“I had never used Rover or left my pups with a stranger before and Haylie was a great first experience! She sent updates with pictures and eased my fears about leaving our pup. I could tell Maggie had a good time and was well cared for because when I picked her up, she was comfortable around Haylie and wanted to follow her back into the house. I definitely recommend Haylie for pet sitting!”

“Zarria was very attentive to Quincy. She followed my instructions and took and sent pics every day. When I picked Q up he was happy which meant a lot. I would definitely book her again.”

“Cannot praise her enough for how much above and beyond she went to take care of my dog while I was away for 3 days for the first time. I was anxious and worried but she kept me updated every 2-3 hours with photos and comments on how my fur baby was doing. At the end of the day she wrote me a summary of my dog's day! My dog got along very well with her dog Summer. She treated my dog with true love and even took him to the beach and also offered to give him a bath. She was cuddling with my baby and gave him lots of love. It was absolutely an incredible experience with her and I will look nowhere else for my dog's day care/boarding services. Thanks again!”

“Sylvia and her family made my Lucy feel comfortable in their home, even her daughter letting her sleep with her. Lucy loves to snuggle and I think she got lots of snuggle time with them🩷. Now I have 2 great Rover sitters to take Lucy to if we have to go some place where she can’t go! Thank you Sylvia and family😍”

“Our first time using Rover. We moved our son to Jacksonville and then took a cruise for a week. Joe and his wife came up as a possible fit for our small dog. They were very accommodating for several reasons. During the trip they sent pictures and updates. Good connection.”

“I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Jodi and the care she gave my dog, Evy. She kept me updated throughout the day with photos and messages about all the fun activities they enjoyed. Jodi truly created a safe, loving environment for dogs, and I felt completely at ease knowing Evy was in such great hands.”

“Melissa and her family genuinely cares for our girl while we are gone. She’s flexible and works with our busy schedule. We are thankful to have found a sitter who can create a home away from home for Hazel.”

“Bridget and her family were the best sitters for our pups! It was clear they were well loved and taken care of, even got baths before they came home! Highly recommend for your loved fur friends 👍🏻”

“My chihuahua and I haven't been a part in forever. When my family and I went on a one week trip, I knew I had to find the perfect dog sitter. My dog is picky and I was worried, but she was immediately comfortable at crystals house. She is so kind and attentive, and became best friends with my chihuahua. She was comfortable around everyone in the household and very well taken care of. Will certainly be using her services in the future and am beyond thankful for her and her family. Thank you SO much”

“Kim Was Absolutely Amazing! I Had Total Peace Of Mind Knowing Frida And Jax Were In Such Great Hands. Highly Recommend Kimber. I’ll Definitely Be Booking With Her Again!”

“She was a great sitter! She constantly gave me updates throughout the entire trip and didn’t have me worry about my dog one bit. There was even an inconvenience on my end and she understood and worked with me! I highly recommend 5/5!”

“Sarah did a fantastic time taking care of our pet. While we were gone over the holidays. She had to deal with New Year's Eve and our pet being afraid of fireworks. There were no occurrences of panic and she came home completely at ease. Our pet did not show any behavior issues of anger that we went off and left her, so that is the highest compliment I can give. Thank you so much, Sarah and family!”

“We were lucky to have found Georgia. She's was very sweet and caring to our dog . She has 3 sweet dogs that our senior dog enjoyed visiting with as well. She has a nice backyard for the dogs to go outside and sets up gates & their beds for whatever their needs are.. We will be happy to have Georgia babysit our dog again.”

“Haylie came in clutch as a last minute sitter for my dogs. She was on time every day and stayed with them the full hour (I only needed a mid-day potty and play break for my dogs). She sent me pictures of my pups and let me know how they were doing. I would book Haylie again.”

“We’re new to the area. First time with Sherri taking care of our fur babies. She did a great job. Went over and above to make them feel comfortable. Will definitely book with her again.”

