About: I'm a patient and dependable caregiver who understands that every cat has their own personality, boundaries, and routine. I'm comfortable with feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes, cleaning other messes, playtime, and simply keeping a cat company while their person is away. I know some cats want constant attention while others prefer their space, and I'm happy to let each cat set the pace. As an educator with a bachelor's degree in Child and Adolescent Development, I'm used to being responsible, observant, and attentive to individual needs. I also understand how important it is to have someone you can genuinely trust in your home and caring for your pet. I've had many pets of my own over the years, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can genuinely trust to care for your pet and your home while you're away. While I'm not able to have a cat of my own right now, I would love the opportunity to give that same care, attention, and affection to yours. I look forward to getting to know your pet, making them feel comfortable and loved, and caring for them as if they were my own. 😺

“Although ours cats are shy around new people, they didn’t take long to approach Rebecca. She kept them engaged with play while managing their care during her drop-in visits.”

“Jenna was great for checking in on my pup while I was at work! She took lots of photos and a video of their time at the park. It’s easy to tell she genuinely enjoys taking care of pets and spending time with them. I’ll definitely continue having her take care of my pets!”

I love meeting new dogs to see new personalities, I try to make sure that every dog feels safe, comfortable and just as happy as I am to meet them and care for them.
“had a great experience working with Shang over a two week period. She walked and fed my dogs with so much care and reliability. I even had an “oops” moment where I mistakenly thought a day was booked when it wasn’t, and she was incredibly gracious and understanding when I reached out. Once we sorted out my mistake, she confirmed the remaining days and everything went smoothly. I truly appreciate her professionalism, kindness, and flexibility. I would definitely use her again and highly recommend her!”

“From the very first visit, I knew my four cats were in the best hands. Anita has this incredible way of putting you at ease; she jumped right in, effortlessly managing their individual diets and medications. It was amazing to see my usually shy cats instantly warm up to her! The daily updates and photos were the highlight of my day, and her communication is top-notch. It’s rare to find someone so genuinely dedicated to providing such loving care. Anita is officially my go-to sitter!”

“Sarah provided drop-in visits for our cat, and she did an outstanding job!! She took so many extra efforts to make sure our girl was comfortable, even though our cat is very shy, and hard to coax into doing anything. She also left our place very clean! Thank you so much Sarah!!”
“Shelby was fantastic! I was wary of the whole process and trusting a stranger with my cat, but she made me feel completely at ease. I knew right away that she cares as much about her animals as I do, and would treat mine like her own. She took great care of my cat, gave him all his food, medicine and attention, and left my house looking immaculate! I will definitely ask her to come back.”

“Markita made our first Rover booking the easiest decision ever. We were nervous leaving Freddie and Charlie alone with a “stranger” for 12 days - this was the longest we’ve been away from them. Markita gave us the peace of mind we needed to relax on our trip. She was responsive and went the extra mile with everything. Most of all, she bonded with the boys which was really special. Thanks Markita for taking care of our boys and our home! We know exactly who to call on to take care of them for our next trip. ❤️🐱”

“We’re so grateful to Kelcya “Kacey” & Elizabeth B.! They took such sweet care of our kitten while we were away—making sure his food and water bowls were full, his litter box was clean, and most importantly, giving him plenty of love and playtime. He was clearly well cared for! Thank you both so much! 💛🐾”
“Mindi did such a wonderful job of making sure my cat was well-cared for while I was gone. He gets really anxious when I’m away, and I could tell that she did a great job playing with him because he was calmer than normal once I came back. She also made sure he had water and a clean litter box everyday. I really recommend Mindi if you’re looking for someone to take care of your pet!”

“So happy I had Erin check in on my two cats while we were gone for the long weekend. I loved receiving the visit updates and photos. Erin is very reliable and great with communication. Highly recommend booking her!”

About: Hello there! My name is Josh, and I’m an enthusiastic dog caretaker who would love the chance to take care of your dog. At first glance, you might be unsure if this guy who looks like a pirate can reliably care for your furry friend. Rest assured, I am dedicated to meeting your dog’s needs in a safe and fun environment. I will ensure that your dog feels loved and happy. I prioritize open communication with pet owners to build trust. A little background about me: I currently have a rare brain tumor that makes it difficult for me to hold a regular job. The tumor is stable and only affects my vision in my left eye. I hope that with treatment, I will soon overcome this health challenge so I can return to school to become an MRI technician. In the meantime, I’m happy to work with Rover to save up for that goal. Taking care of your pets would mean a lot to me and would help me progress toward my aspirations. I promise to go above and beyond in my service to show my appreciation. I also have a well-behaved Belgian Malinois named Nezuko, who gets along with most dogs (check out the pictures) she really likes small dogs as she grew up with a Maltese and learned to play gentle with them, and she still loves her bigs dogs as her best friend is a massive Cane Corso who was the genlte giant that taught her how to play when she was growing up. I do Meet ups ar Natomas Meadows Park and the have dogs meet in an open and safe environment. When sitting they will have have beds to lay on, chicken feet or bones to chew on and relax and we will be watching anime most likely all day with walks and park visits in between. As I stated I am disabled so I consider this my full time job and I do my best to make sure your dogs feel cared for while they are stay with me. I am somewhat new to Rover but I've pet sitted alot over the years so feel free to ask any questions (Note: if there is a day I am not available please send me a message. Especially if I've worked with your dog before and I'll try and work something out) Thank you for reading, and I hope to meet you and your furry friend soon! I am on permanent disability so i am available at all times. I am still very active and I walk my own dog 3-4 miles a day. I have a huge park across the street that I take my dog to every day. If your dog is not good off-leash, I have a 50 ft leash they can use if they have a compatible vest. My dog is very friendly and loves playing with other dogs. She does get very excited when she sees new dogs and people, but I've never seen her be aggressive with any dog or person.
“It’s been 6 months last time my fur-child visited Martha. His reacquaintance with Martha & her family went smoothly! I received a comforting video of him playing with Misty and pictures during his stay. Happy to have found Martha!!”

