About: I started volunteering at the Antioch Animal Shelter in the 4th grade. Since then I have volunteered at numerous shelters and rescues, including the emergency animal shelter in Oroville after the Camp Fire. I'm Disaster Animal Rescue Team (D.A.R.T.) trained, animal CPR and first aid certified, and have years of TNR experience. I have had many exotics as pets, including a reef tank at one time. I have no issue feeding crickets and worms, but I can't feed snakes rodents. I'm a lifelong vegetarian, so that would traumatize me. Lol. I also love rodents, and currently have 2 rescue guinea pigs. Animal care and nutrition are a passion of mine. I'm also an expert teeth brusher! I brush my cats and dogs teeth every night and some of my pet sits as well. I'm very experienced giving medication, even pills to cats and my recently adopted cat Ricky is diabetic. Two of my regular cats I sit take meds, and one gets insulin injections, so I'm very comfortable with both and also know how to check blood glucose. Animals are allowed on the furniture in my home, even the bed. A couple of dogs I regularly sit sleep in the bed with me and my dogs. I treat other people's furbabies the way I would want my furbabies treated. I'm a helicopter pet parent so I totally understand how hard it is to trust someone with the ones you love. If I ever thought something was wrong with your pet I would notify you asap, and I have no issue taking an animal to the vet. I have a rescue dog who has occasional seizures and a rescue kitty with kidney disease that I give sub-q fluids to every day, so I am very comfortable with special needs animals. I'm pretty OCD when it comes to pet care. I actually have a pet thermometer and carry a microchip reader in my truck with an extra leash. You'd be surprised how many times I've used that chip reader! Being a helicopter pet parent I NEVER EVER leave an animal outside alone, not even in my fenced in yard. I don't take chances. I'm also obsessively clean, so your litter box will not be a hot mess when you return, and if your dog uses a potty pad no problem. I also have waterproof vinyl plank flooring so accidents and kitty puke is easy to clean up. :-D. When I board animals it is very much mi casa esu casa! I'm also more than happy to water plants when I do drop-ins as well, since I have them myself and am also a gardener. :-) I work from home 3 days a week and the other 2 days I come home for lunch since the office is only 2.5 miles from my house. I'm home most weekends as well. I follow the care instructions to the letter. If your pup requires a crate it must be brought with them, since mine are not crated. I am comfortable giving medication and supplements, measuring food, following a raw food diet, feeding exotics, etc. I'm also comfortable grooming for an extra fee, but will never ignore a mat in their fur or charge extra for daily grooming like toothbrushing.
âAlways amazing care for my energetic beagle. Grisel kindly accommodated as I needed to extend my pick up time last minute. Always reliable and sweet updates.â

I work part time early mornings. Im off work by 8am and readynto provide services. I have crates in home and youre welcome to provide your own. âFirst time leaving Oreo with someone for the day . Admittedly, I was nervous , Anna resolved all of that , she was communicating through the day , Oreo was exhausted when I got him back which told me he had a blast ! Iâll use Anna again ! Oreo has a new friend !â

âNelly was very communicative and made sure my dog was able to have a slow introduction with her pack. Sandwich came back ready for a big nap after his stay so I know he had a big day! Iâm happy he had a good stay with Nelly đâ

âNelly did a great job taking care of doodle. She was very friendly and responsive! I received pictures, text updates, and a happy dog when I picked him up.â
âI highly recommend Joel! My old girl was calm and happy after her day stay. Extremely considerate of Lolaâs needs. Sheâs a picky pup and can be stressed by strangers, but not with Joel. Didnât have to worry about her safety or well-being. A great help and huge relief.â

âKristen was amazing!! She took my last minute request for day care and took very good care of my dog Mochi. She was very nice and responsive, thoughtful of the way she introduced mochi to her dogs, and even proactively sent me tons of cute photos of Mochi. Would recommend !!â

âRoy was an excellent fit for Whiskey he had plenty of time room and energy for our little doofus to play A+ communication and the regular updates and photos were a wonderful way to add peace of mind my wife and I couldnât recommend him highly enoughâ

âTanisha was fantastic with my dog Morty. My dog is reactive and nervous around new dogs, and she was willing to do whatever it takes to make sure he would feel comfortable with her and her dog. We did a meet and greet, followed by a test overnight board and test daycare. It was incredible to see how well my dog settled in with her. You can tell she cares a lot about the dogs she watches. I got a lot of pictures and videos of my dog while he was with Tanisha (more than I've ever gotten from a sitter). I highly recommend Tanisha!â

âMatt took such great care of my dog Lillie! He was communicative, was great with introducing her to other dogs slowly, and made sure she felt comfortable. We will definitely book with Matt again in the future!â

âTony and his dog Millie were great! My anxious pup relaxed with him quickly and she had a lovely evening playing in the yard. Super safe yard and house, Tony seems very knowledgeable and experienced with all sorts of temperments. Definitely recommend!â

