“This will be the second time we used Zeniyah’s services for our dogs and it was another great experience. She communicated details about her visit, got them nice and tired, and sent me a bunch of photos. She’s our go-to sitter now 🙂”

“We feel lucky to have found Tyson! He was literally a life saver & walked our two medium sized doggies (one energetic puppy & one mellow senior) for the last three weeks, every day from Mon - Fri, 8am - 9am. He took our babies out walking around our neighborhood for at least 1.7-2+ miles each morning. Having Tyson walk our dogs was the best postpartum gift my husband & I got ourselves as we knew we wouldn’t have time to pay attention to our dogs as we took care of our first ever human baby, our newborn son who will be 3 weeks old tomorrow. Today was the last day Tyson walked our dogs, and we already know how much our dogs will miss him!! We highly recommend Tyson to anyone who wants a reliable, easygoing & warm person to walk their doggos & get their energy out. 10/10”

About: My experience is with the tougher cases. My dog Sammy Davis Jr was a one-eyed Boston terrier who developed bladder cancer, so I learned to give medicines. My other Boston, Nancy Sinatra, was dog-aggressive, so I got very good of taking care of her while protecting those around us (and her). My current dog is an elderly frenchie who is leash aggressive and has had back surgeries, so I know how to be very careful with these kind of conditions. So you have a special pet? I’ve done it! I work from home every day (east coast hours) in east Sacramento and I have a car. My schedule is flexible. I own my house and promise to treat your house like my own. My dog is leashed every second she’s outside, unless it’s the backyard. I’m paranoid like that. I also double wrap the leash around my arm or clip it to me. I never feed dogs people food. Chocolate and weed stays in the freezer. They are like little kids around food.

About: Your pets get the benefit of two caring, reliable sitters— meaning more eyes, more cuddles, and more peace of mind. Lifelong experience with dogs and cats from senior pets to high energy, pups and shy kittens-we know how to adjust our approach to each animals needs. Special skills: -Experience with oral and topical meds -Skilled and administering meds to dogs and cats -Basic training reinforcement (sit, stay, leash manners) -Behavior Observation: great at spotting, subtle changes in mood, appetite, or energy that could indicate health issues. - we tailor activities based on your pets energy level whether it’s fetch, tug-of-war, or a lap nap. We both work from home, which allows us to be present and attentive throughout the day. We’re able to give them consistent care and love without long gaps in attention. In your home: we are respectful, clean, and treat your space like our own. We maintain your pets daily routine and make sure they feel secure in their familiar surroundings. Whether it’s feeding, walks, medication, playtime, or just being a calm presence we’re all about providing consistency and care. We also keep an eye out for anything unusual and always keep you updated with photos, videos and check-in! In our Home: we treat every pet like part of the family! We live in a 2 bedroom apartment where we create a calm, cozy environment, with plenty of space to play, and feel at ease. We follow your pets routine as closely as possible— meal times, walks, meds, naps, and cuddle time included. Pets have access to safe, indoor spaces and supervised time outside and we always keep a clean, organize environment with their comfort and safety is top priorities.

About: Hi! I have many years of experience training dogs (both for hunting and basic training). I currently own a pitbull (93lbs) that is both dog and Kid aggressive. I am quite use to being ready for anything that can happen. Having a dog that is reactive to other animals has aided in learning control, composure, and distraction skills on walks. While providing a loving and safe environment for your animals I will also keep up with the training methods of your choice. I am comfortable with all forms of walking/training including choker, prong, or electric collar methods. I have experience with large and small dogs, and am trained to handle aggression because of my own animal. I have used River myself to find my own dog care, and have been working with my walker for over 2 years. I understand just how important it i to find someone you trust to take care of your fur babies! I currently have open availability and am able to walk your animal at any time of day! I myself do daily dog walks with my own animal and love being outside. I do not care for other animals in my own home. I am happy to care for animals in other peoples homes. I am comfortable giving medication (my dog has hyperthyroidism and is on daily timed medication), feeding, walking, training either indoor or outdoor. I will follow any preferences you have and give recommendations if needed!

About: While new to the Rover community, I have been caring for pets professionally for decades. I believe that pets are part of your family, and I treat them as if they are already part of mine! Whether your pup is brave or timid, a couch potato or an explorer, I will ensure they are in the best of hands while you are away. I work from home, so pets get lots of time and attention. I live near McKinley Park, so there are plenty of long and short walking options nearby. I have a fenced yard that keeps your pets safe. I have one dog of my own, a young Doodle who is a low key little muppet who just wants someone to chase him or watch TV together.

“Erin is prompt, reliable and trustworthy. My sometimes very anxious dog and Erin became fast friends...such a relief!! 10/10 would recommend.”

13. Suzanne R.
“Seriously the Best Dog Walker Ever (Star Can Vouch!) Okay, so I might not have a ton of pets myself right now, but trust me, I know a good dog person when I see one, and Suzanne is gold. Plus, my awesome Austrian Cattle Dog, Star, totally agrees – he practically has a fan club for her! You wanna know why? Let me tell you. I remember this one time – total nightmare scenario – Star, being the clever escape artist he is, managed to bolt out the front door. I was freaking OUT, running around the neighborhood yelling his name. Who shows up out of nowhere, calmly asking what he looks like? Suzanne! She dropped everything she was doing and helped me search. We were calling his name, whistling, and she even remembered I mentioned he loves squeaky toys and started making these ridiculous noises. Seriously, within like, twenty minutes, there was Star, trotting happily back to us like nothing happened, thanks to Suzanne's quick thinking and genuine care. And that's just one story! I've heard about her own dogs – Nancy with her "unique" personality, sweet Sammy she cared for until the very end, and her adorable Frenchie Bebe who gets the royal treatment. Suzanne just gets dogs. She's patient, responsible (trust me, after the Star incident, I drilled her on leash safety!), and you can tell she genuinely loves being around them. If you want someone who'll treat your dog like their own (and maybe even help you find them if they pull a Houdini!), Suzanne is your person. Star gives her four paws up!”

14. Sierra & Karinni D.
“What a great Team these two are! I have had Sierra here several times over the years. Not only does she take wonderful, loving care of my big doggies (Shakira 103 lbs and Rafi 85 lbs), but she also makes sure the house stays tidy and the doggies get plenty of TLC while we are away! On top of everything else they are just all around wonderful, trustworthy people! I highly recommend these gals!”

15. Jacquelyn T.
“Jacquelyn does an amazing job watching/training my Queensland Heeler and Husky mix. She is experienced with both smaller and larger breeds, which helped me tremendously with my Husky! Jacquelyn is very responsive and communicates with me during longer stays with my dogs.”

16. Jessica J.
“Jessica was an absolute gem of a dog sitter! From the moment she met my dog, her calm and gentle nature stood out—and my dog took to her right away, which said everything. It was clear they bonded instantly. When I was reunited with my pup, he was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. I felt totally at ease knowing he was in such good hands. Highly recommend Jessica to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and kind to care for their furry friend!”

17. Erin T.

“Erin is prompt, reliable and trustworthy. My sometimes very anxious dog and Erin became fast friends...such a relief!! 10/10 would recommend.”
