“First time leaving Oreo with someone for the day . Admittedly, I was nervous , Anna resolved all of that , she was communicating through the day , Oreo was exhausted when I got him back which told me he had a blast ! I’ll use Anna again ! Oreo has a new friend !”

About: I have experience with a wide range of pets! Medication, grooming, and basic care all in one person who actively communicates to ensure your satisfaction and care of your family member. I was a dog/cat groomer for 6 years and worked at a doggie daycare for 4 years, working with a wide range of breeds and personalities has helped me accurately read pets and their needs. I have experience with dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and small pets. Pet care is a natural part of my daily and weekly routine—it’s something I genuinely look forward to. Whether it’s morning feedings, litter box cleaning, grooming, or quiet cuddle time, I schedule each task with care and consistency. I make sure every pet gets the attention and comfort they need, and I adjust my routine around their habits and preferences. For me, caring for pets isn’t a task—it’s a meaningful part of my day. I am available around the clock so just let me know when you need me! Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or a client’s, I create a calm, clean, and comfortable environment where they feel safe and loved. I follow each pet’s routine closely—feeding schedules, playtime, grooming, and any medication needs—so they experience as little stress as possible. In my home, I maintain a pet-friendly space with plenty of enrichment and supervision. When visiting a client’s home, I respect their space and ensure their pet receives attentive, personalized care just as they would if you were there.
“Our first time with Deanna will definitely not be our last! This is our first time in the area and Deanna made us feel so comfortable. My highly energetic pup did amazing in her hands with plenty of toys, yard space, and other pups to play with. Thank you!”

“Kevin has been an absolute lifesaver and Dakota loves arriving at his house and staying all day even. He gives me peace of mind and Dakota has all his needs met”

“Lee was amazing with Lucy! She had the best time playing with Bubba and came home happy and tired both days. He sent lots of pics and videos throughout the day so I knew she was having fun. Couldn’t ask for a better dog sitter — Lucy can’t wait to hang with Bubba again!”

“Reginay has been SOOO unbelievably accommodating with my crazy schedule; she lets me work out unusual drop off/pick up times, lets me schedule last minute whenever I need it (when she’s open), and is just incredibly communicative. My dog, Penny, just loves her. She recognizes Reginay’s place when we pull up and is physically and audibly thrilled to see her every time!”

“Yesterday Jasmine took care my dog for the first time for 2 1/2 hours after one meet and greet. My dog is a new rescue about 1 month ago. She is uneasy around other dogs and has severe separation anxiety. Jasmine was able to help my little dog to relax in her home and even go outside around the other dogs without growling at them. I have already booked my dog for a longer stay with Jasmine in the coming week. Much more than I had hoped for. Just great!”
“Manuel is wonderful!! He took our dog Chunk in for a couple days of doggy daycare and the experience could not have been better. Not only did he have a great setup, he is responsive, sent photo updates, and genuinely cared about my dog being comfortable and happy!”

“My chihuahua does not always like meeting new people but I could tell he warned up quickly to Bari. Definitely a relief since I was nervous about how he'd do. Nice and good with dogs 5⭐ and the occasional pictures also put me at ease during his stay”

About: * Right now I can only accept dogs that are excellent with cats, doesn’t chase or show much interest in them. I have a senior cat that can’t protect herself by running away. Thanks! I am very respectful, quiet, and patient. Traits that dogs and cats seem to love! I have a huge soft spot for seniors. I love their energy and have a lot of respect for them. I am also a self proclaimed “Crazy Cat Lady”. I absolutely love cats and I have a very deep respect and connection with them. I love being around animals. I will get depressed if I don't fulfill my daily life with them. I have 5 years experience working at a veterinary hospital when I was in my 20's. I gained lots of knowledge and experience with pet medical care while I worked there. I assisted with surgeries, gave vaccinations, nail trims, and administered oral and injectable medications. I specialize in seniors. I have a deep love and respect for seniors. I love to massage, sing to and spend quality time with cats and dogs of all ages. I currently have a blind dog, and he has made me somewhat of an expert with blind or disabled pets. I learned to be hyper aware and sensitive to their needs on a whole different level. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up I had not only a dog and cat, but also rats, birds, hamsters, ferrets, fish finatic, turtles, snakes and rabbits! I loved each and every one of them. I am home full time and your pet will be by my side all the time, or close to me as much as they want (or don’t want!) I have a secured fenced in yard with extra protection for jumpers or diggers. I have a doggy door if they like it, if not I can let them out every hour or as much is needed.
“Jeniffer goes above and beyond when caring for our pup. From walks to play time to helping us out with extended care when a family emergency occurred, we’re very happy we’ve found her. Our pup gets excited when he gets within a mile of her house and knowing he’s in good hands makes all the difference.”

