About: Hi! I am Shawna. I’m a five star Rover sitter with 32 verified reviews, now offering drop in visits and dog walking. I’ve always had a soft spot for animals and truly enjoy spending time with them. I grew up with cats and dogs, so caring for them has always been a natural part of my life. While I no longer provide boarding or doggy daycare in my home, I’d love to help make your day a little easier by caring for your pet in the place they’re most comfortable-their own home. Whether your dog needs a walk, a potty break, fresh food, and water, or just someone to throw a ball and give them some attention, I’m happy to help. For cats, I’m just as happy to refresh litter boxes, feed them, play with them, or simply sit with them if they’re the quiet type who enjoys company. As a stay-at-home mom, reliability and kindness are important to me. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care, and I don’t take that lightly. My goal is for you to come home to a happy pet and to feel confident knowing they were well cared for while you were away. I’ll always treat your pets with patience, love, and respect and I’ll send photos and updates so you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind. (My favorite part about being a Rover sitter!) I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your furry family member! Please message me with any questions you may have. I’m currently at home with my 2 kiddos and since it is summertime my availability is pretty open! Pet care fits easily into my daily routine and I enjoy getting out for walks and spending time with animals throughout the week. I’m happy to provide dependable loving care while you’re away. When caring for your pets in your home, I focus on keeping the routine as familiar and stress-free as possible. I follow your instructions closely for feeding, walks, litter, box, care, playtime, and any special needs or medications. During each visit, I’ll also check that everything is in good order in your home and send updates and photos so you know how your pets are doing. My goal is to give you peace of mind and make sure your pets feel cared for, calm, and loved until you return.

About: I have experience with all types of animals from small to large! I don’t remember a time in my life where we did not own and care for animals! I have cared for horses, goats, chickens, rodents, cats, and dogs. I have experience with animals with specials needs as I have a dog that has seizures, a diabetic cat, and a rescue who is very timid with humans; so I have a lot of understanding and patience with all animals. I can administer insulin and give oral medication to both dogs and cats if required. I am open to meeting you and your pet ahead of any care so that you can meet me and feel comfortable with me watching your beloved pets! Please feel free to message me if you have any questions. I currently work part time on the week days usually only 2-3 days a week and only between the hours of 8-5. My days rotate every other week In your home I can do any routine with your pet that you normally do. Scheduling feeding times, potty breaks, play time in the yard, medications, or anything else they may require. In my home I do have two dogs who love every dog they meet, and a cat who keeps to himself most of the time but does fine with other pets. They have all been around plenty of other animals. We do have a very well fenced back yard. Unfortunately at the moment I will probably not be taking in our home care as we our doing renovations so our house is a bit of a mess for guests.

About: Hi, I’m Courtney! I’m an experienced and reliable dog caregiver with a strong background in caring for puppies, large breeds, and multi-pet households. I’ve completed 75+ services with all 5-star reviews and have many repeat clients who trust me with their pets. I focus on keeping dogs on their normal routine while providing plenty of attention, playtime, and structure. I’m very comfortable with high-energy dogs and puppies, and I make sure they get the exercise and engagement they need while you’re away. I also provide consistent photo updates so you can feel confident and connected while your pets are in my care. When appropriate, I reinforce basic training such as leash manners, calm behavior, and daily routines—especially helpful for puppies and younger dogs. I treat every pet like my own and prioritize their safety, comfort, and happiness. Whether your dog needs a calm, reliable presence or lots of activity and play, I’d love to help! I aim to make your time away as stress-free as possible—for both you and your pets. What you can expect: • Regular photo updates • Reliable communication • Structured care based on your dog’s routine • Experience with multiple dogs and high-energy breeds I work full time from home with a big fenced in yard. This allows me time to go on daily walks as well as play in the backyard or give your pet some free roaming time outside in the fenced yard. I have a miniature schnauzer that loves friends and 2 pre-teens that are homeschooled and love to cuddle with animals all day. I have a big fenced yard and I live in a neighborhood with sidewalks. We do daily walks and lots of free time out in the backyard playing fetch or just relaxing. Pets are allowed on the furniture so they can snuggle with us when we’re on the couch and sleep with us at night. We have a miniature schnauzer dog that loves playing with new friends.

About: I have taken care of multitude of animals since I was 7. I have a true passion for any and all animals. Ever since I can remember I’ve had snakes, horses, goats, chickens, dogs, cats, and hedgehogs. I’ve house sitted, I’ve walked animals, fed animals, provided medicine and other types of medical care to animals. I’m truly available for anything and will help when needed! I’m currently working part time. My schedule varies but usually I’m schedule 7am -3 on Monday, Wednesdays, and Sundays. I also have college classes on Tuesday’s and Thursdays from 10am -2:15pm. I can still provide care on those days as long as we can work around my schedule! In my home, I feed my dogs, walk my dogs, play with them, I also feed and play with my cats, I have to clean out my snake enclosures, I feed the chickens, and I also feed and play around with our bunny. I had one client for a while and I used to stay at their house while also going to work, but I would take care of their older dog who struggled with dementia and ear problems. I would give him medicated baths and rub ear drops in his ear to make sure they were clean. I also would do small chores around their house or any chores they asked me to do. I would spend the night until they came home! I have a lot of animals but I currently have none living with me since I’ve moved for college, except for one cat but it’s my roommates.

About: Hello, my name is Terrell. I am an active duty service member with a wife and four kids. I have owned dogs my entire under bringing and I have also “doggy sat” co-workers pets here and there, which is what brought me to Rover. I’m hoping I can use my off days and spare time to assist others with their pets when needed. I know life can always be unexpected and throw curveballs and I’m here to hopefully help you out. I look forward to hearing from you guys and I can’t wait to meet all the new dogs here in the Clay County area! Thanks for reading my profile. I work Monday - Friday and the occasional weekend once a month. When in my care your loving fur baby will have plenty of time to play as I know several dog parks and open fields around the area. Looking forward to doing my best to fill your pet needs! On work days we go on one walk when I get home and on non working days we do a walk in the morning and afternoon and if they are up for it, dog park day.

About: Since childhood I discovered the joy and compassion in caring for animals. I started volunteering on my summers at Palm Beach Zoo. I am looking forward to offering personalized care for my clients and pets now that my dog Missy is no longer alive I have enormous love to share. I help care for my brothers dogs, ducks, lizrd, snake, and tortoise. I can use my skills to help ensure pets health while parents are away. I can offer personalized care for small animals( cats and dogs) and exotic animals( pet lizards, snakes, and many more. I will greatfully look after any pets you have...no matter how big or little. About: I have been a volunteer at my county animal shelter for more than 12 years. I specialize in socializing and earning the trust of scared dogs. I'm comfortable with all breeds. I am also an active kitten and mom/kitten foster for the shelter. I assist medical staff in surgery prep and recovery. I am able to administer medications including insulin for diabetic animals. I am retired from a long career in health insurance and my 2nd career as a REALTOR. I have full time availability to care for animals. I have a fenced yard. I have 3 dog friendly dogs and 5 cats. Excellent service!! I was recommended by my friend and this was my first time using rover. Great communication, she did everything that I asked for (even though I asked a lot) She came to the house to meet my dog before the appointment which went smooth. She took 15 pictures, her rover card was a whole book! I could literally imagine exactly what she did with my dog. I would definitely love her to take care of my dog again.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
