About: What sets me apart is my experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and energy levels. I fostered puppies and adult dogs for four years, which gave me hands-on experience caring for dogs with different personalities, needs, and backgrounds. I also grew up with working dogs, so I am very comfortable handling high-energy breeds and understand the exercise, structure, and attention they require. Whether it's a playful puppy, an active working dog, or a senior pet needing extra patience and care, I adapt to each animal's individual needs. I am confident handling dogs on walks and prioritize safety, consistency, and positive interactions. About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all kinds since I was little, growing up with a sheltie dog from when I was born. I have taken care of friends, family and neighbor’s dogs and cats; taking them on walks, feeding them, playing with them and caring for them as if they were my own. Living the past 4 years with a roommates/friends who had an pitbull/husky mix and calico cat I helped out often with care and they became family to me as well. Two years ago I as well, had frequently the pleasure of getting to care for both dogs/cats through rover overnight as well as doing check in feedings. I’m currently working part time so I have the flexibility to play with your pets during the week days and all day on the weekends. I unfortunately don’t currently have the ability to board at my home. I always confirm with the client what the pets schedule may be, any health/behavioral concerns, likes/dislikes, emergency contacts & their local veterinary in case of emergency. Having open communication throughout the service, I feel as well helps so that everyone is on the same page in caring and maintaining the safety of their pet.

About: ur friendly neighborhood avid animal lover here to help you with your fur babies! as a former animal shelter employee and current animal hospital worker, I’m familiar with all different kinds of dogs and cats of different ages, breeds, demeanors and needs. I’m comfortable with young puppies to seniors, nervous/shy cats, those who need medication and anyone in between ☺️ I’m located right in the heart of the Mission District and work in Noe Vallley, so anywhere in those two areas are easy for me to access. I also have a car and can access further if need be! As someone who has seen plenty of emergency cases in my profession, I’m very specially aware within people’s homes of what may be considered safe or unsafe for your baby. Just let me know if I need to keep an extra eye on a specific room or piece of furniture in your room!

About: I am returning to Rover after a long hiatus while pursuing my PhD. Before my beloved Stella (black pitty) passed away, we had a wonderful time dog-sitting for clients. After many years of grief and a very, very busy life in my doctoral program, I have another doggy companion, Bruce. We enjoy working from home together and are excited to care for your pets! Training my boxer, Bruce, has been such a rewarding experience, and we hope to have the chance to help others on their journeys to build strong connections between handlers and their beloved companions. Working from home allows me to adapt to different needs and routines to stick as closely as possible with your pets current routine to give them a sense of familiarity. My boxer, Bruce, knows when it is time for his meals, bedtime, or when I need to step out to run errands for the day. I intend to do the same by adapting to your pet's routine so they feel at ease.

“I have had an unstable schedule recently. Elizabeth has been very flexible with me over the past 2 weeks. I swell my dogs kibble as well as add “real” food like veggies, egg, yogurt, pumpkin purée etc. The feeding routine is not simple. She did everything as asked. My animals seem to really like her too!”

“I chose Duyen with my first time using the Rover app, and I was not disappointed! First of all - I chose her because she had experience with animals by volunteering at the shelter, and her bio reflected a caring person who really love animals. This is important to me because I do not trust my husky and two cats with just any stranger. I must admit I was hesitant to use Rover because of this, but upon my first time meeting Duyen and talking to her while walking my husky Kaiju with her - I could already tell how in tuned she was with her behavior and Kaiju's positive reactions to Duyen made me feel comfortable with requesting her to care for our animal family. Duyen was very responsive on the app, asked the right questions, and followed each instruction to every detail. Her reports along with pictures and videos during the two days of her on site visit reflected the care she took of our animals and the respect she had for us as owners.
