I have owned dogs my entire under bringing and I have also “doggy sat” co-workers pets here and there, which is what brought me to Rover. I look forward to hearing from you guys and I can’t wait to meet all the new dogs here in the Clay County area! Thanks for reading my profile. I work Monday - Friday and the occasional weekend once a month. When in my care your loving fur baby will have plenty of time to play as I know several dog parks and open fields around the area. One thing I love about cats is their totally unique personalities - no two cats are ever alike! Growing up, my dad and I would go to the pet store just to pet the kitties that were up for adoption. And anytime there was a stray cat out and about, of course I stopped to get them to come over to me and to give them love.

About: Hello everyone! My name is Kira, and I’ve been pet sitting through rover for many years now off and on. Depending on the week and time of year, I may not always have availability to pet sit for you. I will be sure to get back to you to let you know why if I’m not able to. I know your pets are a member of the family, so I want to make sure you feel comfortable leaving your pet in my care. I’m happy to get to know your pet prior to starting pet sitting or walking! I’ve had cats and dogs my entire life and volunteered for a year at the Charleston Animal Society with cats and dogs. I love getting to know your pets and each of their personalities. I have experience changing litter boxes, feeding cats and dogs, cooking (if you feed your pet something extra special! :)), walking big and small dogs, offering medicine to cats and dogs, and interacting with more timid pets. I’d love to answer any other questions about me that would help you feel comfortable entrusting your special family members with me! My schedule varies a lot week to week, but I’ll make sure to communicate with you on my availability! If you’re able to reach out in advance, I’ll be happy to work with you to figure out if we can make something work to fit your schedule and pet sitting needs. I’m happy to meet your pet before jumping into their care. I know how important it is to feel comfortable with whoever you’re leaving your pet with. Please let me know what would be best for you!
“Erica was very responsive to my inquiries and any questions I had. We needed a dog sitter for one day as we visited a national park. Erica was very friendly as she greeted us at her door. Her dogs were also equally enthusiastic to have a new playmate. Our pup went right in and did not look back as we left. She sent a cute photo midday of him taking a nap! This was our first experience with Rover and we would do it again!”
“This is Louie’s second visit with Sarah. He was SO excited when we pulled up, his entire tail and lower half of his body was wagging and he was incredibly eager to go inside and play with the other dogs. And that is Louie’s review, which I believe would go something like this: “Mom, when can I go back and play?? Please??””

“Tammy was very caring and friendly. She took care of Pepper as I would at home. She also send pictures thru out the day to tell me how Pepper was doing. Will definitely use her again.”

About: Hi there! I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life. I’ve watched my dad train our dogs, take them to the vet, trim their nails, give them hair cuts, bathe them, walk them, and most importantly, show them love. I also love cats! I worked at small animal hospital as an Exam Technician where I helped care for and assess dogs and cats who came into our care. During the summer of senior year of high school, I was accepted to attend UF’s Gator Vet Camp where I worked alongside UF veterinary students and staff to learn about small and large animal care. I have always been an animal lover. Growing up my dad and I would save any injured turtle, bird, lizard, and squirrel we came across. My favorite place to be is at the zoo or an animal farm because animals truly fill my heart with joy! During this summer, I will be available 9am-7pm, 7 days a week. In September, I will be starting grad school online from home, which might affect these hours but I will be more than happy to find a work around to continue taking care of your fur babies! I will always make sure to clean up after myself and your fur baby if any accidents happen. I like to keep things cleaner than I found them. You fur baby will be treated just as if they were my own, with love, kindness, and companionship.

“Jamie has been there for us on numerous occasions and we entrust her to enter our house when we aren't home in order to take care of our Max. She sends pictures to us when she visits him and he is very happy in those pictures. This last time, she squeezed us in even though our request was last minute. We find her to be extremely reliable and conscientious. We highly recommend Jamie!”

“We are so grateful even on last minute notice she took our booking for our sweet Lily. She made sure we are updated with pictures and also she accommodate when we got stuck in traffic and was not able to pick Lily on time. We cannot thank her enough for taking such great care for our furbaby!”

