“Gabriela and Richard were so kind and sweet with my toy poodle! They even took her on little adventures to get doggie ice cream and nice walks around the neighborhood, aside from plenty of outside time in their own fenced-in backyard! Gabriela was super great about texting updates and super cute pics of my girl! And they even got her to eat a good bit while I was away even though she usually tries to go on a hunger strike in my absence. Gabriela met us for like 15 mins at the local park before boarding and got to know my dog and garner some info from me, which I really appreciated and not a lot of boarders do that! My girl was very happy when I picked her up and I would absolutely rebook Gabriela and Richard! Highly recommend!”

About: I am a sound healer, wife, mother to my toddler and animals. My husband is a city of chicago worker and we love the chicago area :) We are very active and love to go on long walks and love being outside with our dogs! I absolutely adore cats and love to spend time feeding the feral cats in my neighborhood. In my spare time I also love to go to the local park with my daughter to watch the squirrels and birds. I love nature. I am good with all types of animals and they love me! We have 2 dogs and 3 cats, and some chickens in our backyard. Our dogs are very friendly and love making new friends whenever they can. I truly love watching and meeting new animals and enjoy this type of work. My sound healing job varies but typically does not get in the way of pet sitting/ dog walking. Most days I am at home with my toddler or we are out exploring the parks. Elmo had a fabulous stay with Joe! We joked that Joe has taken better photos of Elmo than we ever have! Joe sent frequent updates and photos, and we were delighted to see that our pup was having fun playing in the backyard, going for walks, and playing with the other pups. Joe has a great sense for dog personalities and made sure Elmo was comfortable during his stay. He also was very understanding and flexible when we were running late to pick up. Thank you, Joe!
This is my first time using Rover and I’m happy I gave it a try. Anette and her husband took great care of Kobe, keeping me updated and frequently sending pictures, very responsive and tending to Kobe as if he were their own. I felt a peace of mind while on vacation that Kobe was in good hands. I would certainly recommend Anette and request her again:)
Zoey had a great time with Rob! She did manage to bite through her leash, but Rob promptly replaced it. I really appreciated all the videos he sent me throughout her 11-night stay—it was so reassuring and fun to see how much she was enjoying herself. She is the kind of dog sitter that welcomes your pet into her home and cares for your dog like it was her own.I did a meet and greet with her to introduce my dog to a new space and I knew right away that I would be leaving my furry friend in the right good hands. Highly recommend Sarah! My Goldendoodle Charlie loved his extended stay while we were on vacation. It was truly like a vacation for him. Sarah has great house with huge backyard. Colleen and her family did a fantastic job sitting for our pup (8mo doodle). We met her in advance so our dogs could test it out. This was a new experience for both of us so it was great that they were willing to meet in advance. The home and backyard provide a very dog friendly space. Family is very friendly and great with dogs. I received daily photos and little updates on how things were going.

Marie was an absolute angel. She truly cared for my 100lb baby like he was family. She is knowledgeable and really went out of her way to ensure that he was comfortable, engaged and exercised.
