About: I’m not your average sitter, I work as a rescue pilot, helping relocate dogs across California, and I’ve cared for a wide range of pups from high-energy escape artists to senior dogs needing medication and extra support. I’m calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and genuinely love getting to know each dog’s personality and routine. Whether your dog needs a structured walk, extra patience, or just someone attentive and reliable, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for every step of the way. As a flight instructor and commercial pilot, my schedule is pretty flexible, mostly depending on my students, the weather, and if any pups are needing rescue. Meet & greets $10 within 5 miles, $15 within 10 miles from me! I can crate and transport your dog if need be, otherwise will be caring for them in your home and surrounding area/neighborhood for walks! :)
“Milagros is an excellent companion and walker for my dog Rex. Rex needs a walker who stays alert to his surroundings and is able to anticipate situations which might cause problems. Milagros handles all of Rex's anxieties and redirects when needed. Rex comes home happy and relaxed. Milagros walks Rex 5 days a week while I recover from a broken leg. She is on time, communicates well, and enjoys Rex. I trust her completely and am grateful to have found Milagros to help out for the next couple of months.”

About: I’ve always loved animals and have cared for dogs and cats of all ages. I’m great with playful puppies and senior pets who need extra patience. I can handle walks, feeding, basic training, and medication. I treat every pet like my own and make sure they’re comfortable and happy while you’re away. As a college student, I have a flexible schedule with plenty of breaks between classes. I’m usually available for drop-ins, walks, or playtime during the day. I live in a secure, trusted apartment complex with heavy security and an outdoor play area perfect for dogs. I am very tidy and will make sure to pick up after your dogs:)
About: Hi! I’m Sabrina — a dog sitter and walker with a big heart and lots of experience with dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I regularly care for two large female German Shepherds who keep me active with their daily walks, feeding routines, and plenty of love. I also dogsit a German Shepherd/Rottweiler puppy, so I’m no stranger to puppy energy, training consistency, and playtime. I also spend time with a sweet (and sometimes wild!) female German Shepherd/Husky mix, so I’m very comfortable with strong, intelligent breeds who need both structure and affection. On the smaller side, I’m familiar with a very hyper — and occasionally a bit spicy — terrier mix. Because of that, I’m patient, calm, and confident with pups who need a gentle, understanding approach. Whether your dog is energetic, shy, vocal, strong, or just needs someone who truly “gets” them, I’m here to help. I love making every pup feel safe, happy, and understood. I’d be honored to give your dog walks, company, and lots of care while you’re away! 🐾💛 I currently work part time and a part time wrestler. So i’m usually available early weekend morning. During the week I am available for early afternoon walks/sitting or early/late evenings. With the occasional late night house sittings as well. I have my dogs crate trained. They are on a set schedule so usually when i wake up they get fed, and taken outside and are able to wander around until i leave. Then upon arrival I usually feed them and take them outside and get them a bit of exercise and enrichment! For my clients home, I do like to stick to the schedule the dog is used to just so the owner isn’t inconvenienced with a fussy/sad dog when they are no longer in my care. I still like to enrich the pets with food mazes or toys that require a bit more thinking power!

“Ashley is my very first walker from Rover. She arrived on time. She asked great questions, and was helpful in laying down the plan for Jacqui. My dog can be a snob in meeting new people, but because of Ashley’s personality and ability to follow instructions, Jacqui felt comfortable letting Ashley remove her harness towards the end of the walk! What a big relief on my side! I will be using Ashley again for future walks.”

“We are so happy that Danielle is taking great care of our fur baby! She is great with communicating regarding walking times and days, she loves our fur child like her own, and she is dependable. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve always had family pets. We’ve adopted several dogs, young and old, over the years. We currently do not have our own pets, but understand how important it is to feel relaxed when traveling, knowing your furry family is taken care of while away. I am self-employed and work from home. This allows me to be very accommodating when watching your pets and/or home. My wife is an RN and would be able to step in should my schedule not accommodate a particular situation. I prefer to watch your pets in their routine environment knowing it makes them less anxious while you’re away. Depending on your pet and their disposition, I could also allow them time in our home.
About: I have been around animals my entire life. I adore all animals and really enjoy their company. Having two fur babies of my own I know the importance of having someone you trust take care of them. I would treat your pets as if they were my own. Pets are family and should be treated with love, compassion, and respect. I have taken care of animals of all ages. I can give medication if needed. I would love to spend time with your pets when you are not able to. I currently work part time from home and have a flexible schedule. I would have plenty of time to spoil your fur babies with walks and belly rubs. I can do doggy daycare and boarding almost any day and time as long as your dog is tolerant to other dogs and is up to date on vaccinations. Playtime, walks, snuggles, and whatever else your pups or cats needs are, I am more than happy to supply them with the love and attention they need while you are away.
About: I have had many pets through out my life and got to learn how to work with senior dogs, that includes one of my past dogs, Millie, who was 18 and I learned how to care for her. Not just that, but we adopted our dog Brooklyn when she was a puppy, so through that I learned to care and train a puppy. I know how to care for cats with cleaning their litter box and keeping them engaged. I love walking dogs and playing with them. I am working part time, however my schedule is very open and I can do daily visits with peoples pets. I would make them my priority to take care of them and make them feel comfortable. Also my shifts are only 3 hours so before and after I can visit the fur babies. In my clients home I will make sure that when they go outside I am either watching them from inside or going outside with them to make sure they are safe. I will make sure to play with them and care for them in my clients home.
“Michelle is an excellent dog Walker! She’s done a great job with my little girl VIDA. She is very in tune with her individual needs. I would highly recommend Michelle to walk your dog!”

