About: I'm an enthusiastic dog walker and sitter that has a passion for dogs and rescuing them. I have been involved in dog rescue and fostering in the Syracuse area for a number of years. I've cared for a number of my own dogs and cats from young to seniors. I've also been a foster parent to a number of dogs when rescues needed someone. I can handle the most challenging of dogs down to little babies and everything in between. Your dog will get plenty of love and attention when I'm around! I give all dogs the same love and affection I would give my own dog and see the importance of cuddle and buddy time along with good exercise. I show confidence when I'm with a dog so that they know there is trust with me from the beginning. I currently work part time, so have plenty of time to spend with your fur baby. I am always available after 3:00 p.m. during the week, before 8:00 a.m. or anytime on the weekends. I've got a very pet friendly home. I live in a single story, ranch house that has a fully fenced back yard. I do not have children at home that we would need to worry about and I'm very respectful if needed to go into a client's home. This was the first time we have boarded our 15 month old GSD for more than 1 night, so we obviously wanted to find someone who would be good with her while we were on vacation for 10 days. Arya is not only good with his boarding practices, but he is also fantastic with “reading” dogs and has a deep understanding of them and their individual behaviors/needs. Nika has not been properly socialized because of my neurological condition, and difficulty walking her. She lunges at other dogs and has pulled me over. Arya had this frantic behavior and her “skittish” energy around other dogs diminished by the second day! About: I had my own baby who unfortunately passed this spring and am looking to fill my life with more kitties. About: I’ve always been an animal lover and have experience caring for dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I’ve helped with daily walks, feeding routines, administering basic medications, and providing lots of attention and companionship. I understand how important it is to keep pets on their normal routine, and I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I treat every pet like they’re my own and prioritize clear communication with regular updates and photos. I have a fully fenced in backyard (although I can also take your pet for walks as well if preferred!) and am available to give lots of cuddles all day as I work from home full time! I work remote full time and have a fully fenced in back yard so I am able to watch your dog or cat full time. On the weekends I am usually out hiking or with friends, and can take your pet on those adventures as well! I also have a small 30 lb house trained and friendly doggy named Ramsey who is always down to play and/or nap :) I am able to give your pet around the clock care as I work from home, and my dog Ramsey is always ready to make new friends! I do allow pets on the furniture, just not in my bed, and have a fully fenced in yard for playtime, as well as the ability to take your furry friend on walks as well! Please let me know what your needs are, I want their stay to be as comfortable as possible!

About: (Saying up front that I am not comfortable using a prong collar, so if that’s something you use on your dog, I don’t believe I’m a right fit for the service you want. Please don’t invite me to your home and surprise me with a prong collar—I will not use it on your dog.) Now here’s my bio: No dog deserves the kennel! Why settle for the pound when they can spend a night in a home with an owner-on-loan; either in your house on in a house that has raised two other pets from puppyhood to old age? Admittedly, there are stairs and hardwood floors in my house, but I have bought several carpets for my old dog to move around on and can lay them down for your dog’s convenience. We also have a big backyard that your dog will love to run around in (and no predators, unless you count woodchucks and geese) and a long leash that can go all the way to the end of the property line. I love dogs and after a day with me, your furry friend will mistake me for his mother. I’m most busy Wednesdays-Thursdays, so I marked them out on the calendar, but if petsitting is required for several days, that is easy to accommodate! I also don’t mind waking up every few hours to take a dog out—I have not quite reached the age where sleep is important. I won’t allow your dog to roam around outside unleashed (sorry, but I don’t want to lose them!), but when they’re outside, I’ll make sure they have the freedom to run around to their heart’s content. Additionally, I’m willing to walk them in any weather they’ll put up with and even let them sleep on the couch/spare bed, if they’re not too dirty.

This is the first real off leash (fenced in yard) play she's had with a dog closer to her size and she loved it. They really made her feel welcome and taken care of and all that play left her tuckered out. We even got ideas for a couple new toys for her.”

