About: I'm a professional dog trainer with over 10 years of experience and an AKC Canine Good Citizen & STAR Puppy Evaluator. I specialize in obedience, service dogs, and behavioral rehabilitation, so I'm comfortable working with puppies, seniors, reactive dogs, and dogs with special needs. Unlike traditional boarding, dogs under my care stay in my home on 2.4 acres, where they receive personalized care, structured routines, and plenty of mental and physical enrichment. My goal is for every dog to have a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable stay while giving owners peace of mind. Pet care is my full time job. I own and operate Canine Collegiate, a home-based daycare, boarding, training, and grooming facility on 2.4 acres in Lake Asbury. Because we live on the property, the dogs get frequent potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and plenty of attention throughout the day. Dogs stay in our home, not in a traditional kennel. We keep a structured routine with supervised play, enrichment, rest breaks, and time outdoors on our fenced property. I'm a professional dog trainer with over 10 years of experience, so I'm comfortable caring for puppies, seniors, reactive dogs, and dogs with special behavioral needs. I maintain a clean, structured, and safe environment for all dogs in our care. We use a HEPA air purifier and require all dogs to be up to date on vaccinations. Each dog also receives a quick health check at pickup.
“Erica was very responsive to my inquiries and any questions I had. We needed a dog sitter for one day as we visited a national park. Erica was very friendly as she greeted us at her door. Her dogs were also equally enthusiastic to have a new playmate. Our pup went right in and did not look back as we left. She sent a cute photo midday of him taking a nap! This was our first experience with Rover and we would do it again!”
“Bud had a good day. This was his first doggy daycare, and it was a positive experience for Bud and his family. Haylie kept me updated throughout the day; she was kind and seemed to really enjoy taking care of him. It was nice for him to also have time with her golden doodle and child. Thank you Haylie”

He was SO excited when we pulled up, his entire tail and lower half of his body was wagging and he was incredibly eager to go inside and play with the other dogs. And that is Louie’s review, which I believe would go something like this: “Mom, when can I go back and play?? Please??””

About: Welcome to Lovewell Pet Services 🐾 Use Promo Code: LEAHB40141 to get $20 off your first booking - https://www.rover.com/sit/leahb40141 Hi, I’m Leah of Lovewell Pet Services! I have had a house full of pets my entire life, and caring for animals is just part of who I am. My pets are family, and when your dog stays with me, they’ll be treated like one of our own - with love, attention, and lots of tail wags. I live in a safe neighborhood with miles of walking paths we explore daily, and I have a fenced-in backyard that’s been well-tested (and well-loved!) by my playful golden retriever & silly corgi, who are always up for a friendly romp or a game of chase. I have a flexible schedule, never away from home for more than a couple of hours, so your dog will have plenty of company and supervision throughout the day. I’m also comfortable administering medications if needed. Whether your pup needs playtime, snuggles, or a peaceful place to nap, I’m here to make them feel right at home. Pet care is a seamless part of our daily routine! We have flexible schedules with someone always present in the home, so we're able to give plenty of attention and supervision throughout the day. Our mornings usually start with a walk, and we take regular breaks to play in the backyard with our two dogs. We're used to feeding on a schedule, administering medications if needed, and making sure every pet in our care feels loved, safe, and included in the flow of our home. In our home, pets are treated like family. We stick to each dog’s routine as closely as possible - whether that means feeding on a specific schedule, giving medications, or maintaining potty breaks and playtimes. Dogs have full access to our fenced-in backyard for supervised outdoor time, and they’re welcome to relax with us inside as part of the family. We go on daily walks through our neighborhood and love giving pups plenty of attention, affection, and play. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, loved, and at home while you’re away.
“She really helped us out in a pinch with last minute booking for an out of the city day care, we really appreciated it. Our puppy did great and had no issues. We appreciated that she had a fenced in back yard too that allowed our dog to run around. It wad a good experience.”

About: Kelli and I both grew up caring for our family dogs and when we got married (over 30 years ago), we of course had to find our Lucy. We found Lucy at the local shelter and she changed our lives. We loved her for 13 years and when she passed, she left a gigantic hole in our hearts. We are not ready to have another dog of our own but love to care for others. We travel quite a bit and don't want to board a fuzzy baby in a kennel. About 2 years after losing our Lucy, we started pet sitting for our friends and neighbors and it has been a blessing. It's like having grand kids. We have the joy of a pet for short periods of time and then they go home! We care for pets for overnights, up to 5 -7 nights if needed. We love and care for them like they are our own. Our home is very dog friendly, with mostly tile floors and furniture they can sit/nap on. Your pet will be spoiled while visiting with us. We own a small business and Kelli works from home 5 days a week. Joe works from home 2-3 days a week. The pets get spoiled with love and attention. We have a large fenced backyard and a great neighborhood to walk in. We will walk your pet several times per day and they will have unlimited in/out privileges.
About: I have an orange cat that I care for with complete dedication, so I fully understand the importance of treating a pet with patience and affection. I am a very responsible person with a keen eye for detail. Although I am new to this app, I take animal care very seriously and make sure to follow your instructions to the letter, ensuring your dog feels right at home and happy while in my care. I have complete flexibility to dedicate quality time to pets. My routine allows me to be very present, offering constant attention, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. I follow all the care instructions, diets, and routines you provide to the letter. I also stay in constant communication with you, sending photos and updates so you have complete peace of mind while your pet is with me.
About: Animals have always been one of my greatest passions, and I have dedicated much of my life to their care and well-being. Throughout college, I worked at an animal hospital, where I gained hands-on experience assisting with the care of animals of all ages, breeds, and medical needs. That experience strengthened my knowledge of animal behavior, health, and compassionate care while reinforcing my commitment to advocating for those who cannot speak for themselves. Beyond my professional experience, I have owned and fostered multiple dogs at one time, providing safe, loving homes while helping prepare them for permanent families. I have also volunteered extensively with the nonprofit F.U.R., where I transported rescue animals across the state, fostered litters of puppies, and supported countless rescue efforts. These experiences have taught me the importance of patience, adaptability, and teamwork in animal welfare. I believe every animal deserves compassion and respect, regardless of breed, age, size, or background. I approach each animal without bias, focusing instead on understanding their individual needs and providing the care, advocacy, and second chances they deserve. My lifelong dedication to animal welfare continues to drive my passion for making a positive impact in the lives of animals and the people who care for them. As an elementary school teacher, I have a schedule that allows me to provide consistent care and attention to animals. My workday ends in the afternoon, giving me plenty of time each evening for exercise, training, and companionship. I also have weekends, holidays, and school breaks free, and I am home full-time during the summer. This flexibility makes it possible for me to meet the physical and emotional needs of the animals in my care while providing them with a stable, loving environment. I have a large fenced-in backyard that provides a safe, secure space for pets to play and relax. My home is near the water in a large neighborhood with sidewalks and friendly neighbors who also have pets, creating a welcoming and trustworthy environment for walks and outdoor time.
“Whitney did a very nice job with Bella. When I arrived to pick up Bella, I could see that she was very content and happy at Whitney‘s home. I really appreciate having a place where I feel safe leaving my little fur baby.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of August 2026, there are 700 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Penney Farms. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Penney Farms commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 700 sitters in Penney Farms, 91% respond to messages in under an hour.
You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
