About: I'm a foster fail! Please let me explain. During the pandemic, my daughter convinced me to take a feral kitten off the streets, and I ended up with a sibling, too! I told myself, this is only temporary until things get better and I can find them permanent homes. Five years later and I cannot imagine my life without them. One is a cuddle bug, the other the classic "give me attention only on my terms only" type of cat, and I love and care for them equally. I keep their litter boxes spotless (morning and night) and feed them appropriate, quality food. While they’re both indoor cats, they have plenty to do here, and my adventurous one enjoys some time outside on a leash or in her enclosed play pen and tunnel. I share this because it reflects my approach to all animals: meeting their needs, respecting their boundaries, and providing safe, loving care. I recommend that your cats stay in their familiar environment, as introducing them to a new home can cause stress and behavioral changes. About: I started volunteering at the Antioch Animal Shelter in the 4th grade. Since then I have volunteered at numerous shelters and rescues, including the emergency animal shelter in Oroville after the Camp Fire. I'm Disaster Animal Rescue Team (D.A.R.T.) trained, animal CPR and first aid certified, and have years of TNR experience. I have had many exotics as pets, including a reef tank at one time. I have no issue feeding crickets and worms, but I can't feed snakes rodents. I'm a lifelong vegetarian, so that would traumatize me. Lol. I also love rodents, and currently have 2 rescue guinea pigs. Animal care and nutrition are a passion of mine. I'm also an expert teeth brusher! I brush my cats and dogs teeth every night and some of my pet sits as well. I'm very experienced giving medication, even pills to cats and my recently adopted cat Ricky is diabetic. Two of my regular cats I sit take meds, and one gets insulin injections, so I'm very comfortable with both and also know how to check blood glucose. Animals are allowed on the furniture in my home, even the bed. A couple of dogs I regularly sit sleep in the bed with me and my dogs. I treat other people's furbabies the way I would want my furbabies treated. I'm a helicopter pet parent so I totally understand how hard it is to trust someone with the ones you love. If I ever thought something was wrong with your pet I would notify you asap, and I have no issue taking an animal to the vet. I have a rescue dog who has occasional seizures and a rescue kitty with kidney disease that I give sub-q fluids to every day, so I am very comfortable with special needs animals. I'm pretty OCD when it comes to pet care. I actually have a pet thermometer and carry a microchip reader in my truck with an extra leash. You'd be surprised how many times I've used that chip reader! Being a helicopter pet parent I NEVER EVER leave an animal outside alone, not even in my fenced in yard. I don't take chances. I'm also obsessively clean, so your litter box will not be a hot mess when you return, and if your dog uses a potty pad no problem. I also have waterproof vinyl plank flooring so accidents and kitty puke is easy to clean up. :-D. When I board animals it is very much mi casa esu casa! I'm also more than happy to water plants when I do drop-ins as well, since I have them myself and am also a gardener. :-) I work from home 3 days a week and the other 2 days I come home for lunch since the office is only 2.5 miles from my house. I'm home most weekends as well. I follow the care instructions to the letter. If your pup requires a crate it must be brought with them, since mine are not crated. I am comfortable giving medication and supplements, measuring food, following a raw food diet, feeding exotics, etc. I'm also comfortable grooming for an extra fee, but will never ignore a mat in their fur or charge extra for daily grooming like toothbrushing.

Harnesses are also recommended. ~Due to landlord restrictions, I can't accept pets in my home over 35 lbs or certain "dangerous" breeds (insurance rules, unfortunately). ~I use only non-toxic, natural, and eco-friendly cleaners and pest repellents for the safety of your pets and the environment. We currently do not have our own pets, but understand how important it is to feel relaxed when traveling, knowing your furry family is taken care of while away. I am self-employed and work from home. This allows me to be very accommodating when watching your pets and/or home. My wife is an RN and would be able to step in should my schedule not accommodate a particular situation. I prefer to watch your pets in their routine environment knowing it makes them less anxious while you’re away. Depending on your pet and their disposition, I could also allow them time in our home.

Not just that, but we adopted our dog Brooklyn when she was a puppy, so through that I learned to care and train a puppy. We are doing this as a family which means way more fun for all of us ☺️. As you can see by the pictures, I have a son who is 8 years old. His name is Aiden. He loves dogs and any fur animal. His goal is to have a dog when he’s a little older, so this is also a great experience for him to learn how it is to take care of a dog, with us doing most of the work 😂. My husband’s name is Josue and he has been around dogs all his life. He is great with dogs of all sizes and always has treats to make sure they know that they’re doing a great job. Anytime my husband sees any dogs all he wants to do is lay on the ground and have them all over him lol. Since we’re doing this as a family, we want to thank you very much for giving us the opportunity to watch, love, and care for your pups. I am doing this full-time, I love and enjoy taking care of your pups so I will always be available with open arms. I have plenty of time to walk, play, train, and snuggle your pups. I have a great backyard and a family ready to play. Doing this full-time has been a blessing not only for myself but for my family as well 💙💙. I have a fenced yard and I provide the crates as well if needed and we have all sizes. My house is very secure with a very big backyard, as well as two dog rooms for them to play in, sleep in, or have down time. The house will always be open for roaming. I want them to feel at home here🐾💙

I see myself as a form of extended family, as such I genuinely care and provide quality care. I had owners that needed me to care for special needs and request one on one care or special needs can be accommodated sometimes with additional fees but most often with the regular rates. I am able to do introductions with other animals or keep separate depending on pets temperament and owner preferences. I've taken care of pets, including my own since I was a young child. I have cared for all types of pets including cats, dogs (of all sizes) and other animals. I have experience with senior animals and puppies and have pet sat, been a dog owner and fostered. I have experience with multiple breeds and we prefer to make your pet feel at home as much as possible, so you can be at ease while away. I work from home and pets are provided care throughout the day. I know it can be hard to find someone you feel comfortable with taking care of your pet so I am to not only take excellent care of your pet but for you to rest assured your pet is in great hands. I have a fenced yard, as well as a space if you have a pet that needs to be confined or crated. I am happy to discuss needs and try to work out to make your pets stay as pleasant as possible. I ask that you provide all the things your pet is used to including schedule/ routine if you keep one so that their time away is comfortable and seamless.