About: I’ve always had pets growing up and say I would be a vet if I wasn’t so squeamish. I’ve always dreamt of having a farm filled with animals when I grow up, or working with them in any capacity I can. If caring for pets in my home, I provide a safe, calm, and loving environment where pets can relax, play, and receive plenty of supervision and affection. I pay close attention to each pet’s individual needs, personality, and routine to ensure they feel happy, comfortable, and well cared for at all times. About: For many years, I aided my aunt who owns her own dog grooming salon, keeping the dogs occupied and bathing them! I have also taken care of many friends and family members dogs, even cats! I had two dogs, two Guinea pigs, and recently just adopted a cat! I volunteer weekly at a bunny farm cleaning their cages and spending time with them. I enjoy all animals and being a difference in their lives! I currently have a full time job, typically work week hours, with some overtime so I will need to work around that! Available weekends and late night!! I have a park nearby and am familiar with safe areas for dog walking! I think it is important to listen to the client and will do everything I can to ensure your pets safety and help you feel at ease knowing they are in good hands! About: Hello, Peewee here to tell you more about my mom. She had a family dog and then just one of her own before me but she's pretty great! She has experience giving me different medicines and following strict diets when I get sick. I completed a puppy course and even got a certificate with my picture on it. My mom still makes me and all of my friends follow the rules but we have lots of fun! She isn't always that busy, we are together most of the time! And the good thing is that when she leaves, she usually takes me with her! Please send any and all requests so that she can go through them all and see if we can work something out. We live in a house with really big yard that is fully fenced in. Most of the time I like to just lay on the deck and sunbathe but when I get a little hyper, she's either playing with me or we go to the dog park, on playdates with other dog friends, and on hikes (my favorite). *Please know that if your furbaby is anything like me, they are always welcomed anywhere we might go and I'd love to interact with them any time! **If your furbaby doesn't get along well with others, no problem, my mom will just leave me home and I will watch our house!
About: Growing up my family owned a dog as well as a cat, and I helped tend to the care of both animals in the home. I believe that having this responsibility engraved in me from a young age has helped shape me to be a solid pet care taker now. I was able to experience first hand the changes in a pets life as they age, both behaviorally and physically. I also have taken care of friends and family’s pets in their homes while they are away, most owning multiple types of pets from dogs, cats, and even bearded dragons. I currently work a full-time job at a bakery. My shifts/days off would be: Tuesday-Friday 4am-2pm Saturday-Sunday open availability For any overnight sitting needs, I will probably do best with an owner looking for a weekend sitter as my 10hr shifts can be a long time away from the home. On the other hand, for any drop in visits or walks I am free after I get out of work at 2pm to assist in any late afternoon care! As well as my open availability on the weekends I can not unfortunately offer to care for pets in my own home, as it is unfenced and has a cat residing that does best as a single pet. This is something I can recognize, so it is best that I come to the clients home. A pet communicates with people in so many ways, and the best way to create a safe environment for both you and the pet is to understand those behaviors. I have a good understanding of reading an animal and when boundaries are being set, whether they are done with play time and need space, or need some extra attention. Any pet care details left by the owner, I follow very closely to give the pet the closest experience they can get to a typical day in the home with the owner.
About: I have never taken care of pets professionally, but I have had pets in my house since I was a baby. My first pet was a rabbit. I have had dogs, cats, fish, mice, hamster and a rat. I currently have a dog and 2 cats that are rescues. I am a stay at home mom. My daughter is in Pre-K and is home Tuesday and Thursday, so she comes with me on Rover jobs. She’s been doing this since she was born and loves it. I have plenty of experience with dogs and cats, if you just need someone to let them out to use the bathroom, take them on a walk, or just let them stretch and play, I’m the person for the job

“AMAZING CARE!! This was the first time we have boarded our 15 month old GSD for more than 1 night, so we obviously wanted to find someone who would be good with her while we were on vacation for 10 days. Arya is not only good with his boarding practices, but he is also fantastic with “reading” dogs and has a deep understanding of them and their individual behaviors/needs. Nika has not been properly socialized because of my neurological condition, and difficulty walking her. She lunges at other dogs and has pulled me over. Arya had this frantic behavior and her “skittish” energy around other dogs diminished by the second day! There were daily videos (often 2-3) of her doing different things (walking, eating, interacting with his 3 dogs, lying in the crate, etc.) Excellent communication, and immediate responses to questions.
