About: I have taken care of animals for almost 7 years! I am constantly around animals, and I love learning the needs and wants for each dog and/or cat. Every animal has their own little personality that makes them the best, and I want to learn what your animals need in order for them to thrive in my care. I am comfortable around all dog/cat breeds, and have experience taking care of a range of breeds. When I come to walk, spend time with, and take care of your animals, they are my first priority, and I will do everything in my power to make sure they feel loved and cared for. I understand that every dog or cat needs different things, and I am more than willing to adapt to meet you and your pet where you need me! I have a dog and cat of my own- a rescue Labradoodle named Beau, and a short-haired tabby named Kona! They mean the world to me, and I will treat your animal with the love and respect that I treat my own animal babies with! Skills: I have ample experience in treating dogs who require medication, as well as senior dogs who need some extra care and attention to ensure comfortability and happiness. I am happy to lightly groom your pet if needed. For any medical accomodations, just give me a heads up so that I can best take care of your doggie! I have had almost a lifetime of taking care of cats, and am not a stranger to the many different and cooky personalities they can have. I have experience with a range of kitties who vary from requiring a little more space to get comfortable, as well cats who are super extroverted and friendly from the get-go. I have experience in brushing and maintaining both short-haired and long-haired cats, nail clipping, litter box maintenance, teeth brushing, ear cleaning, giving oral medication, etc. I am currently working part-time, but I have a lot of flexibility and work mostly mornings and early afternoons. I am also a college student with a very accommodating schedule! I have a lot of free time during the days and evenings, so I am virtually always able to come check-in and spend time with your fur baby! I have 5+ years of experience in housesitting, so navigating new environments in nothing new to me. Whatever your dog/cat needs, I am willing and able. Cleaning up after animal accidents/tidying up after playtime are things that I love to do to ensure that you and your animal feel comfortable in your home!

About: I’m a pre-vet student with a strong passion for animals and experience caring for dogs, cats, horses, goats, and sheep. I’m comfortable working with different types of animals and understand that each has unique needs.I have experience volunteering at an animal shelter and caring for animals, and I always aim to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m responsible, patient, and attentive, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. I’m a student, but I have plenty of availability for pet care. I’m available all day Friday through Sunday, and on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 AM to 3 PM and 6 PM to 9 PM. I spend most of my time at home with my family, so I have a flexible schedule and can work with pet owners to find times that fit their pets’ needs. My priority is making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’m happy to care for pets in their own homes where they feel most comfortable, and I’ll always follow the owner’s instructions for feeding, routines, and special needs. I live with my family, so I would discuss any care arrangements in my home beforehand. As a pre-vet student, animal safety and well being are very important to me.

About: I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and am currently a proud pet papa to four dogs, one cat, and two guinea pigs—all rescues! Caring for animals with different personalities and needs has given me plenty of hands-on experience, patience, and an understanding of how important consistency and trust are. Whether your pet needs a walk, some playtime, or a little extra reassurance while you’re away, I’ll care for them with the same attention and affection I give my own. After making the decision to return to school as a non-traditional student, I have open availability with the exception of Mondays and Wednesdays, as though are the days I take classes. I can work with your schedule to accommodate you and your pets' needs. I do not offer pet care in my own home at this time, but my pets are truly part of the family and live in a loving, caring environment—if we have it, they have it! When caring for pets in a client’s home or taking them on walks, I will carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, routines, medications, safety, and house rules. I understand that every pet has unique needs and preferences, and I will treat each one with the same patience, respect, attention, and affection I give my own.

About: I’ve always had family pets. We’ve adopted several dogs, young and old, over the years. We currently do not have our own pets, but understand how important it is to feel relaxed when traveling, knowing your furry family is taken care of while away. I am self-employed and work from home. This allows me to be very accommodating when watching your pets and/or home. My wife is an RN and would be able to step in should my schedule not accommodate a particular situation. I prefer to watch your pets in their routine environment knowing it makes them less anxious while you’re away. Depending on your pet and their disposition, I could also allow them time in our home.

About: I have owned dogs most of my life from a Doberman pinscher to a chowchow to an Australian cattle dog and a couple cats throughout my life. I love animals! I no longer have our latest family Australian cattle dog who was with us for 17 years and miss being around animals. I am an independent contractor in real estate so I can set my own hours. I’m very flexible! I love to get out and walk a lot for exercise for myself as well! I give them lots of love and attention that they need. Play with them and make sure they’re happy, exercised, and well fed at their eating time

