“My senior dog Tanner hasn’t been away from me for a long time and is very bonded with me, so I was concerned how it would be for him, as I’d be gone for 5 days. Miya the sitter is more than anyone could ask for in a sitter: she’s attentive and very caring, and it’s very apparent that she loves dogs. She made sure to ask how his poop should look like: when I left, she told me that I could call her if I had any concerns (never felt compelled to). And I certainly would not need to, as I would receive updates throughout the day every day: pictures and videos. She has dog amenities: beds, blankets, and she outfitted Tanner in a sweater and booties when the weather got cooler! My mom is a yoga instructor who teaches puppy yoga most weekends and while the class is going on, I help clean and look after the puppies. I also sit and play with the puppies when there is not a class going on. I am only working part-time so I have plenty of time to take care of your pets. I am available for boarding some days but I am mostly available throughout the day to accommodate your pets’ needs. My goal is not just to care for your pet's basic needs but to provide companionship, attention, and affection while you're away. I follow each pet's regular routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, playtime, litter box or potty breaks, and any special instructions. My goal is to provide attentive, reliable care while helping pets feel comfortable and secure in their own environment.
About: I can handle bottle babies and senior needs, including administering pills or IVs. I have a separate room if your little friend prefers some privacy, otherwise, I’m happy to give them all the attention they need! I’m available all afternoons and fully on weekends. I can offer attention and or/medications early mornings as well. I can keep your pet on a specific diet schedule as well. I can set up any litter box/bathroom needs in my home. I will keep them on their regular feeding schedule and diet, and provide them any additional accommodations upon request.
About: I have taken care of multiple dogs since I was 10 years old, including my own dog as well as many of our neighbors growing up. We just lost our dog this past year, he was 13 years old and had him since 2010. I spent the most time with him, giving him his walks everyday, and had a big contribution in training him when he was younger. I always made sure that each dog that I took care of ate well, always had water, and received plenty of exercise. My schedule is fairly open right now. I am currently working from home and will be available for dog walking and pet sitting in my home Monday through Sunday, anytime after 11am. I have a fenced backyard with a lot of open space. I will also allow the dog to come inside if needed. We also have a lot of extra toys in the house for the dog to play with.
