About: -Kennel walker and care provider for 2 years -K9 School Dog trainer apprenticeship program -Several years of dog walking experience -Experience with Large Dog breed and care I have a now 1 year old Corgi and a very talkative and loving 6 year old Husky, I’ve always had a passion for dogs and am looking to work with them as much as I can. Currently I have a backyard and I love to have hands on play time with my current pets. I like to spend lots of one on one time with my own dog and love to do so with others. I love meeting new dogs to see new personalities, I try to make sure that every dog feels safe, comfortable and just as happy as I am to meet them and care for them.

“Ashley left detailed notes about her visits with Claudine, which I very mich appreciated. Based on the photos, Claudine was always elated to see her, which makes me very happy. Claudine is a rescue, so she can be skiddish and anxious with new changes/new people, so I felt sooooo much better seeing Claudine so happy in Ashley's company. Ashley was also gracious to accommodate me as a last minute booking. I highly recommend!!”

“Whitney was willing to check in on my new puppy, Ollie, after having him for only one night and not a lot of information on his temperament. Whitney communicated quickly and kindly, which I very much appreciate. As a first time Rover user, it's a little unnerving having someone come over whom I never met, but Whitney completely put me at ease. She provided pictures of Ollie having fun with bubbles in the back and gave him a report card for me to look at. I'm definitely going to ask Whitney to return soon!”

“Leah is so kind and understanding. From the first time meeting her, she made us feel comfortable and confident in her helping with our two very large and sometimes chaotic dogs. She listened to our concerns, their quirks, and all the information we threw at her. Finding her has been a huge relief knowing we have her to help us out when needed. She is the best!”

About: I’ve taken care of a lot of dogs ever since I was young. From pet sitting, as well as owning my own. I have two Rottweilers that are my favorite ever! I think dogs are one of the best companions a person can have, and overall I love spending time with animals! I include a bunch of add ons. Baths, Nail trims, brushing, adventure walks! I have open availability as of right now! So I’m open to whatever schedule is needed to make sure your dog is taken care of in the best way possible! Whether it's in my home or a client's home, I ensure their daily routines are maintained, offer plenty of playtime, exercise, and cuddles, and monitor their health and well-being. I also follow any special instructions for feeding, medication, or behavior management. For pet sitting in a client's home, I make sure to keep the environment familiar and stress-free, while offering updates and photos to keep owners informed. My priority is always the happiness and safety of your pet!

About: I’ve spent years around all kinds of dogs—big, small, playful, shy—you name it! I’ve also helped out with cat sitting for an elderly neighbor, so I’m used to different pet personalities and needs. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or cleanup, I’m on it. I really care about making sure your pet feels safe, happy, and comfortable while you’re away. My goal is to make them feel like they’re hanging out with a new friend, not just a sitter. Right now, I’m not working and I’m off from school for the summer, which means I’ve got a super flexible schedule. Whether you need someone in the morning, afternoon, or evening—I’m available whenever your pet needs me! When I’m in your home, my goal is to keep things calm, clean, and comfy for your pet. I’m happy to tidy up (with your permission), make sure your furry friend has a cozy spot to relax, and of course, take care of any walks, bathroom breaks, or cleanup. I want your pet to feel totally at ease in their own space while you’re away.

“Emma was awesome with Charlie! She followed the care instructions to a T and did a great job. Charlie loved meeting Emma and spending time with her. 10/10!!!”

About: I love spending time with all pets and often watch pets for close friends and families when they are unable to. I have built trust with these families and their pets come back happier each time! Recently, I have graduated from high school and am on summer vacation before college. I have all the time in the world to put towards caring for your sweet pets! I have a fenced in yard and two small dogs that would love to play with yours once they open up! I also have all kinds of toys and treats that your pet will love!

“Jenna was great for checking in on my pup while I was at work! She took lots of photos and a video of their time at the park. It’s easy to tell she genuinely enjoys taking care of pets and spending time with them. I’ll definitely continue having her take care of my pets!”

