About: Hi! I recently graduated from Clemson University and am home in NY for the next year. I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, lizards, turtles, hamsters, frogs, you name it for as long as I can remember. During my time at school, I’ve fostered two dogs from local shelters and loved every minute of it. I want to continue to help in any way I can while I’m home. Plus, who wouldn’t want to spend their free time with animals? I work a typical 9-5 schedule during the week, so I will have to be away from the house during the weekdays. With that being said, I’d love to spend every second of my mornings, evenings & weekends with your pets! I will care for your pets as you see fit. Of course, I would love to spend as much time with them as possible, taking them on walks or drives or even just playing in the house or yard. If your pets are fairly low maintenance, feel free to let me know what you need done and I will do so and then get out of your hair. :)

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have always had a deep love for them. While I’ve primarily worked with horses and cows, I’ve also spent years around dogs and cats. We have our own rescue pup at home, and I’ve helped care for everything from small lap dogs to German Shepherds. There’s always been a family or friends dog around, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or just keeping them company, I treat every animal like they’re my own. Rover is my full time job, so we can work together to fit your pet into my day! Whether it’s early mornings, midday check-ins, or evenings, we can work out a perfect time to meet you and your pets needs! When I’m caring for pets in their home, I do my best to stick to their normal routine so they feel safe and comfortable. About: I know how hard it can be to find reliable and trustworthy pet care. I will always be intentional with the care I provide and will never hesitate to go above and beyond as I would want for my pets. I work Monday through Wednesday from 9 am to 5 pm. I am fully available all other days and am happy to stay at your house on the days I go to work as well. I have a large fenced in yard that is empty minus a secured shed. We also have a mostly empty dining room for extra space and we allow all pets on all furniture.

About: For many years, I aided my aunt who owns her own dog grooming salon, keeping the dogs occupied and bathing them! I have also taken care of many friends and family members dogs, even cats! I had two dogs, two Guinea pigs, and recently just adopted a cat! I volunteer weekly at a bunny farm cleaning their cages and spending time with them. I enjoy all animals and being a difference in their lives! I currently have a full time job, typically work week hours, with some overtime so I will need to work around that! Available weekends and late night!! I have a park nearby and am familiar with safe areas for dog walking! I think it is important to listen to the client and will do everything I can to ensure your pets safety and help you feel at ease knowing they are in good hands! About: No dog deserves the kennel! Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.

About: I live in Strathmore and work downtown. My absolute favorite things in life are my sons (who are amazing human beings!) and animals. Now that my sons are independent and out of the house, I enjoy being around and caring for animals. I have experience with all kinds of animals (e.g., dogs, cats, tarantulas, snakes, insects, and more). And I have had and loved dogs of all sizes and temperaments, from mini dachshunds with serious Napoleon complexes to larger-than-life Rottweilers and Great Danes. About: Currently just accepting previously established/contacted owners! Growing up my family owned a dog as well as a cat, and I helped tend to the care of both animals in the home. I believe that having this responsibility engraved in me from a young age has helped shape me to be a solid pet care taker now. I was able to experience first hand the changes in a pets life as they age, both behaviorally and physically. I also have taken care of friends and family’s pets in their homes while they are away, most owning multiple types of pets from dogs, cats, and even bearded dragons. I am currently working a full time and part time job; the hours of the full time job can vary on the specific day depending upon the released schedule, but hours of shift typically vary from 8a-4p or 1p-9p; as for the part time job, I work Wed-Fri 1am-6am. outside of said working hours, I would be fully attentive to the pets and inside the home/providing direct care. With this, I seem to best fit with clients who have on-site jobs and a work schedule that allows the pet to be left alone up to 8hrs, as it more closely resembles the pets usual experience within the home. I can not unfortunately offer to care for pets in my own home, as it is unfenced and has a cat residing that does best as a single pet. This is something I can recognize, so it is best that I come to the clients home. A pet communicates with people in so many ways, and the best way to create a safe environment for both you and the pet is to understand those behaviors. I have a good understanding of reading an animal and when boundaries are being set, whether they are done with play time and need space, or need some extra attention. Any pet care details left by the owner, I follow very closely to give the pet the closest experience they can get to a typical day in the home with the owner.

