To provide the best and safest care for your pet, here are a few details I like to know ahead of time: • Specific times, portion sizes, treats allowed, and any allergies or sensitivities that I need to be aware of. • Any current meds, how and when they’re administered, and tips for making it easier (like hiding it in peanut butter or cheese!). • Usual potty times, sleep schedules, favorite toys, daily walks, and anything that makes your pet feel relaxed and comfortable. • Is your pet shy, social, anxious, or high-energy? Are there any triggers (like other dogs, loud noises, strangers, etc.)? • Past injuries, mobility issues, sensitivities, or anything else I should be mindful of during visits. • How to enter/lock up, any alarm system info, and anything special I should know (like watering plants or bringing in mail).
A typical day
I always aim to keep your pet’s routine as close to normal as possible, and I’ll communicate with you throughout to share updates and photos so you know your pet is in great hands.
