This has to be the best place to send your dog!! My Bear is so excited to go see them!! He's so happy and well taken care of!! The pictures I received during his stays assured me that he was doing well. When I pick my little guy up he's so joyful and just prancing around like he has the best time ever. I highly recommend this couple!! Very nice

About: Hi, I’m Haylie! Caring for pets has always been a passion of mine, and I treat every furry friend like part of my own family. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, feedings, or just giving extra cuddles, I make sure every pet feels safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. Since I work from home, I have a very flexible schedule and can give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. Walks, playtime, feeding, and cuddle breaks easily fit into my routine, and I’m always close by to make sure they feel safe and cared for. Working from home allows me to provide reliable, consistent care and keep your pet’s day as happy and stress-free as possible. In my home, pets get the same love and care as if they were my own. I create a safe, comfortable space where they can relax and feel at home. Safety and comfort are my top priorities, so I always keep a close eye on them and give them lots of love, care, and companionship.

Whitney did a very nice job with Bella. When I arrived to pick up Bella, I could see that she was very content and happy at Whitney‘s home. I really appreciate having a place where I feel safe leaving my little fur baby.

My Skylar had the best time ever with Sanja! She had so much fun, I don't think she wanted to leave! I was the nervous one and Sanja immediately put me at ease with her obvious love of animals and her years of experience and knowledge. The pictures and videos she sent were amazing and put me at ease. I already have a 4 day stay scheduled and plan on many more day boarding trips. It is like a fun vacation for Skylar and puts my mind and heart at peace knowing my Skylar is in Sanja's loving care. Thank you Sanja!

Erica was very responsive to my inquiries and any questions I had. We needed a dog sitter for one day as we visited a national park. Erica was very friendly as she greeted us at her door. Her dogs were also equally enthusiastic to have a new playmate. Our pup went right in and did not look back as we left. She sent a cute photo midday of him taking a nap! This was our first experience with Rover and we would do it again!

This is Louie’s second visit with Sarah. He was SO excited when we pulled up, his entire tail and lower half of his body was wagging and he was incredibly eager to go inside and play with the other dogs. And that is Louie’s review, which I believe would go something like this: “Mom, when can I go back and play?? Please??”

About: Dogs have always been a central part of my life. As a longtime dog owner, foster volunteer, and animal rescue advocate, I understand that every dog has unique needs, routines, and personalities. As the proud dog mom of Scotty and Pancake, I understand how important it is to know your pets are safe, happy, and loved while you're away. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, including senior dogs, rescue dogs, and pets requiring extra patience and attention. Through fostering and volunteering with rescue organizations, I've helped care for dogs during transitions, administered basic medications, managed feeding schedules, and provided plenty of exercise, enrichment, and affection. I currently share my home with two small dogs and know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets. Whether your dog needs a comfortable place to stay, regular walks, drop-in visits, or extra cuddles while you're away, I'll treat them like part of the family and keep you updated with photos and messages for peace of mind. I currently work part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to provide attentive care for your pets. I'm available for boarding on weekends and weekdays after 2:00 PM, with availability for walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting throughout the week. Dogs in my care are treated like family and are rarely left alone for extended periods. Whether your pup enjoys playtime, walks, cuddles on the couch, or simply sticking to their normal routine, I'm happy to accommodate their individual needs. I also provide regular photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your pet is safe, happy, and having fun. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have experience caring for my own dogs, foster dogs, rescue dogs, senior pets, and dogs with different personalities and energy levels. I understand that every dog is unique and I take the time to learn their routines, preferences, and any special instructions you provide. As a longtime rescue volunteer and foster, I have experience helping dogs feel comfortable in new environments and working with pets who may need a little extra patience and reassurance. In my home, dogs enjoy a clean, pet-friendly environment with plenty of attention, supervision, and opportunities for play and exercise. I have a fenced yard for safe outdoor time and two friendly small dogs who are accustomed to being around other pets. Introductions are always done carefully to ensure everyone feels comfortable. When caring for pets in a client's home, I respect your routines and home as if it were my own. I follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, exercise needs, and any household guidelines you provide. My goal is to make your pet feel secure, loved, and as comfortable as possible while you're away.

Such a lucky find for me. Kerri loves dogs. My dog can be nervous when around strangers, not with Kerri. She was well taken care of, with pictures being sent often! In the past, if I had to use a kennel it took a couple of days for her to get back to normal. Not this time, because Kerri earned her trust. So happy to find this sweet family!

I had a wonderful meet and greet with Veronica. I booked a playdate and my anxious, nervous dog did so great at her house and with her dog. Veronica is super!! She is great with communication and details. She has lots of experience with dogs and my dog warmed up to her very fast. I was surprised since he is so timid. I am excited to have a dog sitter so close to my home and I completely trust Veronica with my dog.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Doctors Inlet on Rover is $33.3 per day (as of June 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of June 2026, there are 817 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Doctors Inlet. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Doctors Inlet commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 817 sitters in Doctors Inlet, 89% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
