His being alone in the house was not a problem for him. My take away is to be certain someone will be at home with him for most of the time he will be in someone else’s care. Danielle was very responsive and kept me informed the day Heath was in her care.”

About: I have been around animals my entire life. I adore all animals and really enjoy their company. Having two fur babies of my own I know the importance of having someone you trust take care of them. I would treat your pets as if they were my own. Pets are family and should be treated with love, compassion, and respect. I have taken care of animals of all ages. I can give medication if needed. I would love to spend time with your pets when you are not able to. I currently work part time from home and have a flexible schedule. I would have plenty of time to spoil your fur babies with walks and belly rubs. I can do doggy daycare and boarding almost any day and time as long as your dog is tolerant to other dogs and is up to date on vaccinations. Playtime, walks, snuggles, and whatever else your pups or cats needs are, I am more than happy to supply them with the love and attention they need while you are away.

About: I’ve always had family pets. We’ve adopted several dogs, young and old, over the years. We currently do not have our own pets, but understand how important it is to feel relaxed when traveling, knowing your furry family is taken care of while away. I am self-employed and work from home. This allows me to be very accommodating when watching your pets and/or home. My wife is an RN and would be able to step in should my schedule not accommodate a particular situation. I prefer to watch your pets in their routine environment knowing it makes them less anxious while you’re away. Depending on your pet and their disposition, I could also allow them time in our home.

About: I’ve loved animals since I was a kid and have real experience caring for them. I had two dogs—a Husky and a mixed-breed dog—and I was involved in their daily care from around age 10, including feeding, walking, and just making sure they were happy and healthy. I now live in a different country and can’t be with my own pets anymore, but my love for animals never changed. I’m calm, patient, and easygoing with animals. I’m comfortable with both dogs and cats and I always try to match each pet’s personality, whether they’re energetic, shy, playful, or more relaxed. My goal is simple: make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I have a very flexible schedule and am available any time. I enjoy spending time with pets throughout the day, including walks, feeding, playtime, and just keeping them company. I can easily adjust my routine based on each pet’s needs and the owner’s instructions. I always prioritize safety, trust, and a calm environment for every pet. I carefully follow all owner instructions regarding feeding, walks, routines, and any special needs. Pets are supervised at all times and never left in unsafe situations. In my home, pets have access to a secure fenced yard for safe outdoor time when needed. I make sure the environment is clean, quiet, and stress-free so pets can relax comfortably. In a client’s home, I respect their space, maintain the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, and ensure everything is left clean and organized. I also provide regular updates and can send photos at any time so owners feel confident and connected while they are away.

I raised my Chihuahua mix, Lala, from the time she was a puppy and helped care for Grace, a rescue pit bull who came to us extremely underweight. Pet sitting in your home: ~It will be kept as clean as you left it—and maybe even cleaner, time permitting! ~I ask that is is clean and scent/smoke-free (allergies) when I arrive. ~I ask for a little space in the fridge for my food. Day care or boarding in my home: ~The spare bedroom is a Pet Air BnB! Enough room for pets to play together throughout the home or take their own space in a room. ~A crate/kennel with padding/bed is required, for everyone's safety and comfort. ~There are multiple clean beds for all the fur babies. That said, a boarding pet is most comfortable when they have their own bed or blanket brought with them, which must be flea/pest-free and clean. ~A collar with tags and leash are required. Harnesses are also recommended. ~Due to landlord restrictions, I can't accept pets in my home over 35 lbs or certain "dangerous" breeds (insurance rules, unfortunately). ~I use only non-toxic, natural, and eco-friendly cleaners and pest repellents for the safety of your pets and the environment. Everywhere: ~I stay alert to your pets' social cues, respecting their boundaries and addressing their needs. I provide stimulating opportunities to explore and burn off energy in a safe and respectful manner.