Whether it’s drop-in visits, feeding routines, playtime, or just giving them some extra love and attention, I make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. I’m very attentive to details and will always follow your pet’s routine exactly as requested — from specific feeding instructions to medications or preferred walking routes. I’m also happy to provide updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re gone. I’m especially great with pets who need a little extra patience or consistency, and I always aim to create a calm, positive environment for them. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your pet!

“I had a sitter cancel on me last minute and was scrambling right before my flight. THANK GOD AND THE HEAVENS for Colleen and her prompt response she was able to help me out very last minute. She is truely a life saver and a gift from God. Please book her!!”

“Sarah Is Absolutely Wonderful ! We are very grateful for her making time for us in five days notice. She is responsive polite and thorough. Our cat loved her, and that was our cat’s first time on her own. She played fed pet and spoiled our little goblin. She takes great pictures that are very funny and very cute as well. We felt very relieved after the first update and continued to be happy with each additional one. Will definitely contact again the next time we go out of town.”

“This was my first time using Rover, and I had a wonderful experience w/ Alison! She treated Starburst as if she were her own, and was flexible, thoughtful, and kind! I’ll be rebooking w/ her in the future.”

“Cindy is an incredible dog sitter! She took excellent care of my Ella and made sure she was happy, comfortable, and well-loved while I was away. I appreciated her regular updates and attention to detail. It’s clear she genuinely loves animals. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!”

“I've had several "professional" pet sitting services take care of my kitty over the years... but I was always frustrated because their work never lived up to their promises. My kitty is very social, she needs regular human interaction... Courtney gave my fur-baby exactly what she needed and more! Not only did Courtney follow my instructions for care and feeding, but she made sure to always spend time petting, grooming, and playing with my baby - whatever she needed on any given day. I could tell when I returned that my kitty was very well taken care of. I'm always anxious about leaving my fur baby, but Courtney provided very detailed information each day of the pet sit, which game me great comfort - I could actually relax into my vacation. In short, Courtney was amazing! I highly recommend her services, and will be re-booking with her in the future!”

“Whitney did a very nice job with Bella. When I arrived to pick up Bella, I could see that she was very content and happy at Whitney‘s home. I really appreciate having a place where I feel safe leaving my little fur baby.”

“She really helped us out in a pinch with last minute booking for an out of the city day care, we really appreciated it. Our puppy did great and had no issues. We appreciated that she had a fenced in back yard too that allowed our dog to run around. It wad a good experience.”

“Erica was very responsive to my inquiries and any questions I had. We needed a dog sitter for one day as we visited a national park. Erica was very friendly as she greeted us at her door. Her dogs were also equally enthusiastic to have a new playmate. Our pup went right in and did not look back as we left. She sent a cute photo midday of him taking a nap! This was our first experience with Rover and we would do it again!”
“This was a last minute booking & Stacey came through for me. The communication was great & Stacey took very good care of our baby Chloee. I like that she sent me photos & it looked Chloee was well taken care of & having fun. I will definitely use Stacey again. Thank you Stacey & family”

“This is Louie’s second visit with Sarah. He was SO excited when we pulled up, his entire tail and lower half of his body was wagging and he was incredibly eager to go inside and play with the other dogs. And that is Louie’s review, which I believe would go something like this: “Mom, when can I go back and play?? Please??””

“Mary did an excellent job taking care of my dog. She was attentive, caring, and made sure my dog was happy and comfortable the entire time. I really appreciated the updates and how well she handled everything. Highly recommend her!”