About: I may not have dogs of my own but I sure do love being around them. Before moving I use to volunteer at an animal shelter and I loved it there just to see how dogs were able to have at least a couple of minutes of happiness from pups to seniors. I also foster kitties and have two of my own! I am currently attending nursing school, so can’t fit a full time job into my schedule. This is the best option because it’s something I love and I can still complete my studies! I would first build trust with the animal ensuring they are not frightened by me. Aside from that I love for the owners to tell me more about their pet to allow me to best adjust my skills to accommodate the pet.

“Miya was very kind with Kono. He is very active for a near 2 year old, and she kept up with his energy. She modified her care plan to suit his needs, more walks and play - she learned of his obsession with balls. He inherited the traits of a working dog in a small package, and he definitely worked Miya. Thanks for being patient and caring for my furbaby.”

“My dogs came back super happy and tired from Marc’s. I needed someone quick and he was very accommodating. My dogs had fun with Marc and his dog Odin. We will definitely be using him in the future.”

“I felt so comfortable leaving our cheyanne in jans care. Everything about this first time experience using a doggie daycare was absolutely wonderful. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for taking such great care of our family during a time of need!”

“Tanzina was great with Cooper and kept me updated throughout the day! He has anxiety and she was very understanding of it even as it took time for him to acclimate to her place.”
About: I grew up with dogs, cats, birds, rabbits etc. I believe animals come into our lives to make it better and to give us unconditional love. I have trained all my puppies as well as cared for my parents elderly Bullmastiff. I am very sensitive to the needs of pets and can feel when something is wrong. My schedule is open Monday - Sunday, I am a stay at home fur mom and I can not wait to meet your fur baby. All of my cats and dogs are indoor. I believe that is the safest way to keep them healthy and protected. However, if your fur baby is outside I will make sure all gates, doors are closed, locked and secure!

We have a really anxious dog but he settled in fairly quickly and had a playmate with Amanda’s daughter. In fact when picking Simon up, her daughter was carrying Simon … it was so sweet. Definitely wouldn’t hesitate to go back to Amanda.”

About: I have been a pet owner for virtually my entire life! Cats, dogs, rabbits and even a bird! My partner and I recently lost our beloved Jack Russell Terrier “Terrie” after 14 wonderful years. While regular travel commitments make it difficult to adopt another companion of our own at this time, we would love the opportunity to care for your “best fur-iend” when we are home! My partner and I both work from home, so, rest assured, someone will always be there with your pet for playtime, potty breaks and walks. I have a fenced yard in a quiet neighborhood. The house is of a decent size and currently we are without a full-time pet of our own. Your pet will enjoy being the center of attention!
“Matt gave outstanding care and attention to my dog. Thorough in his updates and careful to follow my requested care instructions. His pet dog was easy for mine to get along with.”

About: Senior care of my Luna dog with kidney failure and five years volunteering at Front Street Animal Shelter. My dog Sugar is a foster fail. I Iprovide pet care for my two dogs on a daily basis and will provide are for the dogs I watch according to owners instructions. I want my clients dog to feel as comfortable as they do at home providing love and care. I have a fenced in yard back and front. There are no children living in my house so my home is peaceful and quiet.
“Would highly recommend Davis and his wife for pet sitting again. My Thor loved them and even my cat Venom who tends to hate men loved them as well! 😅 Already have another booking made to use Davis’ services again and will continue using them moving forward. I really enjoyed the daily updates while I was away. Also was very impressed by the living environment/cleanliness so I knew my babies would be properly taken care of. Thanks again and will see you both soon!”

“We found our dog-sitter Josh through Rover.com and he did a great job! We quickly were able to establish trust with Josh and appreciated that he went the extra mile to give our pup Kylo full attention and love, in addition to taking excellent care of him. My 5 year old pup Kylo doesn’t do well with trusting new people and has separation anxiety from being coddled so much. Josh took such good care of Kylo that he almost didn’t want to leave Josh, which makes me so happy. This was my first time ever using a pet sitter, or service, that wasn’t family. I feel relieved knowing Kylo has someone I can go to that I trust moving forward.”

“Becky is the greatest sitter. Our Sookie felt comfortable with her and looked happy while we were away. Becky sent lots of pictures, and we were happy to see she spoiled Sookie with all the attention and treats. Becky is very kind, communicative, and responsible with our girl. So happy we found her.”

About: I have taken care of dogs ever since I was 10. I have experience caring for senior dogs as well as puppy care! I also have experience with training. Puppies have a special place in my heart, and I don’t think I would ever turn down watching a puppy!!! I currently work from home, so I am just hanging out with my dogs all day and taking them outside, so I thought why not have some more dogs come hangout with us! I have my own two dogs that are super sweet and friendly, and would love some more friends to play with! I take them out every 2 hours if not more and we go on walks or play in the field!
“Kristen was absolutely wonderful! She was flexible and accommodating when needed. She sent pictures of play time and how Milo was doing throughout the stay. I will definitely use her services again!”

“Ana Carolina and her husband were amazing! From the get go, they were so kind and accommodating. I was very nervous to leave my dog with anyone but they immediately made me feel comfortable and confident. Ana Carolina was extremely communicative and sent photo updates the entire time. I will absolutely be using them again in the future, and highly recommend booking them if you are looking for a sitter.”

“Amazing as always ! Cairo loves her so much & he's so happy while he’s there. I feel super comfortable with him being there because she literally treats him like he’s her own 😊 We will be back again soon !”
