About: I’ve had cats my whole life and currently care for two of my own, one is a senior at 9 years old, and the other is just under a year, so I understand the different needs pets can have at various stages of life. I scoop their litter boxes daily and will happily do the same for your cats to keep their space fresh and clean. I also have some experience administering medications, so I’m comfortable helping with basic care routines. I treat every pet with patience, respect, and genuine care, just like I do with my own. I’m currently in between jobs, which gives me plenty of flexibility and time to focus on caring for pets. I can easily adjust my schedule to meet your pet’s needs, whether that means early morning walks, midday check-ins, or overnight stays. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, and right now, I have the availability to give them the attention and care they deserve. When caring for pets in my home, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and part of the family. I have a fully fenced-in yard, which is great for supervised outdoor time, play, and potty breaks. Inside, I provide a calm, pet-friendly space with plenty of attention, snuggles, and routine. I stick to their regular feeding and exercise schedules as closely as possible to help them feel at ease. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and routines, keeping everything consistent to reduce stress for the animals. I provide regular updates, follow any specific instructions, and make sure their pets feel comfortable and cared for until you return.

“Ashley does a great job of walking our youngsters Rhodesian Ridgeback, and even feeds her and checks her water. Our Faith loves her walks with Ashley”

“I’m always nervous leaving my dog at a new place. And during the recent months we’ve been together pretty much 24/7! Persia made it so much easier. She took excellent care of Sadie, sent beautiful photos (she’s a pro!), and offered plenty of structured playtime and adventures! I will definitely work with her again.”

“Ashlynn was amazing with my boy Max. She got my boy the play and exercise he needed, whilst making sure he was safe and taken care of! Thank you again Ashlynn for being so amazing with my boy. Highly recommend and will be reaching out again for more walks!”

“Aichav took great care getting my little guy out for walks and sharing photos while I was out of town. So much that I’m using her again! Would definitely recommend :)”

About: I grew up in a pet-friendly house. My childhood dogs were our steadfast Doberman, Buck Thorn, and our hyper but loving Australian Shepherd, Shayneh -along with my cat, Pixel (who lived to be 24 years old!). From an early age I was tasked with walking and feeding our dogs, and cleaning up after them. Pixel was “my” cat because she truly imprinted on me and only chose to sleep in my bedroom - she even moved with me when I left my childhood home. When we adopted Shayneh as a puppy, I was the one who took the time to teach her commands and agility tricks even though I was only a kid. As an adult, my first order of business after buying my first house, was to adopt a dog. I found a one year old Border Collie Aussie mix that I instantly fell in love with. I named her Calliope, Callie for short. Callie was my nonstop companion for the next 13 years and she went from being a semi-wild stray from Eastern Oregon to being so well-trained and talented that people would always stop to ask me what I did to train her so well. After she passed, I filled the giant hole in my heart by pet-sitting and walking other people’s fur babies and over time, grew a pretty solid clientele of regulars, both dogs and cats. I am now back in my hometown of Sacramento and hoping to reestablish myself. I have a few dogs I care for regularly, as well as a steady stream of cats I provide drop-in care for. My specialty is dog-walking. I make sure energetic pups get long, fast-paced walks and take my time with elder and small dogs. I allow lots of time for sniffs and fully immerse the dogs in their neighborhood. I provide half-day dog adventures and hikes. I provide training to the dogs I walk to improve leash skills and encounters with other people and dogs. I am very intuitive and sensitive to dog behavior, and pride myself on being able to really communicate and connect with the animals in my care. I currently live in an apartment with my two cats so I am unable to board pets and rarely do overnight care anymore (although I make exceptions from time to time). I am known in my neighborhood as the lady with the two super cool cats because I am always out walking them in their own harness & leash and basically have trained them to be like dogs! I’m currently on a career sabbatical and have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. I have a few regular clients and another gig I work a couple nights but otherwise, I have a lot of availability I’m especially hoping to fill with dog walks! I have decades of experience and I’m a clear communicator. I make sure to gather the necessary information ahead of time to ensure your pets receive the best care.