About: Greetings! I grew up in a home that could only be described as “animal-enthusiast central”—dogs, cats, the occasional parakeet, even a mouse or two. Caring for animals has quite literally been a lifelong habit, not just a job. Over the years, I’ve gained hands-on experience with pets of all temperaments and breeds (honestly, I haven’t met one I didn’t love). I’ve also volunteered with Happy Tails Pet Sanctuary, which deepened my understanding of animal behavior and care. I’m comfortable with: • Administering medications • Multi-pet households • Special routines and quirks • Keeping your home in order (mail, trash bins, etc.) I treat every pet and home with the same care and respect I give my own—reliable, attentive, and always tuned in to what your pet needs to feel safe and happy. Because I currently have a few stray cats who’ve decided my yard is their forever home, I’m offering in-home care only—overnights, drop-ins, or custom schedules that fit your needs. If you’re looking for someone experienced, trustworthy, and genuinely invested in your pet’s well-being, I’d love to connect. Let’s set up a meet & greet and make sure it’s the perfect fit—for you and your pets 🐶🐱 Pretty open to all requests and try to accommodate for last minute scenarios. I retired semi early so my schedule is fairly adaptable to all. Former 5-star sitter here, making my grand return to Rover after a brief (and not-so-passionate) detour into another career. Turns out, nothing compares to caring for animals—so I’m back doing what I genuinely love. About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was a kid. I have 1 dog currently but I had 3 small dogs. I also love bigger dogs as well. I don’t mind playing with or taking them on walks I have free time over this summer. I am currently a college student at Sac State but would love to extend my time over here taking care of your pets! There is a fenced gate by my apartment complex, so they don’t go out. Pets are allowed, and I keep dogs on leashes whenever we go outside
“As first-time Rover users, we chose Alexandra and all we can say is Alexandra is the best! She is extremely prompt & communicative and was eager to help us navigate the app and Rover support when we realized we were being charged holiday fee outside of the holiday period. You can tell she genuinely cares about the pets she cares for while the owners are away. Thanks Alex!”

About: I stand out from other sitters because I bring a unique combination of skills and experience. I have specialized training in both puppy care and senior pet care, ensuring that I can handle the energetic needs of young dogs as well as the special attention required by older pets. Additionally, I am highly attentive, reliable, and passionate about providing the best possible care for all animals. My dedication to their well-being means I go above and beyond to make sure they are happy, healthy, and comfortable while in my care. I have a half husky and golden retriever dog and I know the work it takes to care for a dog with high energy. I make sure to schedule ample time each day for walks, playtime, feeding, and any special needs the pets might have. My routine is very flexible, allowing me to adapt to the specific requirements of each pet, whether it's administering medication, providing extra exercise, or simply giving them the attention and affection they deserve. This consistent and dedicated approach ensures that every pet receives the best possible care. When caring for pets in my home, I ensure a safe and comfortable environment by pet-proofing the space and providing plenty of toys and cozy spots for them to relax. I maintain a consistent routine, including regular feeding times, walks, and play sessions to keep them happy and healthy. When caring for pets in my client's home, I follow their established routines and any specific instructions they provide. I make sure to keep the home clean and secure, and I update the owners regularly on how their pets are doing. My goal is to provide a seamless and stress-free experience for both the pets and their owners.
Campus Commons dog parents share their Rover experiences
Aaron was so amazing! He went above and beyond to ensure our dogs and disabled father had everything they needed while we were away. He was only asked to walk the dogs once a day for an hour, but spent extra time and effort to ensure all went well. The dogs loved him and were excited to see him every day. Would absolutely recommend! 100/10!

Emily is great - reliable, communicative and a very calming presence for my pups. They are always excited to see her and are happy and tired after their walks. Emily also keeps an eye on my older girl and brings her back early if she's getting too tuckered out. They even seem to behave themselves with her so she has been a very good influence.

Bailee is awesome! She walked Bird twice this week and was super kind, communicative, and easy to work with. Bird loved her right away! We talked about her possibly sitting for an upcoming trip, which is huge for me because I’ve never felt comfortable leaving Bird with anyone before. Knowing she’s a vet tech gives me a ton of peace of mind too. So glad I found her!
