1. Audrey K.

“Joining Rover and meeting Audrey has changed our life. We struggle to find someone consistent to come into our home feed our fish and bring the mail in. Audrey was amazing. She arrived when she said she would. She took the best photos ever and kept us updated and in communication along the way. She even went above and beyond; watering some plants, bringing in the mail, bringing in the packages, feeding the outside birds and communicating on fish tank water levels. I highly recommend Audrey and we will definitely be using her every time we go on vacation from here forward. She was so sweet. She even left us a goodie care package that we received when we got home.”

2. Erika E.

“Erika is wonderful with our dog who is a bit shy and slow to warm up. She always provides us with lots of helpful information about the drop in visits.”

3. Lorna A.

“Always amazing. My pup loves Lorna!”

4. Philip & Jenny H.
“Phil really loves pets and has been pet sitting our 12 pound poodle for nearly 5 years. She has been in his care for as long as 10 days and as short as an afternoon. She has developed affection for Phil, and grown to consider him family. Phil has demonstrated a strong sense of responsibility in creating a safe and happy environment for our pet. He offers a clean and organized space and is consistent with the feeding schedule. He plays with her outside throwing a ball and when sitting allows her to join him on his sofa and lap. She is always happy to see him and greets him with a wagging tail!!”

5. Shelby W.

“It's always a pleasure to work with Shelby! She is friendly, professional, thoughtful and highly responsive to all communications. Also our shy cats adore her, she has that kind of good energy =) looking forward to working with her again.”

6. Bree B.

“I had a fantastic experience with Bree as she made in-home visits to care for my puppy while I was out of town. The communication was excellent, you should seriously consider booking her!”

7. Sarah O.
About: As a pet owner of 24 years, I have always had cats and dogs. My first pets were two Golden Retrievers and two cats at the age of one. With the numerous pets of my own and the many that I have cared for those of family and friends, I have experienced all stages of life, mobility, and memory. Whether its puppy sitting a foster family for a couple of days, an elderly Great Dane, a high energy German Shepherd, or a Boxer with doggy dementia, I have experience with all dogs big and small. For each pet that I take care of, I make sure to always learn more about them so that everyone has the most comfortable and loving time together. Whether its reinforcing training or simply spending time with them, I am great at maintaining routine and behavior. As for cats, I have personally had over 10 cats in my life and have seen each cat into old age. I've had a variety of cats from chatty Siamese to outgoing orange to sassy Tortoiseshells that I've met at a variety of life stages and have lovingly added into my family. I've taken care of special needs cats and babysat cats with FIV. In every instance, I make sure that I am well informed of their needs and comforts. I have also lived with and helped take care of a bunny so I am familiar with their eating and drinking habits as well as their behavior. I've also taken care of reptiles such as Bearded Dragons and snakes. I have open availability and am able to do short home stays. I recognize and personally practice that pet care is a daily practice and should be incorporated into each owner's routine. For my own home, I have two cats. Each day begin at 7am when I serve them breakfast. While they're eating I promptly clean their litter box. Depending on the litterbox cycle, I either just scoop or scoop, dump, deep clean, and add new litter. Their water fountain is cleaned each week when it requires a refill. Dinner is served at 6pm with a couple of treats throughout the day. When I am home from work, I play with them as much as they're interested in playing (they're a little bit older now, so not as high energy). For any pet not my own, I always make sure that I am very knowledgeable of the pet's routine, i.e., eating times, eating needs, training, walkings, crate time, etc., so that normalcy and familiarity are maintained. I hope to always make each pet as comfortable and happy as possible.

8. Riley P.
“Riley is my Go-To girl! She is seriously the most loving caring compassionate and responsible sitter i could possibly hope for 💖 she’s not one of those ones who treats it like a “business”. Her vibe is more like she’s excited to just hang out with a new furry friend 🥰🐾 which gives me so much peace of mind. Couldn’t appreciate her more”

9. Patricia S.
“Whoever gets Tricia as a pet sitter, will feel like they hit the jackpot! Tricia is one of the most kind hearted, honest, and organized people I have ever met. She has always had a pet around (either a dog or a cat) and has vast experience with babies too.”

10. Annie H.

“Annie is a responsible cat sitter.”

11. Jessica R.

“Jessica was great! Recently booked her to do a drop-in visit for our four dogs. I sent her a ton of messages to explain details about their meals and needs. She was very responsive to all my texts and sent us pictures of the dogs during her visit. It was great to know they were in good hands while we were out!”

12. Dustin W.

“Very easy to communicate with Dustin! He took some pics of that animals while he visited and reported back once his visit was done. Very nice to have someone to count on in a pinch!!”

13. Bethany K.

“Bethany did a wonderful job taking care of our two boys. One is young, huge, and very energetic. The other is an old man. She was able to manage both dogs very different needs. We received pictures with every visit which is a huge comfort. Thank you Bethany!”

14. Taviana C.

“Taviana did a great job with our dog Jesse. Jesse is a rescue and we are still working on getting him to behave properly. Taviana handled Jesse's behavior well and sent a thorough Rover card. I'm grateful to have found her and would recommend her to anyone.”

15. Reena R.
About: - I worked at the Oakland Zoo for 4 years, including studying and handling various unique animals! Including giving medications. - I strongly believe in consent, even with animals. I always wait for an animal to sniff me and show signs of comfort before approaching or petting them. I am very calm and gentle around shy/ traumatized animals (from experience). But I am also great with excited, active, and roudy animals as well! I was always raised around many cats, dogs, rabbits, and have plenty of babysitting experience. Now I am in a living situation that doesn't allow pets, so I am excited to have animals around me! (I don't understand how people can live without them) I am extremely gentle, thoughtful, clean, attentive, and detailed. I just want to give the loving and thoughtful care I wanted for my beloved animals.

16. Hans G.

“Great feedback from Hans as my pups were scared of him on his first visit. I will continue to try and hopefully they will get used to him. They are just little scared beings overall and definitely not him!”

17. Carolyn D.

“Always awesome!”

18. Ella R.
“Ella is a responsible and reliable pet sitter, with a loving and kind personality to go with it. My dog is elderly, with very particular needs and medication requirements as well. Ella will take care of all of these aspects for me so that I do not have to worry about my beautiful dog Tommy while I am away! She is timely and respectful of my home, making it very easy to leave my dog in her care. I highly recommend Ella for anyone's pet needs.”

19. Elizabeth B.

“Elizabeth took care of my two cats (one of whom is diabetic) over the Christmas break…she came for a meet and greet to learn how to administer insulin to a cat. She is a med student so picked it up quickly. Wonderful feedback and photos daily. I was so pleased and confident with her checking on my two beloved cats…one who is feisty and the other very very shy! Thanks to Elizabeth for a great job!!”

20. Kelly L.

“Kelly was amazing! It was our first time using rover and leaving our little dude for an extended period of time, but Kelly made us feel so reassured that Kai was in good hands. Kelly sent SO many pics and videos of Kai having so much fun with her (which we loved bc we missed him so much) and was so communicative about what they did together during her visit and when/where he had an accident which Kelly cleaned up SO well we barely noticed it happened. 100/10 would recommend and book with Kelly again 😁”