About: I've been raised around animals my whole life, taken care of many dogs and loved every single one of them. I have experience in stubborn animals, and adore playful ones too, all animals deserve love no matter age, shape or size and I'd love to give your pets some love! I'm currently working through veterinary school, I work from home and find the house is oddly quiet without some critters playing around. I'm free 24/7 365! I respect their boundaries, animals are no different than humans and they deserve to be respecte, if an animal does not want to be played with, pet, or be around me, I won't bother it outside of feeding and potty time. I like to stay gentle with pets because after all they are in a new place and I know I get nervous when I'm in a new place too! I'll make sure all your pets are safe, comfortable and happy in my care!

About: Eight years ago my husband and I adopted our first dog, Foxy Cleo. At a year and a half old, she had been returned twice. It was our mission to show her love and affirmation - we knew we would be her final, true home. Unfortunately, she recently lost her battle to cancer which seemed to have happened overnight. We loved her so much, and she showed me the reward of caring for and loving her in return with that sweet face and wag of a tail. I'm so happy to have been her dad. Foxy was a healthy, active, happy dog - we'd play all the time, go on hikes, and runs at Curtis Park. I'm more than happy to help with your dog (or cat) when life gets in the way. I work from home, so I'm able to be very attentive to your loved one. I have a relatively flexible schedule and can quite often adapt as needed. We have a quarter of an acre yard that's fenced in for them to play in. When my dog was alive, we would play outside quite frequently. I also live close to Curtis Park, and she and I would go on long walks there a couple of times a week.

About: Hi! I’ve been looking after dogs for over 10 years and I currently have a small Yorkie poodle mix for almost 3 years. She’s super playful and grew up around all types of dogs that I’ve dog sat over the years so she’ll be great company for your dog! I also live in a very safe community with a lot of dogs so we like to take multiple dog walks throughout the day and we also have a large group of dogs that get together to play everyday if your dog is open to it! Let me know your preferences and we can work something out. I currently work mostly from home so we go on walks at least 3 times a day with one dog play session with other dogs in the afternoon. I try to be as accommodating as I can towards other dogs to make sure they can be as happy as they can be with me. I live in a very safe community with large grassy areas where dogs get together everyday and we also have a lot of local dog parks. My dog is free to roam our apartment but we can keep your dog in whichever environment you prefer.

“Abby has been a great walker for my little girl, Jacqui. She’s easy, friendly and reliable. I appreciate it a lot when she informs me right away if there will be any changes regarding the walk. I will very much continue using her services! Thanks Abby!!”

“Shay was very reliable - she walked my dog Beasely at 9 am and 4 pm for 6 days in a row. She sent me photos everytime she walked him. most important. Shay helped me when I had continuing problems with Rover.com's software, she helped me get the correct dog walking scheduled I needed, and to get rid of Rover.com's Repeat Weekly command. About: Growing up I had always wanted a dog, at the age of 7 I finally got her! Victory was her name and she was my personal victory. I remember how full my heart was every time she was around me. Such selfless creatures really I understand that every dog has it's own personality, which is the fun of it all. Sometimes you get to see the world through their eyes and realize that you just need to settle down and slow down most of the time. I was always told that "Happiness is a warm puppy" Young or old they still have that spunk towards them :) Needless to say I would take great care of your puppers Hope you enjoyed this read! Thank you I currently work 4am-12:30pm full time and have Thursday and Friday’s off, so if weekend trips are what you’re looking for I can help you I care for pets by following the instructions that would be given to me by the pet parent and if I have any questions I’m not afraid to ask.

Jessica B.
“Jessica has been a close friend for over 12 years. Whenever I need someone to look after and care for my pet, Jessica is more than reliable and capable with Gordon. She is the first person I think of to trust with my cat, Gordon. She has a glowing personality and cats of her own, Archie and Theo, that will always come up in conversation and even though Archie is a bit feisty, she has unbelievable patience with him. Whenever I've asked her to care for my cat while I'm gone, she's spent time with him, given him his medicine, fed him, and above all, spend time with him (as my cat can get particularly lonely). Jessica enjoys learning about animals as well as spending her time with them. Jessica has a happy-go-lucky soul, she is sensitive, intelligent, and resilient. She's perfect for animals She would be a perfect fit and a wonderful representation for your organization.”
