“Lauren is amazing! She gave us great check ins for our two kitties, cleaned up after them, was always friendly, and gave them tons of fun and love during our 30-day trip. Would absolutely recommend and will go to her for our future sitting needs.”

“Logan has been consistently incredible! He is reliable, good with animals, and so kind! Logan has been our sitter for awhile, and we will absolutely never find anyone else as fantastic as him!”

“Juliette was absolutely amazing helping me out with very little notice. Professional and accommodating. I recommend her for trusting any fur babies with her. Thank you!”

“My kitties were happy to have me back home, and they were cared for and well taken care of while I was away. Thank you Kathryn, it was obvious to see how much you love animals. I am happy that I chose you.”

“Stephanie has been absolutely fantastic with our ‘nervous around new things’ dog. She was quick to earn his trust and get him out of his shell. We love knowing that he is in such great hands when she’s around!”

“Rachel was absolutely amazing with Hank. She was communicative, reliable and kind. We couldn’t ask for a better person to help with Hank while we’re at work.”

“Alex did a great job with our two little dogs! She was very communicative, sent lots of pictures, and the dogs were happy when we got home. Would definitely book them again in a heartbeat.”

“Pablo did a great job taking care of Felix. He arrived promptly, followed Felix’s care instructions, and left the apartment tidy. Will definitely book again when Pablo is available.”

“I’m so glad I found Chloe. She gives such great care to my cat. Usually, my kitty hides under the bed from pet sitters. She just loves Chloe. It’s so comforting.”

“Everything was good when we got home except that Ivy peed on the plastic that covered our couch while we were gone. The plastic that was long and laid on the floor. She's done that before. But Mikayla did a good job with her.”

“Judy did a fantastic job dog sitting our pups while we were on vacation. She's reliable, mature, and made sure our dogs were safe and well-cared for. We look forward to booking Judy in the future.”

“Marikate was awesome! Extremely friendly and loved our kitty well. We had a change in travel plans and she was very flexible and helpful to make sure our pet was well taken care of. Will definitely use her again”

About: I grew up with dogs and have been caring for them since I was young, so being around them feels natural to me. I’ve helped friends, family, and neighbors with walking, feeding, bathing, and giving their dogs attention and exercise. I’m reliable, patient, and make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and well cared for. I wanted to become a Conservation Biologist at one point of my life instead I went into Public Health! My schedule is flexible, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and sitting, and I make sure they get lots of attention, playtime, and care while you’re away. I'm a PhD student and do a lot of work from home. Live close to campus. I provide a safe, clean, and calm environment in my pet-friendly apartment, with access to a small yard and nearby Himmel Park for regular walks and exercise. I carefully follow all care instructions, monitor pets closely, and ensure they feel secure and comfortable at all times. I'm a traveler and can't have my own pets but a temporary pet companion is always welcome and adored!
About: I've had several Beagles growing up. Each one was a family dog but it was obvious who the dog considered their favorite! I dont currently own a dog but I plan on adopting a rescue pup soon. I love to be around dogs and I've been walking, sitting, and boarding for friends, family, and neighbors for years. Dogs are the best people! * I will not book any boarding or sitting jobs without meeting you and your pup(s) first. It's just best for everyone involved and it's important to me that your pup will be comfortable with me and my home. I work from home everyday building and repairing guitar amplifiers. Having doggos around makes it feel less like work, especially if they like to sing along or howl to guitar playing! I tend to start work late(around noon) and go until 9 or 10PM but will take plenty of breaks for meals, walks, and play. Honestly, I'd rather play with dogs than work so help me procrastinate! Lol! My casita has small fenced-in front and back yards where they can go potty, sniff, and play. I'm not sure if this is considered an apartment or house. There are 3 other casitas here attached by carports but all entrances and fenced areas are private. Luckily my neighbors and landlords are dog owners/lovers! The sliding door to the deck and rear yard opens from the bedroom which also has a recliner where they are welcome to nap. And, Brandi Fenton dog park is nearby if they need to run.

About: I've taken care of dogs since my family brought home our first Boxer when I was 13. I have extensive experience caring for dogs of varying size and age. I am able to provide bathing and brushing, manage specialized diets, and medication delivery. I have experience with dogs experiencing anxiety and with allergies, and have managed care for dogs recovering from accidents or serious illness. I'm currently working part-time during the day, and able to provide drop-in care and walks after 5pm on weekdays. I have extended availability on Fridays starting at 3pm, and am openly available on Saturday and Sunday. I don't currently offer services from my own home, however I aim to make the most of the time I have with each pet in my care. I try to maintain the routine of each pet as much as possible when their owner is away, and to provide an enriching environment attuned to the needs of each pet. I love to play with each animal and provide walks as needed, in addition to maintaining a clean and safe environment. I aim to provide structure and adhere to the expectations of each pet owner in addressing the dietary, cleanliness, and activity of each individual animal. Food containers, toys, yards, litterboxes, puppy pads, crates, and water sources are maintained and cleaned as needed to ensure the wellbeing and health of pets, as I would do for my own dog and cats.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Doolen-Fruitvale
Lauren is incredibly sweet! I will be booking her again for my next trip. Despite my one cat being on the anxious side, she was able to win over his trust. :) Each day she took pictures & left updates about my two kitties. Thank you so much Lauren! I really appreciate you!

Mari was absolutely amazing with my sweet kitty Meli! Her updates were super thoughtful, long, and detailed, and it was clear she took such great care of her - it also made me feel so much better since I missed Mel so much! Meli can be really shy and usually takes a while to warm up to new people, but she really came out of her shell with Mari in just 3 days, which says so much!! I felt completely comfortable knowing Meli was in such caring hands. Mari is the best, and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter! (':

Logan came to visit our kitten twice a day for the week and she absolutely loved him! He sent us updates and made us feel super comfortable! He was communicative, professional and she had the best time with him! Logan treated her with so much care, I couldn’t stress that enough! I’d happily recommend him - you can easily tell it’s his passion to be there for our fur babies.

Isabella was a joy to see each morning when she came to give Bentley his shot. She was punctual and kind to our dogs. Bentley can be very wiggly when getting his shot and eye cream but Isabella was patient and persistent in getting the job done.We would highly recommend her.

Victoria is awesome! Her love and care for all critters is very clear, and helping animals seems to be a real calling for her. She is super responsive, very attentive, and she prioritized our dog’s best interests and our instructions. Rosie is going through a lot with recovering from surgery and lots of change at home and I’ve been so worried about how sad she has seemed. After hanging with Victoria, our Rosie was noticeably brighter and happier, which made our day. We plan to book as much as we can with Victoria.