About: I have been pet sitting since I was 16 years old. I have been involved in animal rescue since 1996 after returning home from the Air Force. I am a veterinary technician. My whole life revolves around animals... caring for them, being an advocate for them... being a voice for the voiceless. I have experience with cats, dogs, exotics and ... well, everything! I have a very flexible schedule, as I drive for Uber. I also have all of my rescue cats that I take care of, so I'm rarely out of town and usually available on short notice. I can only care for animals in your home, not mine. Rest assured, they will be treated as if they were one of my babies!

About: I have pet sat for neighbors and family friends for years and for long periods of time. I have taken care of dogs, cats, guinea pigs and fish. I also have experience working with reptiles and snakes as an intern for an environment education center. I took care of a box turtle, corn snake, and painted turtle. I am in college full time but am willing to watch or stop by when I am not currently taking a class. I am a junior at SUNY ESF. And have a relatively light schedule that would allow me to dedicate hours to your pet if needed. As I live in an apartment I do not have any pets nor can I board pets. However, I have my own car so I can travel to take care of pets. If you wish to have overnight care I can stay on a couch or blow up mattress by your pet for safe company.

About: I've been taking care of animals since 7th grade. My family had their own dog and I used to care for animals around the neighborhood including cats and other animals. I take care of my former co workers dogs and my dad's dog. I'm a very active person, so I love to play outside and go for walks. I work as a teaching assistant full time and school gets out at 2:15 so I have plenty of time in the afternoon most days and could always take time off if needed for a long weekend. Plus school breaks I have plenty of time. I live in an apartment that has small dog parks outside. I'm very comfortable with letting dogs out in fenced in areas and taking them on leash for walks.

My goal is to make a lasting career professionally as a Veterinarian Technician in the near future, and in the mean time provide any service's I can to pets and owners in need. 5 years ago I spent some time in Missouri where I helped provide care for kennel dogs for around 6 months, including providing baths, medicine, walks, food, water, playtime, attention and love to all of the dogs. Since then I have returned to Syracuse and have helped care for my 6 year old Jack Russell terroir (Luna) and my 4 year old kitten (Buggsy). Buggsy became apart of my family last summer when a friend discovered 7 kittens in her backyard who needed loving homes. Thankfully, that goal was achieved as all kittens were placed in homes and spayed and neutered (including the neighborhood feral mother and father cats to help stop any kittens being left on the street in the future!) And as time has gone on, my love, patience, and determination to work with animals has only grown. Thank you again for your time! I am available on every other weekend from Friday to Sunday. I get one day off during the week which changes, but it will be marked on my calendar for availability. I am willing and hoping to work with any potential clients schedules. Along with that I always check fences/gates before bringing an animal outside in case of other animals or people. I also like to scan the surrounding and verify theirs is no unsafe food or material that the animal could possibly ingest in and out of the home. I also always make sure to check and refill any water or food as necessary and clean up any accidents or trips to the bathroom in or out of the home. And ensuring to lock all doors and secure all gates while entering and exiting the home. I love sending photos and keeping you the parent/owner updated as you wish! As well as locating, cleaning, and properly disposing of any trips outside to the bathroom. It’s also important that I check and refill any water or food to the correct measurement/request of owner as necessary. and clean up any accidents or trips to the bathroom in or out of the home. And ensuring your pet gets as much playtime, pets, and or cuddles as they desire. I know each animal can have very different personalities so I am here to help provide them as much comfort as possible. Animals have always brought joy to my life, and I love the positive impact they have on my mental health and overall well-being.My schedule is very flexible, which gives me plenty of time to provide attentive, reliable care and spend quality time with the pets I look after. I live in a spacious house with plenty of room for pets to play and relax. I also have a partially fenced backyard and a front yard where pets can enjoy supervised outdoor time. In addition, I live near several parks and green spaces that are perfect for walks and exploring, always with your pet’s safety as my top priority. I am currently unemployed but going to back grad school in policy studies at su so I will have pretty of time to devote to taking care of pets.