About: As a dog owner myself, I know that the most important thing we look for is the peace of mind that our dogs will be safe, happy, and genuinely loved while we're away. They're not just pets—they're family. What sets me apart is the way I care for every dog as if they were my own. I'm naturally attentive, protective, and affectionate, and I take the time to understand each dog's unique personality, routine, and needs. I pay close attention to their body language and behavior so they feel comfortable, secure, and understood. Whether your dog loves to play, cuddle, explore, or simply relax, I'll make sure they receive personalized care, and a safe environment where they can feel at home. My goal is for you to enjoy complete peace of mind, knowing your best friend is in caring and trustworthy hands. I work from home Monday through Friday, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to provide attentive, consistent care throughout the day. On Saturdays and Sundays, I have even more availability to spend quality time with the dogs in my care. I make time for multiple potty breaks, walks, play sessions, and plenty of affection every day. I'm also very organized with feeding schedules, treats, and any medications your dog may need, ensuring they stay on their normal routine. As a dog owner myself, I know how important it is to have peace of mind while you're away. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, loved, and right at home, while giving you the confidence that they're receiving the same level of care I would want for my own dog. I provide a safe, clean, and loving environment where dogs can feel comfortable and at home. My home is spacious, uncluttered, and designed with safety in mind, and I have a large, fully fenced backyard where dogs can play, explore, and enjoy supervised outdoor time. I also have a friendly 4-year-old Yorkie-Poodle who enjoys the company of other dogs and can be a great playmate for social pups. For dogs who prefer a quieter environment, I always respect their individual personality and comfort level. I provide plenty of toys, playtime, potty breaks, walks, affection, and rest throughout the day. I carefully follow each owner's instructions regarding feeding, medications, exercise, and daily routines so your dog feels as comfortable and relaxed as possible while you're away.
About: Animals have always been one of my greatest passions, and I have dedicated much of my life to their care and well-being. Throughout college, I worked at an animal hospital, where I gained hands-on experience assisting with the care of animals of all ages, breeds, and medical needs. That experience strengthened my knowledge of animal behavior, health, and compassionate care while reinforcing my commitment to advocating for those who cannot speak for themselves. Beyond my professional experience, I have owned and fostered multiple dogs at one time, providing safe, loving homes while helping prepare them for permanent families. I have also volunteered extensively with the nonprofit F.U.R., where I transported rescue animals across the state, fostered litters of puppies, and supported countless rescue efforts. These experiences have taught me the importance of patience, adaptability, and teamwork in animal welfare. I believe every animal deserves compassion and respect, regardless of breed, age, size, or background. I approach each animal without bias, focusing instead on understanding their individual needs and providing the care, advocacy, and second chances they deserve. My lifelong dedication to animal welfare continues to drive my passion for making a positive impact in the lives of animals and the people who care for them. As an elementary school teacher, I have a schedule that allows me to provide consistent care and attention to animals. My workday ends in the afternoon, giving me plenty of time each evening for exercise, training, and companionship. I also have weekends, holidays, and school breaks free, and I am home full-time during the summer. This flexibility makes it possible for me to meet the physical and emotional needs of the animals in my care while providing them with a stable, loving environment. I have a large fenced-in backyard that provides a safe, secure space for pets to play and relax. My home is near the water in a large neighborhood with sidewalks and friendly neighbors who also have pets, creating a welcoming and trustworthy environment for walks and outdoor time.
About: I’ve had pets my entire adult life, my house is not a home without my fur babies. I love dogs of all breeds and sizes, as well as cats. All of my pets have been life long family members from babies through senior age. I’ve potty trained, crate trained, cared for my babies from skin allergies to arthritis and surgeries. Some of my pets have been perfect angels and some have had past trauma that created behavioral issues that we had to work with and do special training. My fiancé and I would love the opportunity to care for your fur babies as if they are our own. I’m the primary pet sitter and organize but he is my partner and back up. I know how pets stress when with new people and a new environment and I strive to make your pet’s stay as easy for your pet as possible. Please let me know their routine and any special care needed and I will do my best to make your pet comfortable. We have recently adopted our 2 foster dogs, they are sweet with kids and other dogs. However, we do have the ability and will keep separated from Rover dogs when needed if requested. My main concern is that your pets as well as mine are kept safe and happy. We both work full time but we have time in the evenings and weekends to care for and love your babies when you can’t. We would love the opportunity to care for your babies. We would love for your pets to enjoy our large fenced in backyard with a cool, clear pool to cool off in the summer. We love to play with your pups in our yard throwing balls or frisbees to burn off some of that pent up energy. If you don’t have a yard we would be happy to take them on a leashed walk. We know being away from home and their families can be stressful not only for your pet but also you. Bring all their favorites and feel at ease knowing they are being cared for just like part of the family.

