“Ana was awesome! She was really positive and asked a bunch of questions to make sure she knew everything she needed to know to take care of our XL puppy. She was super flexible and willing to work with us and kept us well-updated while we were away. We'll definitely reach out to her again the next time we have to travel!”

“I continue to recommend Audrey as one of her repeat customers! Excellent with my American Bully who is skittish and scared when outside. Audrey knows what she's doing and has a great manner with my pup!”

“Erika did a phenomenal job checking in on my pup while I was out of town for the weekend. She was very professional, punctual and left detailed summaries on the rover card. I am very picky with who watches my dog and I will definitely be booking Erika again !”

“We love having Doh pet sit for our cat, Mingus! She is great with him and sent daily updates with cute photos! I know Mingus is safe and comfortable with Doh while we are away.”
“Our rescue dog is always fearful of meeting new people but Bethany was so great the first time they met and he warmed up to her so quickly that by the end of the visit he was letting her give him lots of pets and showing her his belly. She clearly knows what she’s doing with dogs and meets dogs where they’re at!”
“Davina was great with our animals while we were out of town. The updates for each visit with photos were reassuring that our fur babies were doing well. Would definitely recommend Davina to other people and would 100% use her in the future if needed.”

About: Growing up with dogs and cats, I have developed a lifelong love for animals, and this passion fuels my dedication to their care. While I am knowledgeable in caring for puppies to adult dogs, including basic training and behavior, I understand that each pet is unique. That's why I can provide personalized care tailored to their specific needs. I’m familiar with handling a variety of breeds and temperaments, ensuring your pets are in good hands. My flexible scheduling options are designed to fit your busy lifestyle, whether it’s for a spontaneous trip or a regular walking routine. You’ll also receive daily updates and photos, giving you peace of mind knowing your pets are happy and well cared for. I offer short visits in Sacramento, Rancho Cordova, Florin, and surrounding areas. Share your detailed care instructions with me, and I’ll do my best to provide the best care for your pets. Summer Policy: For your pet’s safety, I will not offer walks between 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. on days when temperatures exceed 77°F. Instead, I will provide potty breaks and indoor or shaded outdoor play to keep your pets safe and cool. Your pet's well-being is my top priority, and I appreciate your understanding. For dogs, I recommend scheduling 2–3 visits per day based on their needs and comfort level. For cats, we suggest 1–2 visits daily. As a part-time worker in addition to Rover, which provides a flexible schedule. I'll do my best to accommodate both the pets and owners needs. I prioritize safety and trust by creating a pet-friendly environment with secure spaces, constant supervision, and routine care. Whether in my home or yours, pets are treated like family.
“Martha did an excellent job caring for our two cats. This was the longest we had been away but the photos and daily updates definitely put our minds at ease. Our cats clearly felt comfortable with Martha and she even got our shy cat Jefferson to come out of hiding!”

About: Hello there! I am a dog groomer here in Sacramento. We've had dogs and cats in my family since I was young, and I've always taken care of them with a lot of love. I worked at a doggy daycare for 1.5 years and i loved spending time, teaching basic commands and playing with all different kinds of pups! I also help my friends with their dogs, and I even can help with grooming or some simple training. I can do visits to feed and take care pets during the day, and overnights and stays for dogs and cats who needed lots of company! Not available early mornings. I can do overnights too and I can exercise with your pup! (Runs, long walks and hikes). Happy to help as much as i can :) I make sure that the pets have always clean water, food, and clean litters/spaces. I follow the instructions of the owners, i give the pets all they need, and I ensure they are having a wonderful time! I also think communication is so important between petsitter and the owner, so do not worry! I will be sharing pictures and videos all the time!
About: I grew up always having dogs, ranging from Cocker Spaniels, Chihuahuas to Boxers! I'm aquainted with all needs. I'm happy to walk, feed and bath! I'm currently working part time, so I have loads of free time to help with any pooches that struggle with anxiety and need long walks. I live in a safe and quiet apartment just across the road from Sac State! The arboretum is very close as well as a park
“As a first-time user of Rover, we’re lucky to have found Aicha- she is compassionate, professional, educated, and communicative- all the attributes of someone you’d hope for to look after your beloved fur baby. For my initial drop-in visit, she was quick to respond and eager to adjust to our needs as new puppy parents. Her willingness to schedule a meet and greet prior to the 1st visit allowed us the opportunity to build rapport with Ube and show her the ropes before the first session. During her drop-ins, she sends real-time updates/pictures and asks for clarification of house rules giving us reassurance that she respects our home and reinforces habits we try to impart for our pup. Moving to Sacramento with few friends/family, she has been a huge support for my husband and I who both work long hours.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for family and friends for the last 4 years until I got a dog of my own. My dog is my world so I know all the emotions that dog owners experience with finding someone who they trust with their pet. I feel very honored that you choose me with your pet. I am patient, kind, and provide lots of love (belly rubs, head scratches if needed). I go on daily walks/runs/play time with my dog and I like to stay active. I work from home a few days a week and can accommodate to your request with prior notice. I make my own work schedule and if needed can step away during the day to go on walks. Im fully available afternoon and weekends. I have a fenced patio and both regular crate and traveling crate at home if needed. I do have a fur baby at home who loves to have company over and is calm.
About: I’m a fun and active dog dad to a 8 year old boxer mix who has loads of energy and would love to host your pup. Being a dog dad, I can really relate to anyone who may have to drop their pup off for the day(s) and wants pictures/updates. You can expect constant communication during their stay. I've watched dogs for my friends for over 5 years and have enjoyed every second of it. Some of these dogs have had medical conditions so I am used to administering medication and working with your dog's needs. I’m currently working from home so I have pretty open availability thru the day. I can be very flexible with timing, whether it’s early in the morning or later in the evening. My dog hangs out on the spare bed in my office/guest bedroom while I work during the day. We play, go on walks, and go to the park on work breaks. My pup has tons of energy so I typically take him to the park to run around a couple times a day. I’d be more than happy to take your dog out to the park with him as well to play or on a walk to tire them out.