About: I’ve spent most of my life caring for dogs and have personally trained five dogs with different personalities, needs, and learning styles. Over the years, dogs have been much more than pets to me, they have been members of my family. That experience has given me a deep appreciation for how differently every dog communicates, learns, plays, relaxes, and builds trust. I’m especially passionate about canine behavior and body language. I pay close attention to the small signals dogs use to communicate how they’re feeling, whether they are excited, nervous, overstimulated, curious, playful, or simply in need of some quiet time. I believe good pet care starts with understanding the individual dog rather than expecting every dog to respond the same way. While I am not a certified dog trainer, I have substantial hands on experience with training, positive reinforcement, routines, boundaries, mental stimulation, and everyday dog care. I believe dogs thrive when they are given a healthy balance of affection, structure, exercise, enrichment, freedom, and clear expectations. My current dog, Charlie Girl, is a 2 year old Boxer/Hound mix with an incredibly happy and social personality. She has responded exceptionally well to training and has reinforced how much I enjoy working with dogs, learning from them, and helping them feel confident and secure. Caring for her every day includes walks, training, play, mental enrichment, affection, and plenty of time to relax and be part of the family. I also understand how much trust it takes to leave your dog in someone else’s care. My goal is to make that decision easier by treating every dog with patience, attentiveness, and respect for the routines and boundaries their family has established. I enjoy providing regular photos, videos, and updates because I believe clear communication helps owners feel connected and confident while they are away. Ultimately, I want every dog in my care to feel safe, understood, engaged, and genuinely welcomed. Seeing a dog relaxed, happy, and comfortable is something I find incredibly rewarding, and I want to provide that same peace of mind to every family I work with. Caring for dogs is already a central part of my daily life, and I am committed to making pet care a dedicated part of my work. My 2 year old Boxer/Hound mix, Charlie Girl, has a daily routine that includes walks, training, mental stimulation, play, affection, and plenty of time to relax and cuddle. I bring that same level of attention and involvement to the dogs entrusted to my care. Because I am intentionally dedicating my time to pet care, dogs staying with me are part of my day not something I simply fit in around a busy schedule. I enjoy being actively involved with them throughout the day through play, enrichment, positive reinforcement, companionship, outdoor time, and exercise. I believe daily walks are important for both physical exercise and mental stimulation, and when appropriate for the individual dog's age, health, routine, the weather, and their family's preferences, I aim to provide up to an hour of walking and outdoor exercise each day. I also know how difficult it can be to leave your dog with someone else. Communication is a major part of the service I provide, so I enjoy sending regular photos, videos, and updates throughout their stay. I would rather communicate too much than leave a family wondering how their dog is doing. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable second home where dogs can relax and enjoy themselves while their family is away not an environment that feels like being placed in a kennel. I have a comfortable home with a fully fenced yard where dogs have room to play, explore, enjoy supervised outdoor time, or simply relax. I take a calm, patient, and structured approach to caring for dogs. I believe dogs thrive with a healthy balance of affection, freedom, exercise, positive reinforcement, and clear rules and boundaries. Structure should help a dog feel secure and understand what is expected of them without taking away their opportunity to be a dog. Understanding canine behavior and body language is especially important to me. I pay attention to the smaller signals dogs use to communicate whether they are excited, uncertain, overstimulated, uncomfortable, ready to play, or simply in need of some quiet time. Every dog has its own personality, history, routine, and comfort level, and I believe good care starts with respecting those differences. Charlie Girl is a happy, social dog who genuinely enjoys connecting and playing with other dogs. Even so, I never assume that two dogs will immediately be comfortable together. Introductions and interactions are handled thoughtfully and supervised, with each dog's behavior and comfort level determining how quickly they progress. I also make it a priority to follow the routines and expectations established by each dog's family, including feeding schedules, sleeping arrangements, walking routines, training cues, boundaries, and other care instructions. Consistency can make being away from home much easier for a dog. Most importantly, I take the responsibility of caring for someone else's dog seriously. These animals are members of their families, just as the dogs throughout my life have been members of mine. I want owners to leave knowing their dog is being watched closely, treated with patience and respect, given meaningful attention and enrichment, and welcomed into a home where their safety and well being come first. Regular photos, videos, and checkins are part of that commitment so you never have to wonder how your dog is doing.

About: Since I was young I have always been surrounded by dogs. From puppies to seniors. Since I was the oldest of the family, the responsibility to care for the furry friends was mine. Daily. I have my own dog. She is a husky mix named Sarabi. I adopted her when I moved out of my parents home and had her since college. I currently live in a two bedroom duplex with my partner. There is a yard as well. The park is within walking distance and some local shops nearby are dog friendly.

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs for 25 years! I grew up walking and feeding my dog throughout childhood. I even rescued a dog of my own during college and managed his health conditions with medication for years before his passing. I have experience with young dogs and senior dogs who may additional needs. I also have experience with reactive dogs and love creating safe spaces to offer your pets chances to try their best. Throughout my life I have helped with dog walking and dog sitting, and loved it! I recently moved back to Sacramento and am looking for some doggos to brighten my day while I work remotely. I’d love to give you peace of mind that your pet is cared for and entertained! I currently work remotely and have immense flexibility with my schedule! I can schedule my breaks and lunch around dog walks and play time. I only go into the office Wednesday mornings, but my office is walking distance away from my home and I’m truly not gone for long. I have very clear and effective communication. I am confident I can assure you your pet will be taken care of like family! I’m open to having your pet come to my home and roam around. I don’t have anything in reach of a dog and can keep an eye on them at all times. Or I can crate them if that’s preferred. I also don’t mind going to your home if that’s easiest. I can work remotely from anywhere and keep your dog company. I also would not be multitasking when it came to performing dog duties. On walks and during play time, your pet would have my undivided attention. I take your pet and home’s safety very seriously.

About: I’ve always had a family dog ever since I was a kid. So I know how to play with them. But I didn’t start taking care of one as an adult until 2014. Ever since then, I fully understood the time, patience and responsibilities it requires to fully take care of a dog and its needs. I currently work fully remote at home. It’s not a super demanding job where I’m always on my computer so I have time throughout the day to check on, walk and play with your fur baby. I will treat your home as if it was my home. I’m a clean person and always put things back where they belong. If there happens to be an accident in your home, I will clean it up.

I'm almost always constantly available so I should be a-okay all day any day that your pet needs care! I can't wait to meet all of your sweet babies. I make sure to keep my house very clean and lock away anything that may be dangerous to your precious animals whether that may be a plastic kid's toy or a room that's too warm I will adjust whatever is needed to make you pet feel comfortable!
