About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have always had a deep love for them. While I’ve primarily worked with horses and cows, I’ve also spent years around dogs and cats. We have our own rescue pup at home, and I’ve helped care for everything from small lap dogs to German Shepherds. There’s always been a family or friends dog around, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or just keeping them company, I treat every animal like they’re my own. Rover is my full time job, so we can work together to fit your pet into my day! About: I live in Strathmore and work downtown. My absolute favorite things in life are my sons (who are amazing human beings!) and animals. Now that my sons are independent and out of the house, I enjoy being around and caring for animals. I have experience with all kinds of animals (e.g., dogs, cats, tarantulas, snakes, insects, and more). And I have had and loved dogs of all sizes and temperaments, from mini dachshunds with serious Napoleon complexes to larger-than-life Rottweilers and Great Danes. Happy to work around your needs. I work in downtown Syracuse, so I can help with mid-day potty breaks for pets who live in Syracuse when needed. I have a fenced-in yard and live right across from Woodland Reservoir, a terrific place for walks if your pet needs to stay with me. I'm also happy to stay at clients' homes.

About: I know how hard it can be to find reliable and trustworthy pet care. I will always be intentional with the care I provide and will never hesitate to go above and beyond as I would want for my pets. I work Monday through Wednesday from 9 am to 5 pm. I am fully available all other days and am happy to stay at your house on the days I go to work as well. I have a large fenced in yard that is empty minus a secured shed. We also have a mostly empty dining room for extra space and we allow all pets on all furniture.

About: No dog deserves the kennel! Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.

About: For many years, I aided my aunt who owns her own dog grooming salon, keeping the dogs occupied and bathing them! I have also taken care of many friends and family members dogs, even cats! I had two dogs, two Guinea pigs, and recently just adopted a cat! I volunteer weekly at a bunny farm cleaning their cages and spending time with them. I enjoy all animals and being a difference in their lives! I currently have a full time job, typically work week hours, with some overtime so I will need to work around that! About: Hi! I recently graduated from Clemson University and am home in NY for the next year. I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, lizards, turtles, hamsters, frogs, you name it for as long as I can remember. During my time at school, I’ve fostered two dogs from local shelters and loved every minute of it. I want to continue to help in any way I can while I’m home. Plus, who wouldn’t want to spend their free time with animals? I work a typical 9-5 schedule during the week, so I will have to be away from the house during the weekdays. With that being said, I’d love to spend every second of my mornings, evenings & weekends with your pets! I will care for your pets as you see fit. Of course, I would love to spend as much time with them as possible, taking them on walks or drives or even just playing in the house or yard. About: I have professional dog walking and in-house dog sitting experience as well as a deep love and appreciation for the wisdom of dogs. From 30 minute - 1 hour walks and visits to longer term care, I’d be thrilled to keep your dog happy when you are away. I’d say I’m quite receptive to dog personalities and can provide pets, cuddles, scratches, walks, dances, etc. Maybe your dog isn’t into cuddling and playing around — that’s okay too. I respect that and will keep a healthy distance. We will walk. We may talk. I can send you quality candid photos and even possibly montage video of our time together with my filmmaking background and skills. I can promise safe and exciting play sessions of any length.

About: Currently just accepting previously established/contacted owners! Growing up my family owned a dog as well as a cat, and I helped tend to the care of both animals in the home. I believe that having this responsibility engraved in me from a young age has helped shape me to be a solid pet care taker now. I was able to experience first hand the changes in a pets life as they age, both behaviorally and physically. I also have taken care of friends and family’s pets in their homes while they are away, most owning multiple types of pets from dogs, cats, and even bearded dragons. I am currently working a full time and part time job; the hours of the full time job can vary on the specific day depending upon the released schedule, but hours of shift typically vary from 8a-4p or 1p-9p; as for the part time job, I work Wed-Fri 1am-6am. outside of said working hours, I would be fully attentive to the pets and inside the home/providing direct care. With this, I seem to best fit with clients who have on-site jobs and a work schedule that allows the pet to be left alone up to 8hrs, as it more closely resembles the pets usual experience within the home. (Updated 4.5.26) Please feel free to ask what my work shifts are for the time you’re interested in potentially booking! I can not unfortunately offer to care for pets in my own home, as it is unfenced and has a cat residing that does best as a single pet. This is something I can recognize, so it is best that I come to the clients home. A pet communicates with people in so many ways, and the best way to create a safe environment for both you and the pet is to understand those behaviors. I have a good understanding of reading an animal and when boundaries are being set, whether they are done with play time and need space, or need some extra attention. Any pet care details left by the owner, I follow very closely to give the pet the closest experience they can get to a typical day in the home with the owner.