“Morgan is such a sweet and caring dog walker. She always keeps us updated and takes such great care of our dog. We feel completely at ease knowing he’s in her hands”

About: I’ve been taking care of my own animals and watching other peoples pets since I was 16. I’ve watched everything from high anxiety dogs to couch potatoes to 24/7 zoomies and I love them all. I myself have a 3 year old golden lab and a 6 year old white heeler and they love every dog they meet so if I’m helping with boarding needs your dog will always have friends to play with! I finished my enlistment with the military end of 2022 and am currently attending school full time online. What that means for your pup is they’ll have me home with them all day to play! On weekends I frequently take my dogs to dog parks or the beach if the weather is nice enough so they can enjoy the outdoors and meet other dogs. I have a fenced in yard and two of my own dogs that love playing with other pups! So your dog will be partying it up with them!
About: I have experience with all types of animals from small to large! I don’t remember a time in my life where we did not own and care for animals! I have cared for horses, goats, chickens, rodents, cats, and dogs. I have experience with animals with specials needs as I have a dog that has seizures, a diabetic cat, and a rescue who is very timid with humans; so I have a lot of understanding and patience with all animals. I can administer insulin and give oral medication to both dogs and cats if required. I am open to meeting you and your pet ahead of any care so that you can meet me and feel comfortable with me watching your beloved pets! Please feel free to message me if you have any questions. I currently work part time on the week days usually only 2-3 days a week and only between the hours of 8-5. My days rotate every other week In your home I can do any routine with your pet that you normally do. Scheduling feeding times, potty breaks, play time in the yard, medications, or anything else they may require. In my home I do have two dogs who love every dog they meet, and a cat who keeps to himself most of the time but does fine with other pets. They have all been around plenty of other animals. We do have a very well fenced back yard. Unfortunately at the moment I will probably not be taking in our home care as we our doing renovations so our house is a bit of a mess for guests.

About: I have taken care of multitude of animals since I was 7. I have a true passion for any and all animals. Ever since I can remember I’ve had snakes, horses, goats, chickens, dogs, cats, and hedgehogs. I’ve house sitted, I’ve walked animals, fed animals, provided medicine and other types of medical care to animals. I’m truly available for anything and will help when needed! I can still provide care on those days as long as we can work around my schedule! In my home, I feed my dogs, walk my dogs, play with them, I also feed and play with my cats, I have to clean out my snake enclosures, I feed the chickens, and I also feed and play around with our bunny. I had one client for a while and I used to stay at their house while also going to work, but I would take care of their older dog who struggled with dementia and ear problems. I would give him medicated baths and rub ear drops in his ear to make sure they were clean. I also would do small chores around their house or any chores they asked me to do. I would spend the night until they came home! I have a lot of animals but I currently have none living with me since I’ve moved for college, except for one cat but it’s my roommates.

About: Hello, my name is Terrell. I am an active duty service member with a wife and four kids. I have owned dogs my entire under bringing and I have also “doggy sat” co-workers pets here and there, which is what brought me to Rover. I’m hoping I can use my off days and spare time to assist others with their pets when needed. I know life can always be unexpected and throw curveballs and I’m here to hopefully help you out. I look forward to hearing from you guys and I can’t wait to meet all the new dogs here in the Clay County area! Thanks for reading my profile. I work Monday - Friday and the occasional weekend once a month. When in my care your loving fur baby will have plenty of time to play as I know several dog parks and open fields around the area. Looking forward to doing my best to fill your pet needs! On work days we go on one walk when I get home and on non working days we do a walk in the morning and afternoon and if they are up for it, dog park day.
“Excellent service!! I was recommended by my friend and this was my first time using rover. Great communication, she did everything that I asked for (even though I asked a lot) She came to the house to meet my dog before the appointment which went smooth. She took 15 pictures, her rover card was a whole book! I could literally imagine exactly what she did with my dog. I would definitely love her to take care of my dog again.”

