About: Hi! I recently graduated from Clemson University and am home in NY for the next year. I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, lizards, turtles, hamsters, frogs, you name it for as long as I can remember. During my time at school, I’ve fostered two dogs from local shelters and loved every minute of it. I want to continue to help in any way I can while I’m home. Plus, who wouldn’t want to spend their free time with animals? I work a typical 9-5 schedule during the week, so I will have to be away from the house during the weekdays. With that being said, I’d love to spend every second of my mornings, evenings & weekends with your pets! I will care for your pets as you see fit. Of course, I would love to spend as much time with them as possible, taking them on walks or drives or even just playing in the house or yard. If your pets are fairly low maintenance, feel free to let me know what you need done and I will do so and then get out of your hair. :)

“Jessie was phenomenal watching Keena! I highly recommend booking Jessie to care for your pets. The level of genuine, positive care Keena received was amazing. My original care plans fell through and Jessie was kind enough to accept my last-minute request. Not only was Jessie gracious enough to accept help me out, but Jessie came by to meet Keena and make her feel comfortable before watching her. Jessie gave many updates, sent photos, and was always playing with Keena during visits; clearly making her feel comfortable. Jessie also dealt with some fear issues my dog was having, and did everything possible to make Keena feel better. When I returned from my trip, Keena was wagging and happy as could be, which told me she was well taken care of while I was away!”

About: First and foremost, Thank you for your interest into my profile! It is truly an honor to have the opportunity to help partake in care and activities with your special pets of all species and sizes! My goal is to make a lasting career professionally as a Veterinarian Technician in the near future, and in the mean time provide any service's I can to pets and owners in need. 5 years ago I spent some time in Missouri where I helped provide care for kennel dogs for around 6 months, including providing baths, medicine, walks, food, water, playtime, attention and love to all of the dogs. Since then I have returned to Syracuse and have helped care for my 6 year old Jack Russell terroir (Luna) and my 4 year old kitten (Buggsy). Buggsy became apart of my family last summer when a friend discovered 7 kittens in her backyard who needed loving homes. Thankfully, that goal was achieved as all kittens were placed in homes and spayed and neutered (including the neighborhood feral mother and father cats to help stop any kittens being left on the street in the future!) And as time has gone on, my love, patience, and determination to work with animals has only grown. Thank you again for your time! I am available on every other weekend from Friday to Sunday. I get one day off during the week which changes, but it will be marked on my calendar for availability. I am willing and hoping to work with any potential clients schedules. I would like to make sure I can ask for any possible extra information needed to help ensure the best treatment for your animals. Along with that I always check fences/gates before bringing an animal outside in case of other animals or people. I also like to scan the surrounding and verify theirs is no unsafe food or material that the animal could possibly ingest in and out of the home. I also always make sure to check and refill any water or food as necessary and clean up any accidents or trips to the bathroom in or out of the home. And ensuring to lock all doors and secure all gates while entering and exiting the home. I love sending photos and keeping you the parent/owner updated as you wish! But I am willing to work weekends if needed! I usually prefer hours anywhere from 10am to 7pm but I am willing to work around that to better fit your schedule if needed! It is very important for me to ask any possible questions on extra information needed to help ensure the best treatment not only for your animals but the safety and care of your home as well. Routinely for each visit I ensure fences/gates and doors to property are properly locked and closed after entering the home and after exiting. Especially before bringing an animal outside in case of other animals or people. I also like to scan the surrounding and verify there is no unsafe food or material that the animal could possibly ingest in and out of the home. As well as locating, cleaning, and properly disposing of any trips outside to the bathroom. It’s also important that I check and refill any water or food to the correct measurement/request of owner as necessary. and clean up any accidents or trips to the bathroom in or out of the home. And ensuring your pet gets as much playtime, pets, and or cuddles as they desire. I know each animal can have very different personalities so I am here to help provide them as much comfort as possible. Whether that be relaxing with some belly rubs or running around and playing catch, I am ready to work with both ends of the spectrum!
