“Achara did a great job from the beginning to end! She responded to all of our messages in a timely manner and had no problem answering any of my questions. We are very particular about our fur babies and worry a lot whenever we leave them so it was nice to have someone who was willing to reassure us repeatedly. Achara made sure to let our 2 puppies meet her dogs through a baby gate to make sure everyone got along perfectly first which was great. Our dogs and hers got along great. She sent us lots of pictures everyday to show us how our puppies were having a great time and playing. She took them walking and made sure they got to stay active like they do at home. Pickup was easy and dogs were happy and safe which is what we love!! Very satisfied with the whole experience. We will definitely recommend Achara to friends and will be using her again!!”

He is a rescue dog who has experienced trauma, and this was the very first time I had left him with someone since adopting him two years ago. From the moment I dropped him off, she understood exactly what he needed. Rather than pushing interaction, she gave Atlas the space and time to come to her on his own terms while he adjusted to a new environment. That patience and understanding meant so much to me. Throughout his stay, she sent frequent updates and pictures, which gave me tremendous peace of mind. “Kilani was AMAZING! My kitties came out to greet her instantly. Even my shy kitty came out and said hello, which is very rare for him (he usually hides). I immediately loved and trusted her. She has such a sweet and calming energy and she is also very professional. Asked a lot of good questions at our meet and greet to make sure we were all set up for success. She stayed overnight for the weekend with my two kitties and sent me photos every day. I didn't worry about my kitties once because I knew they were in good hands. Svetlana does a wonderful job taking care of her while we’re gone and making sure she gets all of the exercise and attention that she needs. We were gone for 10 days at one point, and often our cat will break out in dermatitis when she’s stressed, and even after 10 days, she showed absolutely no signs of stress which I 100% contribute to Svetlana’s care and attention. Svetlana also brought in our mail, charged cat toys, and took wonderful care of our home while we were away, giving us daily updates and photos. I could not recommend Svetlana more!!!”

“Heath Bar didn’t make it easy - he barked the entire time at Danielle’s unless she was there with him, I k ew he had separation anxiety but the only time it presented for the last several years was while he was alone in the car. His being alone in the house was not a problem for him. My take away is to be certain someone will be at home with him for most of the time he will be in someone else’s care. Danielle was very responsive and kept me informed the day Heath was in her care.”

About: Hello! I’ve had dogs all my life and love getting out and walking them. I’m a recent UC Davis Animal Science graduate starting at UPenn for Vet School this year. I’ve walked a huge range of breeds, sizes, and energy levels, everything from high-energy German Shorthaired Pointers, Huskies, Pitbulls, and Shepherds to Golden Retrievers, Cocker Spaniels, and Frenchies. On the sidewalk, I stay focused on city traffic, managing space around other dogs, and avoiding street hazards. About: I am super active (hiking, running, freediving, surfing) so I'll make sure to give your pup a good amount of exercise! I'm a Sacramento native and know all the fun places to go on a walk. I also love cats and can't get bored of playing with them! I have experience in caring for special needs and senior animals. I have tons of availability all summer long so please reach out! “Achara did a great job from the beginning to end! She responded to all of our messages in a timely manner and had no problem answering any of my questions. We are very particular about our fur babies and worry a lot whenever we leave them so it was nice to have someone who was willing to reassure us repeatedly. Achara made sure to let our 2 puppies meet her dogs through a baby gate to make sure everyone got along perfectly first which was great. Our dogs and hers got along great. She sent us lots of pictures everyday to show us how our puppies were having a great time and playing. She took them walking and made sure they got to stay active like they do at home. Pickup was easy and dogs were happy and safe which is what we love!! Very satisfied with the whole experience. We will definitely recommend Achara to friends and will be using her again!!”

He is a rescue dog who has experienced trauma, and this was the very first time I had left him with someone since adopting him two years ago. From the moment I dropped him off, she understood exactly what he needed. Rather than pushing interaction, she gave Atlas the space and time to come to her on his own terms while he adjusted to a new environment. That patience and understanding meant so much to me. Throughout his stay, she sent frequent updates and pictures, which gave me tremendous peace of mind. She was always quick to respond whenever I reached out and made sure all of my instructions were followed carefully. If anything wasn’t clear, she asked questions rather than making assumptions. Most importantly, she treated Atlas like family. He received plenty of snuggles, attention, and playtime; including one of his favorite activities, fetch. It was obvious that she genuinely cared about his comfort and happiness. She went above and beyond to make both Atlas and me feel comfortable, and I am so grateful for the care she provided. The biggest sign of how well she cared for him came when I picked him up. Atlas was incredibly excited to see me, but after greeting me he ran back over to her for one last snuggle before we left. As his mom, that told me everything I needed to know about how safe, loved, and comfortable he felt during his stay. They had a great time hanging out in her back yard, going on strolls and snuggling on the couch. About: I’ve been around/cared for dogs for more than 20 years of my life and still continue doing so. From having my own dogs at home to taking care of dogs in other peoples homes, I make sure to do my best work when taking care of them. I’m currently working from home, but with very flexible time. This gives me lots of time to be able to spend time with your pups here at my house or simply to just give them time to enjoy the outside in your own home/place. There may be some weekends where I can offer boarding or check-in’s. I have a huge fenced yard along with two playful pups that would love to have friends over to run around with or simply keep company for naps. I make sure to follow each rule and direction that is given to me in order to make your fur baby’s stay/check in as smooth as possible.