About: Iâve grown up with dogs my whole life, and theyâve always been part of the family. My home is cozy and dog-friendly, with two large pups of my own and a spacious, fenced backyard they can enjoy through a dog door while Iâm home. When Iâm away, all dogs stay safely inside. To keep things comfortable, I host no more than four dogs at a time (including my own). If you have more than two dogs from the same household, I may be able to make an exception depending on their size and needs. I know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your pup with someone new, so Iâm happy to send daily updates and pictures to give you peace of mind. Your dog will be treated like family here! Get $20 off your first booking with me https://www.rover.com/sit/annetn64528 I work from home so Iâm home most of the day. I try to limit time away from home to 4 hours a day. If Iâm watching a puppy or a dog that cannot be alone for 4 hours, I can accommodate if my schedule is open. For long stays, there are some days i may be out longer than 4 hours if I have an event but I will let you know before booking. Your pup is welcome to lounge on the furniture and will receive plenty of love, attention, and playtime from me and my two dogs and will have free roam in the house. We have a communal toy bin and a spacious, fenced backyard accessible via a dog door when Iâm home. When I leave, the dogs are secured inside the house. Until your pup is ready to free roam unsupervised with my dogs, theyâll have a safe, separate hallway complete with a comfy dog bed, toys, and water, so they can still see and enjoy the company of the others for the times I am not home . If your fur baby prefers a crate while Iâm away, I can do that only if they genuinely enjoy their crate and look forward to settling in. If your dog enjoys walks, Iâm happy to take them for a drive to a nearby park or a friendly neighborhood walk. I care about a harmonious environment, so I can only host dogs that get along well with others. My home is best suited for pups who love to play and mingle, and I currently host up to two small to medium dogs to keep things cozy. We love puppies.
About: What sets me apart from other dog sitters is my deep understanding of dog behavior and my genuine passion for creating a safe, fun, and loving environment for every pup I care for. I donât just âwatchâ dogsâI engage with them through structured play, enrichment activities, and tailored routines based on their needs and personalities. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine as a stay-at-home mom. Iâm already used to maintaining a structured, nurturing environment, and that translates perfectly to caring for pets. Iâm home throughout the day, so I can provide consistent attention, regular potty breaks, walks, playtime. Whether Iâm caring for pets in my home or in a clientâs home, my focus is always on creating a safe, loving, and stress-free environment.
âRisa saved us after being extremely worried about not knowing who to leave our baby with for the first time, since we were traveling for my daughter's graduation and Luna has never been left alone or with a stranger. Risa understood our concern about leaving our baby. Risa, made everything very easy, she always answered every time we contacted her to see how Luna was behaving, of course we will contact to her, Risa, thank you very much and God bless you! for the help you give to everyone dog children,â

âJulie and her sister Sandy are wonderful. My miniature Dachshund, Bruno, has been going to their home for doggie daycare for some time now. They have gone above and beyond taking him with very little notice and picking him up and returning him. I feel very confident about his safety while in their care. Recently, I had an emergency and they picked him up without any notice and I boarded him with them for 3 days. This was the first time he was away from home and his first night he was nervous, but they gave him lots of reassurance and comfort. I highly recommend them to anyone that is looking for a loving and caring doggie daycare and boarding in a home environment.â

Woodlake dog parents share their Rover experiences
Kevin was amazing! He was very responsive and flexible with drop off and pick up times for my commute with work. It was my first time leaving my new dog with someone during the day and Gracie was happy to see him each day. He was great with taking photos and following care instructions. Will definitely book him again!

Anna is exactly who you want looking after your pet. Maple, our dog, wags her tail so much and almost jumps out of the car to run to the door when we pull up to Annaâs house for daycare! If Maple could write this review, sheâd tell you about nice walks, great front/back yard for sunbathing, and the 1:1 cuddle time. As Mapleâs human, Iâm very appreciate of Annaâs flexibility, communication, and great photos from daycare. Thanks Anna!

Caroline was very communicative and took great care of our dog, Millie. Millie takes a while to warm up to people and Caroline was happy to interact with Millie on her terms. She sent pictures and updates throughout the day which really eased our minds! I would book a service with Caroline again.

Kylie was the first person we chose to watch our puppy, Birdie, off rover and we are so happy with our decision. She's so sweet and updated us throughout the night on our pup which made us feel more at ease. We will hands down be contacting her again for future stays.

Kristen was amazing!! She took my last minute request for day care and took very good care of my dog Mochi. She was very nice and responsive, thoughtful of the way she introduced mochi to her dogs, and even proactively sent me tons of cute photos of Mochi. Would recommend !!

Stephen was a great dogsitter! His dogs are larger and more high-energy, which makes Chancho really anxious. At his suggestion, we did a backyard slow meeting between the dogs, one at a time, and Stephen picked up on Chancho's attitude and needs immediately. Chancho was definitely overwhelmed, but Stephen picked up on his body language, walked us through a couple strategies he had to keep the dogs safe and happy, and assured us that he'd be in touch if need be. Any concerns I had about leaving him with a new sitter were alleviated by the time we headed out and I knew Chancho was in good hands! Stephen was very responsive, sent photos when we checked in, and made pick-up easy as well. We'd definitely recommend Stephen and look forward to seeing him the next time we book.
