About: Hi! I have many years of experience training dogs (both for hunting and basic training). I currently own a pitbull (93lbs) that is both dog and Kid aggressive. I am quite use to being ready for anything that can happen. Having a dog that is reactive to other animals has aided in learning control, composure, and distraction skills on walks. While providing a loving and safe environment for your animals I will also keep up with the training methods of your choice. I am comfortable with all forms of walking/training including choker, prong, or electric collar methods. I have experience with large and small dogs, and am trained to handle aggression because of my own animal. I have used River myself to find my own dog care, and have been working with my walker for over 2 years. I understand just how important it i to find someone you trust to take care of your fur babies! I currently have open availability and am able to walk your animal at any time of day! I myself do daily dog walks with my own animal and love being outside. I do not care for other animals in my own home. I am happy to care for animals in other peoples homes. I am comfortable giving medication (my dog has hyperthyroidism and is on daily timed medication), feeding, walking, training either indoor or outdoor. I will follow any preferences you have and give recommendations if needed!

“Ashlynn was amazing with my boy Max. She got my boy the play and exercise he needed, whilst making sure he was safe and taken care of! Thank you again Ashlynn for being so amazing with my boy. Highly recommend and will be reaching out again for more walks!”

About: I've been raised around animals my whole life, taken care of many dogs and loved every single one of them. I have experience in stubborn animals, and adore playful ones too, all animals deserve love no matter age, shape or size and I'd love to give your pets some love! I'm currently working through veterinary school, I work from home and find the house is oddly quiet without some critters playing around. I'm free 24/7 365! I respect their boundaries, animals are no different than humans and they deserve to be respecte, if an animal does not want to be played with, pet, or be around me, I won't bother it outside of feeding and potty time. I like to stay gentle with pets because after all they are in a new place and I know I get nervous when I'm in a new place too! I'll make sure all your pets are safe, comfortable and happy in my care!

“I don’t know what we’d do without Hans! Probably never be able to leave town again! He’s wonderful with our leash reactive anxious mess, and we came home to a dog who heeled much better than when we left!”

About: I've had a dog for multiple years and my family has 2 more. I've always been around dogs and I've loved every single minute of it. I love big sized dogs and I have no problem to keep up with them. My schedule is very much open so I have plenty of time to play with your puppies! Just send me a message and we'll find a time to arrange a playdate, a walk, a run, a hike, or anything your doggo feels like doing. I have an apartment in a quiet area of the city and next to plenty of parks where dogs love to play. The area is also perfect for walks and meeting other furry friends

“Shay was very reliable - she walked my dog Beasely at 9 am and 4 pm for 6 days in a row. She sent me photos everytime she walked him. most important. Shay helped me when I had continuing problems with Rover.com's software, she helped me get the correct dog walking scheduled I needed, and to get rid of Rover.com's Repeat Weekly command. I was really disappointed that Rover.com does not have a CANCELLATION BUTTON TO remove schedules I wanted removed. -Pat G.”

About: "I've had dogs my entire life and love them deeply. While I don't have formal training with puppies, I have plenty of experience caring for senior dogs." I am a volleyball player at Sacramento State and will be a student in Beach volleyball season. I will have hours between class times to walk your furry friends :) I live in a secure, trusted apartment complex with heavy security and an outdoor play area perfect for dogs. I am very tidy and will make sure to pick up after your dogs:)

About: As a dog mom to three (a husky, a shepherd mix, and a chihuahua), I understand that every dog has their own needs—whether they’re high-energy runners or slow-moving seniors. I’m active and love staying on the move, but I also know when to slow down. Reliable, flexible, and caring. My schedule is pretty flexible! I don’t have set work hours, so happy to fit in dog walks and visits throughout my day + weekend. I would be glad to follow whatever instructions/schedule your dog is on! You can count on me to treat your home—and your pet—with the same care I give my own.

“Shannon is a awesome! My pup Luna loves to go out on walks with her when I have to work out of town!”

About: Lucky to have owned dogs for over 25 years. My love for canines only continues to grow! Have three, small well-trained dogs that will entertain your pup during a stay or a walk (but can accommodate dogs for solo walks as well) Roxy is 15 lbs; Suzy is 16 lbs; Griffin is 12 lbs - all are spayed/neutered and fully up on all vaccinations. We spend hours each week at River Bend Park and Lake Natoma. All of my dogs are "submissive" and get along great with other animals. Will always do a pre-sit meet-up to make sure the animals mesh for stays in my home. The first thing I think about when I wake up is where are the dogs going to get their exercise today. This level of love and care will be extended to your pooch! We live in a 3 bedroom duplex with a fenced yard. I work from home and bring my dogs for two solid walks daily. Our home is completely dog proofed for chewers and those who are not perfectly potty trained.

About: I’ve lived with dogs my entire life—and not just one or two, but many different kinds! From tiny, playful puppies to big, strong breeds like Bully Kuttas, I’ve had the joy of caring for them all. Dogs are truly family to me. I love playing with them, understanding their personalities, and making sure they feel safe, loved, and happy. For the past year before coming to the U.S. for college, I cared for six dogs at my home in India—taking full responsibility for their bathing, walking, feeding, and daily care. Being away from them now, I miss the wagging tails and joyful energy so much. That’s why I’m excited to connect with pups here through Rover and give them the same love and attention I gave my own. I’m currently a college student, but I have a flexible schedule—especially during evenings and weekends. I’m happy to work with your dog’s routine and make sure they’re well taken care of when you need it most. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. Having grown up around many dogs, I understand how important it is to create a calm, secure, and loving environment that helps them feel right at home—even when they’re away from their family. I treat every dog with patience, kindness, and respect. Whether your pup is shy, energetic, or a little nervous, I always approach them with care and compassion. I’m attentive to their body language, routines, and specific needs—whether that means sticking to a strict walking schedule or giving them space to warm up to me. I believe in clear communication with pet parents, so you’ll always be updated with how your dog is doing through messages and photos. You can trust that your furry friend is in safe, experienced hands with me.

From feeding and cleaning to ensuring each animal received personal attention, Alice went above and beyond in every aspect. We received regular updates and photos, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. Our pets clearly loved her, and it was wonderful to see each animal well-cared for and happy when we returned. The house was also left spotless! We highly recommend Alice to anyone needing a trustworthy, dependable sitter who truly loves animals.”
