, including a lot of walking, and running & fetching at the nearby dog park.”

14. Brian W.
About: I’ve owned cats and dogs on and off for decades (on a farm). As a kid and growing up, we had German Shepards, mutts, Lab-Terrior mixes, and a Saint Bernard. I currently have a four year-old Chihuahua that is an amazing dog and a very important part of our family. Because I love dogs, and the need in Midtown for pet sitters, I decided to join Rover. I have used the service several times myself over the years and found it to be reliable and good for my dog. I wanted to offer the same relatable trustworthy service to other families in need of someone to watch their smallest family members. I hope to take the stress out of leaving your dog with someone while you are on vacation or traveling for work.I truly understand the uncertainty and hope for your pet to have a good experience. Pet care is part of our life. I am generally home with the exception of running some errands or to get groceries but typically not for very long. I make time for walks with the dog and potty breaks every couple of hours or when our dog lets us know. Pet boarding fits seamlessly with my lifestyle. I live in Midtown and have grass around the house, but it’s not fenced in. Whenever we go out, the dog is on a harness for walks or potty breaks. The backyard is asphalt, and the dog will go out there sometimes but generally, a walk around the block is more fun for her. Walks to the state capitol are common and provide great exercise.

15. Tarah G.

“Tarah is the Best!! Annie was very happy and comfortable. Tarah kept us updated on how Annie was doing thru out her stay. Annie has found a new friend and we are so happy with her love and care for animals. 🐶❤️”

16. Michelle & James M.

“Michelle and James were absolutely incredible!! I am so so thankful to have found them to watch my sweet girl. I have never had to leave her by herself before but Michelle was so amazing at reassuring me and they both did so amazing at sending pictures and keeping me up to date with how things were going. I will ABSOLUTELY be rebooking with them any time I need to travel. Nessa seemed so relaxed, happy, and healthy when I picked her up. She seemed to have felt like part of the family and it made me so happy to know she was comfortable and safe.”

17. Patty F.

“It was the second time our dog has seen Patty and his first overnight with her. She was a great communicator before and during his visit with pictures of him enjoying his stay.”

18. Livia K.

“Livia was great! Overall was one of the best dog sitters I ever used. Consistently checked in with me throughout the day and provided photos with updates. I was very busy throughout the day with delayed messages on my part, but thankfully Livia was very quick to respond when I needed anything. Champ came home happy and had a great experience overall. Would definitely recommend Livia and would reach out to her again”

19. Joel M.

“Stout had a great time with Joel! We loved the text, pic, and video updates about Stout throughout the weekend. Joel was super accommodating to time for drop off and pick up. Joel took Stout on lots of walks, had other dog play dates, and gave Stout lots of attention. She loved it!”

20. Jennifer M.

“We were so pleased with our experience working with Jennifer! Our dog came back so happy and we could tell she was definitely well taken care of and loved! We were nervous to leave our dog over NYE with all of the fireworks but Jennifer did an excellent job of helping her to feel comfortable. She also provided great daily updates. So happy to have found her and will definitely look to her again for future stays.”
