“I cannot say enough good things about my experience. Leaving Atlas for a full week was a huge step for me. He is a rescue dog who has experienced trauma, and this was the very first time I had left him with someone since adopting him two years ago. From the moment I dropped him off, she understood exactly what he needed. Rather than pushing interaction, she gave Atlas the space and time to come to her on his own terms while he adjusted to a new environment. That patience and understanding meant so much to me. Throughout his stay, she sent frequent updates and pictures, which gave me tremendous peace of mind. She was always quick to respond whenever I reached out and made sure all of my instructions were followed carefully. If anything wasn’t clear, she asked questions rather than making assumptions. Most importantly, she treated Atlas like family. He received plenty of snuggles, attention, and playtime; including one of his favorite activities, fetch. It was obvious that she genuinely cared about his comfort and happiness. She went above and beyond to make both Atlas and me feel comfortable, and I am so grateful for the care she provided. The biggest sign of how well she cared for him came when I picked him up. Atlas was incredibly excited to see me, but after greeting me he ran back over to her for one last snuggle before we left. As his mom, that told me everything I needed to know about how safe, loved, and comfortable he felt during his stay. “Katherine was a fantastic sitter for our senior pup Amara and I would happily be a return customer! She was available to accommodate Amara super last minute, which was life saving, and she really understood the needs of a senior doggo with a particular personality. She was very thorough, even communicating which vet she would use in case of emergency (don’t worry, no emergencies occurred!). They had a great time hanging out in her back yard, going on strolls and snuggling on the couch. Amara was a very happy girl at the end of her stay and I would definitely recommend Katherine as a Rover sitter!”

I grew up with small to medium dogs and before my current pups, I dog/cat sat all manner of dogs and cats from friends and family. I am very detail oriented and attentive when providing care for pets in addition to have a calming presence that pets quickly grow fond of. I have experience with crate training, leash training and giving oral and topical medication. I have created extensive care documents for my own dogs and am happy to follow as many instructions for your pets. I have immense flexibility to check in on, walk and house sit your pets throughout the weekdays currently and for weekends, I would review requests on a case by case basis. I'm happy to visit your pets and help with feeding, walking or any other specific care you need while you're away. I really enjoy playing with dogs, especially if they like fetch! I enjoy really long walks and can even run with your dogs if your dog needs more exercise. Otherwise, I'm happy to cozy up with your pet and I can even stay overnight if needed.

I would be honored to care for your fur baby! I currently work remotely on Mondays and Fridays, so I have very flexible availability those days so I can fit your pup’s needs. I work Tuesday through Thursday from 8am to 4:30pm, but am fully available afterwards. I have a large fenced backyard with plenty of space for your pup to run around if needed. I am happy to board, so long as your pet is comfortable staying in the yard. We have rabbits in the home, so unfortunately we cannot have dogs indoors.

About: I’ve had dogs for as long as I can remember. I love to train my own or take them on peaceful nature walk. I have senior pups of my own and younger energetic pup as well. About: Growing up I had always wanted a dog, at the age of 7 I finally got her! Victory was her name and she was my personal victory. I remember how full my heart was every time she was around me. Such selfless creatures really I understand that every dog has it's own personality, which is the fun of it all. He is a rescue dog who has experienced trauma, and this was the very first time I had left him with someone since adopting him two years ago. She was available to accommodate Amara super last minute, which was life saving, and she really understood the needs of a senior doggo with a particular personality.
