About: I’ve always felt a special connection to animals and I love spending time with them. I grew up with 4 dogs, 5 cats, and 2 rabbits, so I’m comfortable around lots of different animals! I accept pets of all breeds, sizes, and ages, and my top priority is caring for your pet and keeping them healthy and happy! About: I have been taking care of dogs for as long as I can remember. I personally have grown up with dogs, and have been taking care of my neighbors dogs since I was 9. At a young age I started a dog walking service in my neighborhood where I would take dogs for walks check in on pets while owners were at work and even took their pets into my own home while owners were away on vacation. I am back home from college looking to make some extra money while spending time doing things I love, spending time with dogs. I am currently available anytime on the weekends, however weekdays availability is dependent on week to week basis! I love animals and do not hesitate to spend any moment I can with them. If given the chance I would love to spend time with animals while being at school away from my precious pups and cats.

About: No dog deserves the kennel! Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.

About: Currently just accepting previously established/contacted owners! Growing up my family owned a dog as well as a cat, and I helped tend to the care of both animals in the home. I believe that having this responsibility engraved in me from a young age has helped shape me to be a solid pet care taker now. I was able to experience first hand the changes in a pets life as they age, both behaviorally and physically. I also have taken care of friends and family’s pets in their homes while they are away, most owning multiple types of pets from dogs, cats, and even bearded dragons. I am currently working a full time and part time job; the hours of the full time job can vary on the specific day depending upon the released schedule, but hours of shift typically vary from 8a-4p or 1p-9p; as for the part time job, I work Wed-Fri 1am-6am. outside of said working hours, I would be fully attentive to the pets and inside the home/providing direct care. With this, I seem to best fit with clients who have on-site jobs and a work schedule that allows the pet to be left alone up to 8hrs, as it more closely resembles the pets usual experience within the home. (Updated 4.5.26) Please feel free to ask what my work shifts are for the time you’re interested in potentially booking! I can not unfortunately offer to care for pets in my own home, as it is unfenced and has a cat residing that does best as a single pet. This is something I can recognize, so it is best that I come to the clients home. A pet communicates with people in so many ways, and the best way to create a safe environment for both you and the pet is to understand those behaviors. I have a good understanding of reading an animal and when boundaries are being set, whether they are done with play time and need space, or need some extra attention. Any pet care details left by the owner, I follow very closely to give the pet the closest experience they can get to a typical day in the home with the owner.

About: I am a responsible, trustworthy, and communicative pet sitter getting my PhD at Syracuse University. I have been pet sitting on Rover for over a year and can be relied on to provide excellent care for your beloved pets! Growing up in an apartment, I was always around cats and have been taking care of my own for the last 8 years. I am a total cat lady! I have cat-sit for many friends, colleagues, and family members. I've also always loved being around friend and family members' dogs and have dog sit several times, including walking and overnight care. I am patient, respectful, and reliable for providing clear and consistent communication. As a grad student, I am also dependable for responsible and respectful service. I know that trusting someone with your pets is a big responsibility, and I will do everything I can to give your furry family members as pleasant and relaxing an experience as possible while you're away! As a PhD student, my summers are very flexible as I am mostly working on independent research projects. I have a car and am able to travel for the visits. Outside of short travel dates, I am usually available throughout the day and can complete multiple visits in a day if needed. When meeting new animals, I always allow the animal to dictate how much they want me to interact with them. Along with the basics of feeding and cleaning up, I always make sure to provide the animals with some play time and comfort. I am happy to talk about your animal's specific needs and how I can best care for them.