“I left my two frenchies with Tish for the first time for 3 nights. I could not have been more pleased with the way she took care of them. She sent lots of photos and made sure they were comfortable with their surroundings. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who is as picky as I am with who my babies stay with. I will definitely book with her again”

“Sylvia has a heart for dogs and this was evident from the moment my fur baby arrived. She was very attentive to my dog, kept me informed daily of my dog’s activities and my dog was happy there. She even sent me daily pictures.I will absolutely use Sylvia again in the future.”

“Leaving the country for nine days and what to do with your ninety pound loving chocolate lab who has never been boarded before? Try Ms. Abigail out you will not be sorry. We got a meet and greet several days before the booked stay. Abigail has a large property, one dog and a family with lovely kids who enjoy animals. While away we received pictures and updates of our pet’s boarding experience. Abigail made the drop off and pick up easy and she replied quickly to any communications. Our family recommends Abigail for pet boarding.”

“We have only used Rover a couple of times and this is our first experience with Mary. She is flexible and easy to work with. Our dog, Ellie, had a great time and received super care. She had lots of outside time/play and received all her meals and meds as requested. Mary frequently sent us pictures of Ellie during play and when resting. We could tell that Ellie was happy and content there. We will definitely be reaching out to Mary again to board Ellie.”

“Such a good experience for our puppy. You could tell he had a lot of fun and was happy with them while we were away. She kept us updated and sent us lots of picture. Would highly recommend !”

“★★★★★ 10/10 Would Book Again! Amazing Care for Booby! Joseph and his wife are simply the best! If you're looking for sitters who will treat your fur baby like their own, look no further. They took fantastic care of our Booby. They followed all our instructions perfectly and sent the cutest updates throughout our trip, which we absolutely loved seeing. It was so clear Booby was having a blast—the pictures of them playing together just melted our hearts. We knew she was in the best hands possible and could truly relax on our vacation. They are a wonderful, caring duo and we are so thankful for them! We will definitely be booking with them again!”

“Lisa is incredibly accommodating and provided an amazing daycare experience for my Dutch Shepherd Darren! She has an amazing backyard, yet still invests her time in walking the dogs — my doggy came home happily tired, which is great! If you want to treat your dog to a resort-like stay, please connect with Lisa. I’m simply impressed with her service, and I think my dog seriously misses her! Fresh water, walks, and pictures almost every few hours absolutely made my day and gave me complete peace of mind.”

About: Unlike traditional boarding, dogs under my care stay in my home on 2.4 acres, where they receive personalized care, structured routines, and plenty of mental and physical enrichment. My goal is for every dog to have a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable stay while giving owners peace of mind. I'm a professional dog trainer with over 10 years of experience and an AKC Canine Good Citizen & STAR Puppy Evaluator. I specialize in obedience, service dogs, and behavioral rehabilitation, so I'm comfortable working with puppies, seniors, reactive dogs, and dogs with special needs. Pet care is my full time job. I own and operate Canine Collegiate, a home-based daycare, boarding, training, and grooming facility on 2.4 acres in Lake Asbury. Because we live on the property, the dogs get frequent potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and plenty of attention throughout the day. Dogs stay in our home, not in a traditional kennel. Because of this we do have vaccines requirements for kennel cough (bordatella), parvo, distemper and rabies, as well as a negative fecal test within the past two weeks. We keep a structured routine with supervised play, enrichment, rest breaks, and time outdoors on our fenced property. I'm a professional dog trainer with over 10 years of experience, so I'm comfortable caring for puppies, seniors, reactive dogs, and dogs with special behavioral needs. I maintain a clean, structured, and safe environment for all dogs in our care. We use a HEPA air purifier and require all dogs to be up to date on vaccinations. Each dog also receives a quick health check at pickup.

“Cassandra was amazing with my pup. He is an anxious boy and she took all the steps to ensure he was calm and felt cared for. She sent just the right amount of updates and even returned him with new toys and bones. Happy to have found her!”
