She recognized something wasn't right, kept us updated the entire time, and got Sal to the emergency vet, through evaluation, and back home swiftly! It was an awkward and difficult situation for everyone, but knowing Sal was with someone who stayed level-headed and made all the right calls meant everything to us. Beyond that, she was kind, communicative, and Sal loved her from the first moment of the meet and greet. About: What sets me apart would be that I take pride in being a huge lover of animals. I take care of them like they are my children❤️🐶 I work a very flexible schedule so I’m able to be with them longer and I have more days always available to me to sit ! About: I’ve had 40 years experience caring for my own dogs (3), a cat and parakeets. My current pets consist of an adopted 2 year old Labrador/Retriever mix and a red-eared turtle, that my son graciously brought home from a junior year field trip, 10 years ago. I have cared for pets not of my own, along with house sitting that included dogs, finches, parakeets and an African Grey parrot. Familiar with dog reactivity and leash pulling. Oral medication can also be administered. Currently working full-time as a teacher. I’m available before 8:30am and after 5:00pm for individual walks and/or house sitting. Weekends open for house sitting or individual walks. Following a routine is apart of my teacher life, so following your fur baby’s won’t be a problem. Daily reports with photos/videos can easily be arranged.

“Ruby did a fantastic job taking care of our pets and our home!! We came home to three very happy nuggets. I think she brushed them while we were away, since our (very large) dog’s coat is super shiny - and she even took out the trash before leaving! We had to extend our trip by 2 days for a family emergency, and she was incredibly flexible and was able to provide care for the additional 2 days. Ruby definitely went above & beyond, and we’d love to have her sit for our dog & 2 cats again any time!”

About: I have taken care of a senior dog for about 5 years now. I have taken care of my lil pup for 4 years. I am currently certified in pet CPR and First aid(certification in photos). I live a active lifestyle and like to hike and take long walks. It is a constant in my life to take care of pets. I care for my own 4 year old Chihuahua/Yorkie mix and my brothers shih Tzu daily. I am available on weekdays after 5pm and all day on the weekends. In my clients homes I can readily walk there pets or let them out into there back yards. I can also crate your pet if that is something you prefer. If you leave feeding or medication instructions do not worry it will be completed and you will be notified.

About: I get along with dogs really well. I can be patience with any hyper active dogs, I believe that no matter the dog, age, breed or type it’ll always be a puppy at heart and that’s what drives me to work with dogs. I am really driven when working with furry friends, I am well trusted and I love to bond with animals. Considering I have a few furry friends of my own, I am well aware of what to expect. It not easy caring for animals; it takes a certain amount of time and patience which I have both of. I am all about concern and safety. I will go any extra mile for anyone including our fur babies. I am good a following directions and will always treat anyone with nothing but respect. I do work full-time as a manager so I make my own schedule. I mostly work morning so I’m home by 2:30pm. Weekends I work evenings. I’m home a good majority of the day, otherwise I’ll be at work. I work five minutes away from the home so I can do drop in visits if I’m away for more than 8 hours.

Our senior dog had become a bit anxious with summer thunderstorms (and was probably sad to be separated from his little brother for our trip), but Jo picked up some extra supplies from her home. She distracted him with enrichment games, like a snuffle mat and licking pad. And of course gave him lots of good love along the way. Like many other reviews noted, she took good care of our home leaving it cleaner than she found it.”
