About: I have been dog sitting and taking care of pets since I was 15. I love being with dogs of all ages and breeds. About: I’ve spent most of my life caring for dogs and have personally trained five dogs with different personalities, needs, and learning styles. Over the years, dogs have been much more than pets to me, they have been members of my family. That experience has given me a deep appreciation for how differently every dog communicates, learns, plays, relaxes, and builds trust. I’m especially passionate about canine behavior and body language. I pay close attention to the small signals dogs use to communicate how they’re feeling, whether they are excited, nervous, overstimulated, curious, playful, or simply in need of some quiet time. I believe good pet care starts with understanding the individual dog rather than expecting every dog to respond the same way. While I am not a certified dog trainer, I have substantial hands on experience with training, positive reinforcement, routines, boundaries, mental stimulation, and everyday dog care. I believe dogs thrive when they are given a healthy balance of affection, structure, exercise, enrichment, freedom, and clear expectations. My current dog, Charlie Girl, is a 2 year old Boxer/Hound mix with an incredibly happy and social personality. She has responded exceptionally well to training and has reinforced how much I enjoy working with dogs, learning from them, and helping them feel confident and secure. Caring for her every day includes walks, training, play, mental enrichment, affection, and plenty of time to relax and be part of the family. I also understand how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else’s care. My goal is to make that decision easier by treating every dog with patience, attentiveness, and respect for the routines and boundaries their family has established. I enjoy providing regular photos, videos, and updates because I believe clear communication helps owners feel connected and confident while they are away. Ultimately, I want every dog in my care to feel safe, understood, engaged, and genuinely welcomed. Seeing a dog relaxed, happy, and comfortable is something I find incredibly rewarding, and I want to provide that same peace of mind to every family I work with. Caring for dogs is already a central part of my daily life, and I am committed to making pet care a dedicated part of my work. My 2 year old Boxer/Hound mix, Charlie Girl, has a daily routine that includes walks, training, mental stimulation, play, affection, and plenty of time to relax and cuddle. I bring that same level of attention and involvement to the dogs entrusted to my care. Because I am intentionally dedicating my time to pet care, dogs staying with me are part of my day not something I simply fit in around a busy schedule. I enjoy being actively involved with them throughout the day through play, enrichment, positive reinforcement, companionship, outdoor time, and exercise. I believe daily walks are important for both physical exercise and mental stimulation, and when appropriate for the individual dog's age, health, routine, the weather, and their family's preferences, I aim to provide up to an hour of walking and outdoor exercise each day. I also know how difficult it can be to leave your dog with someone else. Communication is a major part of the service I provide, so I enjoy sending regular photos, videos, and updates throughout their stay. I would rather communicate too much than leave a family wondering how their dog is doing. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable second home where dogs can relax and enjoy themselves while their family is away not an environment that feels like being placed in a kennel. I have a comfortable home with a fully fenced yard where dogs have room to play, explore, enjoy supervised outdoor time, or simply relax. I take a calm, patient, and structured approach to caring for dogs. I believe dogs thrive with a healthy balance of affection, freedom, exercise, positive reinforcement, and clear rules and boundaries. Structure should help a dog feel secure and understand what is expected of them without taking away their opportunity to be a dog. Understanding canine behavior and body language is especially important to me. I pay attention to the smaller signals dogs use to communicate whether they are excited, uncertain, overstimulated, uncomfortable, ready to play, or simply in need of some quiet time. Every dog has its own personality, history, routine, and comfort level, and I believe good care starts with respecting those differences. Charlie Girl is a happy, social dog who genuinely enjoys connecting and playing with other dogs. Even so, I never assume that two dogs will immediately be comfortable together. Introductions and interactions are handled thoughtfully and supervised, with each dog's behavior and comfort level determining how quickly they progress. I also make it a priority to follow the routines and expectations established by each dog's family, including feeding schedules, sleeping arrangements, walking routines, training cues, boundaries, and other care instructions. Consistency can make being away from home much easier for a dog. Most importantly, I take the responsibility of caring for someone else's dog seriously. These animals are members of their families, just as the dogs throughout my life have been members of mine. I want owners to leave knowing their dog is being watched closely, treated with patience and respect, given meaningful attention and enrichment, and welcomed into a home where their safety and well being come first. Regular photos, videos, and checkins are part of that commitment so you never have to wonder how your dog is doing.

About: Hi! I go by Aspen! I’ve raised and cared for animals of all shapes and sizes since I was young and I work at a dog boarding and daycare facility. I’ve trained and raised puppies, I have experience with senior dogs and cats and I have lots of experience with reactive dogs or temperamental kitties. I’ve been trained in administering medication and I love all fur babies! I work 5 days a week between 6-8 hour shifts, but other than that spend most of my time at home. When I’m not at my job I will be able to give your animal lots of love and company while you’re away. I am active and love to take your pups on long walks and/or give them tons of play time if that’s their thing! I also love cuddle time with my senior pups/couch potatoes. For overnight stays your fur baby will get walks, endless cuddles, and lots of play time! I love animals being in my personal space and by my side all the time. Send your clingy pups my way!! For Drop-ins and in-house stays I ask that I meet the animal first. For walks I do around 30-60 min per walk. If you have a high energy dog I am happy to incorporate fetch or runs!

About: I’ve been around/cared for dogs for more than 20 years of my life and still continue doing so. From having my own dogs at home to taking care of dogs in other peoples homes, I make sure to do my best work when taking care of them. I’m currently working from home, but with very flexible time. This gives me lots of time to be able to spend time with your pups here at my house or simply to just give them time to enjoy the outside in your own home/place. There may be some weekends where I can offer boarding or check-in’s. I have a huge fenced yard along with two playful pups that would love to have friends over to run around with or simply keep company for naps. I make sure to follow each rule and direction that is given to me in order to make your fur baby’s stay/check in as smooth as possible.

About: Hello! Thank you for your trust and for taking the time to read my profile. I have grown up around pets of all kinds and have extensive experience caring for dogs and cats of various ages, sizes, temperaments and breeds. I have been using Trusted Housesitters for the past two years to care for pets as an exchange for staying in others homes, receiving an average rating of 5 stars for over 13 visits across the US - see attached pictures for a few testimonies :) I believe I am a great sitter for the time, energy, and love I put into every pet I have cared for - I feel immensely grateful that so many people have continued to trust me with their pets, and have allowed me the joy of spending time with their animals. I am responsible, compassionate, and communicative - it is incredibly important to me that everyone is comfortable and happy while also respecting any requests or boundaries that the owner has in place. When I am not spending time with others beloved pets, I work in public health as an Occupational Health manager, supporting our workers and advocating for more protective measures for these populations. Additionally, purchased a Sprintervan back in 2022 (named Danger O'shea;) that I have had converted into a mini-home, which I use for both pleasure and business, renting it out whenever possible. Working remotely makes it easy for me to have flexibility throughout my day and allows me the opportunity to take breaks as needed to give your pet scratches, cuddles, and to go on ample walks/hikes as needed. I live in a home with a fenced in backyard and in close proximity to many parks, lakes, and trails. I love taking pets on excursions whenever I can (with owner approval), especially for those more active animals who need to burn off some extra energy :)