“Domynique was amazing with my puppy Ollie. She sent updates and would provide walks along with just great quality time. She was super accommodating to my commute that she volunteered to meet me half way. Ollie always came home ready for a nap after a great day with Domynique, will definitely be booking again and would recommend 🥰”

“Juliet was great! Really good with communication. Nola seemed to really enjoy going to spend time with her through out the day. It was evident that Nola was well cared for and comfy in her home. If ever I’m back in Sacramento I’d definitely rebook!”

About: I have over 25 years of hands-on animal care experience, starting in childhood on a farm and continuing throughout my life. Caring for animals has always been a core part of who I am, not just something I do. I have extensive experience with dogs and cats. I am comfortable caring for pets of all ages, including pets with more medicine needs. I work with animals of all sizes and dispositions. I am very experienced with medication administration, including oral medications, subcutaneous injections in cats, injections in dogs, and specialty medications such as cancer treatments, which I administer carefully and safely using proper protective equipment. I am also familiar with veterinary care routines and attentive to changes in behavior or health. I am known for being gentle, patient, observant, and calm, even in challenging situations. I have significant experience caring for senior pets, animals with medical needs, and cats with strong personalities or aggression. I respect animals’ boundaries, read their body language closely, and know when to give space and when to confidently stand my ground so everyone stays safe and comfortable. What truly sets me apart is how deeply I care. I love getting to know each animal as an individual, learning their routines, preferences, and quirks, and interacting with them in the way that works best for them. I take pride in making animals feel safe, respected, and genuinely cared for while their humans are away. I’m trustworthy, attentive, and fully present when I’m with your pets. I will likely give them silly nicknames and may even sing to them, but above all, I will treat them with kindness, respect, and the same level of care I would want for my own animals. I work from home, which means my schedule is very flexible, and pet care fits seamlessly into my daily and weekly routine. Because I’m not tied to a rigid office schedule, I’m able to plan my days around pet visits, routines, and any special care needs rather than trying to fit them in between other commitments. I’m proud to be one of the go-to pet sitters in my Sacramento community, and I take that trust seriously. When I commit to caring for pets, they receive my full attention, not rushed or distracted care. I’m able to reliably maintain feeding schedules, administer medications, provide enrichment and companionship, and keep up with daily care tasks that help pets feel comfortable and secure. I understand how important consistency, calm, and reliability are for pets when their people are away. My flexible schedule allows me to spend quality time with each pet, observe their behavior closely, and notice any changes early. I communicate clearly and provide thoughtful updates so pet parents can feel confident and at ease while they’re gone. Pet sitting isn’t something I squeeze into my schedule. It’s something I intentionally make space for. I genuinely enjoy caring for animals and am excited to continue offering dependable, attentive, and compassionate pet care to my community. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, my approach is centered on safety, consistency, and respect for each pet’s routine. I take the time to understand each pet’s needs, preferences, and any special care instructions so their environment feels as familiar and stress-free as possible. I follow established feeding schedules, medication instructions, and care routines carefully, and I’m experienced administering a wide range of medications when needed. I’m attentive to behavior, appetite, energy levels, and overall comfort, and I address any concerns promptly and thoughtfully. I prioritize creating a calm, clean, and secure environment. I’m mindful of doors, gates, leashes, litter boxes, food storage, and any household safety considerations. I respect pets’ boundaries and personalities, and I interact with them in the way that works best for them, whether that’s active engagement, gentle companionship, or giving them space while still keeping a close eye on their well-being. Communication is very important to me. I provide regular updates, including photos, so pet parents can see that their pets are comfortable, happy, and well cared for. I’m responsive, transparent, and proactive with communication, which helps owners feel confident and at ease while they’re away. Above all, I care for pets with patience, attentiveness, and genuine affection. I take the responsibility seriously and treat every pet and home with the same level of care and respect I would expect for my own.
“Katherine was absolutely wonderful with our dog, Vigo. She is clearly very experienced and comfortable with all different kinds of dogs, which immediately put us at ease. We felt completely confident leaving Vigo with her for two consecutive days while we visited Sacramento. Katherine has an excellent system for thoughtfully and safely socializing dogs, and it was clear that Vigo felt comfortable with her and engaged right away. Our dog has A LOT of energy and loves to run and play, and he was genuinely happy and very content when we picked him up both days. We couldn’t have been happier with the care Vigo received. I highly recommend Katherine to anyone with dogs of any breed or temperament. We wish she lived closer to us for regular stays but will absolutely go back to her any time we’re in the area.”