About: I have been a volunteer at my county animal shelter for more than 12 years. I specialize in socializing and earning the trust of scared dogs. I'm comfortable with all breeds. I am also an active kitten and mom/kitten foster for the shelter. I assist medical staff in surgery prep and recovery. I am able to administer medications including insulin for diabetic animals. I am retired from a long career in health insurance and my 2nd career as a REALTOR. I have full time availability to care for animals. I have a fenced yard. I have 3 dog friendly dogs and 5 cats. Short term boarders can be housed in a bedroom with full comforts and will be integrated as everyone is comfortable. Safety is paramount and not all animals will always appreciate each other so case by case analysis is required.
About: Hi! My name is Kyndle and I have 11 years experience in dog walking, and pet sitting. I used to be a veterinary technician and animals have always been a huge passion of mine. Absolutely nothing in the world makes me happier than bringing animals joy. I have three pups of my own and always treat your loved ones like my own. Please feel free to contact me with any further questions! I’d love to build a client basis and do reoccurring services if possible. Thank you for taking the time to read a little about me! I work full time as a behavior therapist with a maximum schedule of 08:30-17:30. I am happy to modify that with enough notice! We can always work something out! I love when I can meet with my clients owner before being left alone. This gives me the ability to understand and exceed all expectations.

She Treated Them Like They Were Her Own And Kept Me Updated With Lots Of Pictures And Videos, Which I Really Appreciated. I Could Tell They Were Happy, Relaxed, And Well Cared For The Entire Time. Highly Recommend Kimber. I’ll Definitely Be Booking With Her Again!”

“Mango stayed with Mary for a week, and everything went great! This was our first time using her, and she made the whole experience easy and stress-free. She kept us updated, and it was clear Mango was well taken care of and having a good time. We will be using Mary again in the future!”

“Cassandra was amazing with my pup. He is an anxious boy and she took all the steps to ensure he was calm and felt cared for. She sent just the right amount of updates and even returned him with new toys and bones. Happy to have found her!”

“Lindsey & Jose took great care of my pup! They have a wonderful family who all loved on him and made him feel at home. He enjoyed playing with their dogs and running around outside in their fenced yard. They sent pictures and were very responsive. I highly recommend Lindsey & Jose for your pup!”

“Our babies were so well taken care of! It was a long stay and Kelly provided regular updates, letting us know how much fun they were having and adapting. I highly recommend!”

“Janet and Chuck did an amazing job watching our two boys, who were being left with dog sitters for the first time! Our dogs were healthy and happy when we returned, they gave us updates, and they have a fantastic backyard for fur babies.”

“We had an outstanding experience with our Rover sitter, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. From the start, communication was clear, consistent, and professional, which immediately built trust. They took the time to understand Apollo’s routine, needs, and personality, and it showed in every interaction. Apollo was well cared for, comfortable, and genuinely happy during the entire stay. We received regular updates, including photos and notes, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. It was clear that Apollo wasn’t just being watched, he was being cared for with real attention and intention. What stood out most was the level of reliability and care. Everything was handled exactly as discussed, and our home was left in great condition. That level of execution matters. Bottom line, this sitter operates at a high level. Trustworthy, attentive, and fully engaged. We will absolutely be booking with them again.”
“She took Legend at a last minute request with no issues. She kept me updated with messages and photos. Legend was good with her and I will definitely use her again.”

“Jacob and Cheyenne were awesome and provided a stress free boarding experience for both my pup and i. I received a ton of pictures of my boy running around having the time of his life. They both listened and ensured that my dog’s needs were met and loved him like he was their own. Drax will definitely be returning!”

“Churro had so much fun at Vigi's house! We were impressed with how many videos and pictures we received while we were away! And Churro ate all of her food, which is unusual for overnight stays! Highly recommend Vigi!”
