Looking forward to meeting you and your puppers! At the moment I am not working but looking for a job and will be starting school on January 17. My school hours are Tuesdays and Wednesdays 5pm-10pm, Fridays 10am-3pm and Saturdays 9am-12pm. I care for pets exactly as the parents would like me to. I am patients with them as well as playful and try to stick to schedules and rules the parents have set in order to not create confusion.

About: What sets us apart is our years of hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes—from German Shepherds to Yorkies. As a team, we provide double the care, attention, and love, treating every pet like part of our own family. Pet care fits naturally into our daily and weekly lives. Both Alan and I (Kimberly) work part-time and manage our own schedules, which gives us the flexibility to prioritize the pets we care for. Because we’re not tied to a 9–5 routine, we’re able to adjust our days around pet visits, walks, and overnight care. Caring for animals isn’t just something we fit in—it’s something we genuinely enjoy, and we’ve built our lifestyle to make room for it. We love the balance of spending quality time with pets while also being available and reliable for their families. When caring for pets in a client’s home, we make sure to follow the routines that pets are used to—whether that’s regular feeding times, walks, play, or just quiet companionship. We know how important consistency is, so we give attention to the details that help pets feel safe and comfortable in their own environment. For walks, we keep them enjoyable and safe, tailoring the pace and length to each pet’s needs. We’re also mindful of things like weather, paw safety, and any special instructions from the owner. At home, we already care for our two dogs, Sugar and Kandy, so we understand firsthand the love and attention pets need every day. That experience translates into the same care we provide for others’ pets, treating them as if they were our own.
“Cory was super professional and very friendly. I have a senior dog and Cory made me feel secure that he is capable of taking the time with him that he needs while also letting him get out his energy. Was also very good with communication and setting days and time before hand which helps tremendously with scheduling. Highly recommend reaching out.”

About: My wife is a certified animal behavior consultant, master groomer. and trade instructor. I have many years experience working alongside her with client dogs, and her students. I am comfortable working with most breeds of dogs, cats, and other types of pets. I am also able to administer medication and have experience with senior care, and fearful animals. I am currently working part time, this means I have plenty of availability to care for your precious pets. I have experience with teaching dogs to love water play and how to exercise safely on a treadmill, for those intrested as a substitute on those hot summers days where walks aren't suggested. I am comfortable adapting to what ever your animals specific schedule and needs are. Keeping your pets comfortable in their own surroundings, by keeping things as normal as possible while you are away, is always my top priority.

“We’ve got an 80lb beefy terrier who is a sucker for some TLC and Ashley was great in delivering! She even offered some great recommendations for some issues that we’ve been having with our dog. :) We’ve already booked her as a “regular” for our fur baby. We’re sooooooo glad that we found her!!”

About: I've had dogs my whole life and I currently have two large (70+ lb) dogs. I grew up with small to medium dogs and before my current pups, I dog/cat sat all manner of dogs and cats from friends and family. I am very detail oriented and attentive when providing care for pets and have a calming presence that pets quickly grow fond of. I have experience with crate training, leash training and giving oral and topical medication. I have created extensive care documents for my own dogs and am happy to follow as many instructions for your pets' care. I'm currently unemployed so I have immense flexibility throughout the weekdays and weekends. I have availability to check in on, walk and house sit your pets. I'm happy to visit your pets and help with feeding, walking or any other specific care you need while you're away. I really enjoy playing with dogs as well and especially if they like fetch! I love to throw and unfortunately my dogs don't have a taste for that so I'm happy to keep your dog exercised. I also like to go on really long walks and sometimes run with dogs if your dog needs more exercise. Otherwise, I'm happy to cozy up with your pet and I can even stay overnight if needed.
“Lee is the best! He's been walking our dog, Banjo, a few times a week for the past year, and Banjo just adores him. Lee's always on time and reliable, and he always makes sure Banjo gets plenty of exercise on their walks.”

“I don’t know what we’d do without Hans! Probably never be able to leave town again! He’s wonderful with our leash reactive anxious mess, and we came home to a dog who heeled much better than when we left!”

“Michelle is very easy to work with and communicative. She immediately connected with our dog! Our dog loves walking with her so much! And I love getting the notes and pictures she sends! :)”

Avondale dog parents share their Rover experiences
Bailee is awesome! She walked Bird twice this week and was super kind, communicative, and easy to work with. Bird loved her right away! We talked about her possibly sitting for an upcoming trip, which is huge for me because I’ve never felt comfortable leaving Bird with anyone before. Knowing she’s a vet tech gives me a ton of peace of mind too. So glad I found her!