About: I’ve grown up with pets my entire life and can’t imagine a home without them. My first dog, Harley, was my best friend and taught me so much about responsibility and unconditional love. When I started college, I adopted my baby cat, Cujo, who’s been with me for the past three years. Caring for him has deepened my understanding of cats’ unique personalities and needs. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or keeping up with routines, I truly enjoy making every pet feel safe, loved, and happy. Hi there! I’m a full-time college student at Sacramento State (stingers up!) who’s currently taking mostly remote classes, with just one in-person course. I live with my partner and our sweet cat, Cujo, and we’re also excited to be expecting a little one soon! Right now, I’m doing Rover as my main form of employment, which means I have plenty of time to dedicate to caring for your pets. I’m available all day on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and weekends. I currently live in a spacious upstairs apartment in a large, pet-friendly complex with plenty of room for walks and playtime. There are lots of open areas around for exercise, and my balcony is a cozy spot for lounging and relaxing with pets. I’m also just a short distance from Howe Park, which is perfect for fun days out and extra playtime with dogs who love the outdoors!
“Rita was great! She was super responsive as we made arrangements for meet & greet / drop-off / pick-up, and she was very sweet with my dog. Unfortunately our dogs weren't a good match, but I appreciate how kind Rita was throughout it all, and I think she would be a wonderful sitter for any dog that's not quite so pushy about playing as mine is!”

Anna is exactly who you want looking after your pet. Maple, our dog, wags her tail so much and almost jumps out of the car to run to the door when we pull up to Anna’s house for daycare! If Maple could write this review, she’d tell you about nice walks, great front/back yard for sunbathing, and the 1:1 cuddle time. As Maple’s human, I’m very appreciate of Anna’s flexibility, communication, and great photos from daycare. Thanks Anna!

We contacted Hallie at the last minute for dog care help on Thanksgiving. She was available to take care of our 3 Aussies for the day and as late as we needed. Hallie was great and very flexible. She asked questions about their needs. The dogs settled in right away and even took naps, a sure sign they were comfortable. I loved that she was able to take them for walks - they are pretty high energy. She sent us a wonderful photo of the 3 doggos. It made us feel so good and allowed us to really enjoy our visit with family. We will absolutely contact Hallie again when we are back in the area.
The inital booking was sent for Gracie to be dropped off at Ashlynn's, at 6:30. Once Ashlynn's plans had changed, and she could begin watching Gracie earlier then scheduled, she was quick to let us know; so we could drop her off sooner; which was a greatly appreciated and helped with our plans. Ashlynn is very nice and attentive to details. When I reached out to see how it was going, I got a quick reply, with a picture attached. Gracie is a rescue dog, and very much clingy to me; as I work from home and am with her 24/7. Upon arriving at Ashlynn's and meeting her, Gracie willingly trotted off with her and not once looked back. finding Ashlynn to watch Gracie, was a God send and I would hire her every opportunity I had; if a dog sitter was needed
Melissa did a great job caring for my 5 month old puppy. She was a fast responder in the app, communicative throughout the booking process and during doggie day care providing updates and picture of my happy pup. It’s clear she is enthusiastic about working with animals. I will be booking regularly with Melissa to care for my fur-baby.