About: Hello there! My name is Josh, and I’m an enthusiastic dog caretaker who would love the chance to take care of your dog. At first glance, you might be unsure if this guy who looks like a pirate can reliably care for your furry friend. Rest assured, I am dedicated to meeting your dog’s needs in a safe and fun environment. I will ensure that your dog feels loved and happy. I prioritize open communication with pet owners to build trust. A little background about me: I currently have a rare brain tumor that makes it difficult for me to hold a regular job. The tumor is stable and only affects my vision in my left eye. I hope that with treatment, I will soon overcome this health challenge so I can return to school to become an MRI technician. In the meantime, I’m happy to work with Rover to save up for that goal. Taking care of your pets would mean a lot to me and would help me progress toward my aspirations. I promise to go above and beyond in my service to show my appreciation. I also have a well-behaved Belgian Malinois named Nezuko, who gets along with all dogs. If you’d like, we can arrange a meet-and-greet beforehand—I’d be happy to do so. If you'd like to see my pup, you can check out her Instagram: @just_nezuko_ig. Thank you for reading, and I hope to meet you and your furry friend soon! I am on permanent disability so i am available at all times. I am still very active and I walk my own dog 3-4 miles a day. I have a huge park across the street that I take my dog to every day. If your dog is not good off-leash, I have a 50 ft leash they can use if they have a compatible vest. My dog is very friendly and loves playing with other dogs. She does get very excited when she sees new dogs and people, but I've never seen her be aggressive with any dog or person.

“Madhurima was amazing! I felt so at ease knowing she would be there to take care of our kitties! She kept me updated each day and sent lots of pictures. I’m hoping we can book with her in the future!”

“Amazing. Thank you for watching our dogs and all of the pictures throughput the weekend. It really made us at ease about leaving them knowing they were in such good hands.”

About: Hey there! While I’m new to Rover, I’m definitely not new to caring for dogs. I’m a proud dog mom to my sweet girl, Hlub, and I know just how much love, attention, and care our pups need (and deserve!). I treat every dog like family—with patience, playtime, and all the love they need to feel safe and happy. I might not have a list of Rover reviews yet, but I make up for that with genuine care, strong attention to detail, and a huge heart for animals. I’ll follow your dog’s routine exactly, send you lots of updates, and make sure your pup gets all the cuddles, walks, and play they need while you’re away. I’d be honored to earn your trust and your dog’s tail wags! Pet care is a natural part of my daily life because I have a dog of my own—my sweet girl, Lu. Every day revolves around making sure she’s happy, healthy, and loved, whether that’s morning walks, playtime, feeding her on schedule, or just relaxing together. I genuinely enjoy being around dogs, and making them feel safe and cared for is something I do with joy, not obligation. I have the flexibility to include pet care into my routine, and I always plan my days with my dog’s needs in mind—so doing the same for your pup would feel like second nature to me! Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, my approach is all about making them feel safe, loved, and comfortable—just like they would with you. In my home, I keep a clean, cozy, and pet-friendly space where your dog will get lots of love, playtime, and structure. I stick to their usual routines (like feeding times, walk schedules, and any special instructions) so they feel right at home. I also make sure they have plenty of room to relax and play, and of course—lots of cuddles if they want them! In your home, I’m super respectful of your space and routines. I’ll follow all your instructions closely—whether that’s medication, feeding, crate time, or just how your pup likes to be greeted. I’ll also keep you updated regularly so you always know how your fur baby is doing. No matter where I’m caring for your pet, their comfort, safety, and happiness are my top priorities! *There’s a trail and pond right nearby so we are always enjoying plenty of walks outside.

“Ashley was such a pleasure to work with! I was so happy to receive 2 photos of their visit together while I was away. I look forward to working with her again.”

About: I have always loved animals. My mom loves to tell the story about when I was young, and playing soccer, and ran off the field to pet a dog instead of playing the game. I grew up with a special needs dog and am no stranger to having to do things out of ordinary for our pets. Growing up, I was often called on by neighbors to watch their pets when they were away, but even as an adult, I have the pleasure of watching our friend's pets while they are away too. From walking, to bathing, to adhering to strict diets or cleaning regiments, I've been through it all. I am currently a Graduate Student at CSUS, and aside from having to attend classes a couple times a week, most of my time will be spent at your home, allowing me to be around your pet most of the time, making sure they are happy and healthy. Unfortunately I will not be able to have pets come to our home, however, I will do my best to make sure any pet I take care of gets everything they need. This is not just water and food. This is ample play time, walks, scratches, affection, attention, and even snuggles should the pet want that. I treat every pet like my own and give them the best care I can, because, simply put, I love animals. They deserve our best because they give us their best.

“Matt is great with dogs. He has two himself and he cares for them wonderfully. They are very well-behaved and fun-loving little beasts and they get along with my dog whenever I bring him over to Matt's house. My dog is always so excited when we pull up at Matt's and can barely contain his excitement when the car door opens and he bursts out running toward his front door. I have to travel often for work and every time I pick up my dog from Matt's, you can tell he's had a great time. I highly recommend Matt as a responsible and loving pet caregiver.”
