About: Dogs have always been family to me—not just pets. I raised my Chihuahua mix, Lala, from the time she was a puppy and helped care for Grace, a rescue pit bull who came to us extremely underweight. Watching Grace transform from skin and bones into a healthy, confident, loving dog taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and compassionate care. I also care for my friend's Chihuahua, Coco, whom I treat like my own. Through caring for Lala, Grace, and Coco, I've learned that every dog has a unique personality. Some are energetic, some are cautious, and others simply want to be close to someone they trust. I take the time to understand each pet and help them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. My experience includes preparing high-quality meals, providing fresh water, bathing, brushing teeth, monitoring behavior, giving plenty of affection, and making sure each pet receives the individual attention they deserve. I believe the best care goes beyond meeting basic needs—it's about creating an environment where pets feel secure, respected, and genuinely cared for. When your pet is with me, I'll care for them with the same patience, love, and attention I gave Grace, Lala, and Coco. My goal is for you to have peace of mind knowing your pet is safe, happy, and treated like family. I have a flexible schedule and can provide reliable care throughout the week, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Whether your pet needs a walk, a drop-in visit, daycare, overnight boarding, or house sitting, I'll make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, affection, and personalized care. I love spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you're away Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I carefully follow feeding schedules, provide fresh water, take dogs on walks, give belly rubs, play with them, clean up after them, and keep a close eye on their behavior and well-being. I have experience caring for dogs of different sizes and personalities, including a rescue pit bull and Chihuahuas. I understand that every pet is unique, and l'll care for yours with patience, love, and respect-just like they're part of my own family

That was really important because I’m always afraid of my pup learning unwanted behaviors, but I had full trust that it wouldn’t happen with Nelly! She was diligent with our pup and her interactions with her pets. She also sent plenty of updates throughout the day which I appreciated. pup came home tired! Thank you :)”

About: I have been around animals my entire life. I adore all animals and really enjoy their company. Having two fur babies of my own I know the importance of having someone you trust take care of them. I would treat your pets as if they were my own. Pets are family and should be treated with love, compassion, and respect. I have taken care of animals of all ages. I can give medication if needed. I would love to spend time with your pets when you are not able to. I currently work part time from home and have a flexible schedule. I would have plenty of time to spoil your fur babies with walks and belly rubs. I can do doggy daycare and boarding almost any day and time as long as your dog is tolerant to other dogs and is up to date on vaccinations. Playtime, walks, snuggles, and whatever else your pups or cats needs are, I am more than happy to supply them with the love and attention they need while you are away.

About: I’ve always had family pets. We’ve adopted several dogs, young and old, over the years. We currently do not have our own pets, but understand how important it is to feel relaxed when traveling, knowing your furry family is taken care of while away. I am self-employed and work from home. This allows me to be very accommodating when watching your pets and/or home. My wife is an RN and would be able to step in should my schedule not accommodate a particular situation. I prefer to watch your pets in their routine environment knowing it makes them less anxious while you’re away. Depending on your pet and their disposition, I could also allow them time in our home.

Im always nervous leaving them with someone new but from the second they walked in the door they immediately made themselves at home which in an of itself speaks volumes of how comfortable of a space they provide. The yard is a puppy paradise with lots of plants and things to sniff. They provided great pics and videos and my pups came back each time happily tuckered out. If I weren't moving out of state we'd become regulars! Highly recommend”

“Heath Bar didn’t make it easy - he barked the entire time at Danielle’s unless she was there with him, I k ew he had separation anxiety but the only time it presented for the last several years was while he was alone in the car. His being alone in the house was not a problem for him. My take away is to be certain someone will be at home with him for most of the time he will be in someone else’s care. Danielle was very responsive and kept me informed the day Heath was in her care.”

About: Hi, I’m Zarmene (or Z)! Animal care and behavior are my true passions. Over the years, I’ve learned so much from my own dog and two cats, as well as from rescuing and reuniting dogs with their families. Volunteering at sanctuaries and caring for injured wildlife has only deepened my knowledge. What clients love about me: ~Trustworthy and reliable with both pets and homes. ~Detailed updates with notes, pics/videos, and a solid understanding of animal care and training. ~Patient and consistent, especially with anxious pets—dogs quickly warm up to me! ~Positive reinforcement is my go-to—no shock collars, just communication that works for each pet. ~I believe in tailoring care to each animal’s needs, listening to their cues, and helping them feel safe and comfortable. ~On-leash walks are my specialty, and adventure days are available for an extra fee. Note: If you're more than 5 miles from me, a small mileage charge may apply, depending on the number of visits. Feel free to ask any questions at our Meet & Greet before booking! Currently, I am a freelancer, so I make my own hours, with plenty of time to love your pets, as well as my own senior dog and 2 cats! Pet sitting in your home: ~It will be kept as clean as you left it—and maybe even cleaner, time permitting! ~I ask that is is clean and scent/smoke-free (allergies) when I arrive. ~I ask for a little space in the fridge for my food. Day care or boarding in my home: ~The spare bedroom is a Pet Air BnB! Enough room for pets to play together throughout the home or take their own space in a room. ~A crate/kennel with padding/bed is required, for everyone's safety and comfort. ~There are multiple clean beds for all the fur babies. That said, a boarding pet is most comfortable when they have their own bed or blanket brought with them, which must be flea/pest-free and clean. ~A collar with tags and leash are required. Harnesses are also recommended. ~Due to landlord restrictions, I can't accept pets in my home over 35 lbs or certain "dangerous" breeds (insurance rules, unfortunately). ~I use only non-toxic, natural, and eco-friendly cleaners and pest repellents for the safety of your pets and the environment. Everywhere: ~I stay alert to your pets' social cues, respecting their boundaries and addressing their needs. I provide stimulating opportunities to explore and burn off energy in a safe and respectful manner.
