“Michael was great with our very energetic doodle Cooper. He was very reliable and great with communication. I loved receiving all the updates each day which made me feel at ease while we were away on vacation.”

“Lizz saved the day for us! We had a family emergency come up and had to leave town last minute. Lizz was able to cover all the walks in our absence. She gave us great feedback and won over our shy pup. Highly recommend.”

About: I have an Australian Shepherd named Dexter who I love taking on all kinds of adventures! He's been across the country, on multi-day backpacking trips and up mountains! I walk or run my dog at least once everyday. He comes with my on any adventure that he can. I think its our duty as owners to make sure our dogs are physically and mentally stimulated while keeping them safe. Exercising a dog is great but you also want to make sure they are safe. On dog walks, this means bringing plenty of water and monitoring them to make sure that the physical activity is something they are still enjoying by looking for signs of distress.

About: I began volunteering at my city's animal shelter at the age of thirteen, dog walking, and I quickly began taking on more responsibilities at the shelter from there. By the time I was fifteen, I was volunteering in vet services, helping with adoption events, and doing critter care, where I socialized and took care of small animals like rabbits, rats, guinea pigs, and mice. During my time as a volunteer, I began a veterinary assisting program. I spent five days a week providing care to dogs, cats, horses, and rodents while learning proper medical procedures. Within that care, I attentively followed tailored feeding and kenneling instructions meant to keep the animals safe and healthy. Through my time at my tech school, I gained my OSHA 10 healthcare-focused certification, my HIV, Bloodborne Pathogen certification, and I graduated with my veterinary assisting certification. After graduating, I began working at my city's animal shelter as a Student Day Laborer and Veterinary Assistant, as well as pet sitting for people living in and around my city. At the animal shelter, I handled dogs with various behavioral challenges, including nipping, jumping, barking, pulling, lunging, and multiple kinds of reactivity. I maintained a clean and tidy environment by cleaning up many kinds of bodily fluids and parasites to ensure the comfort and health of the animals. During my time there, I fostered several dogs from the euthanasia list to provide them with proper enrichment and training to make them less frustrated and more adoptable. I have experience providing medical care and enrichment to puppies as young as three weeks old and senior dogs. I am a college student, but I am currently on summer break, so I am available every day except for Thursdays and Fridays. I am very flexible with my schedule when it comes to work and am willing to work with people on timing. I am capable of providing medical care and following specific feeding instructions that have been provided to me by the owner. I provide appropriate enrichment and exercise for different age ranges and breeds.

About: I've taken care of dogs who love everyone and those who are as choosy as cats in their people. I share my home with four cats, each one with their own style of pets and play (and their own diets). Every animal, just like every person, has their own personality. My goal is to pay attention and interact with them in a way that makes them feel safe, loved, and...if they're up for it...entertained. Need someone to walk your canine companions for a couple miles and then follow detailed instructions on which doggo gets what food and treats? That's me. Does your cat need someone to feed it and then sit in quietly in the same room for company without insisting on pets? That's me, too. Additionally, I have experience with administering medication to both cats and dogs (pills, inhalers, injections). I'm a remote-first professional, so my schedule is fairly flexible. Animals thrive with consistent routines, so I make a point to arrive on time and follow all owner directions. I regularly book between 7 AM and 9 PM, but currently my schedule is tight. Morning appointments are available if timing is flexible +\- a couple hours. My goal is to ensure that pets feel as safe and loved. Animals thrive on routine, so I'll be on time and follow your directions to ensure as much normalcy as possible while you're away. I have four cats, all of whom have different diets, play styles, and stranger tolerance, so I'm used to paying close attention to details. I'll earn your pets' trust by following your directions and adapting my approach to their needs. As a pet parent, I understand the importance of knowing how your companions are doing while you're away. I'll always check in with you and include pictures and updates. I'll never hesitate to reach out if I have any concerns or questions. While your pet is in my care, they are my number one priority.

“Autumn did a great job getting nico to feel comfortable and trusting and left nicely detailed notes. I had a family emergency and had to get a dog walker quickly and Autumn was very flexible and helpful. Thank you!”

About: I have experience in vet med, so I will be able to keep a detail-oriented eye on your pet's health and wellbeing. If it comes to it, I can take your beloved companion to the vet clinic while you're out of town and see to any at-home care they need, no problem. I currently make my income entirely through app-based freelance work, making it easy to interweave schedules. I can check in on your pet, go out and work for 2-3 hours, then come back again. ADHD tendencies serve me well in this situation-- I can focus on a show, a book, or working on my laptop, while still being peripherally aware of what your pet is doing, and taking time to check in and give lots of scritches and belly-rubs. I live in a shared housing situation, so I have plenty of experience leaving an environment that is not my own exactly as I found it.

“My boy Zero loved his walk with Erin! Great communication before, during, and after their walk together. I was sent plenty of photos to warm my heart while I was stuck at work. I would highly recommend Erin for any of your pet related needs :)”

About: Hello! My name is Lauren and I have been taking care of animals on and off since I was a little girl. I have sat for puppies, seniors, cats, dogs, and everything in between. I have a bird and three dogs of my own, including a Saint Bernard. I love animals and I am hoping to get to meet some new ones before my graduation. I am a running start student so my weekdays are very flexible and open. I work at a daycare center on Sunday mornings, but aside from that, my weekends are completely free. Because of my flexible schedule, I am able to take pets on walks/potty breaks as often as needed. I always make an effort to tidy up toys or the home in general before leaving and I am very comfortable crating/feeding/playing with dogs of any size.

“Candace is a miracle worker dog walker. Our Scout is a special needs dog, very cautious, apprehensive of anything and anyone new. Candace was able to win her trust and gave us the freedom of knowing we could go away for an entire day unconcerned about her well being. Highly recommend Candace except on days when we need her!”

About: I've had dogs my whole life. I currently dog sit for my daughter's dog (a 2 year old golden retriever) and I would love to walk and/or take care of your dogs too! Retired with lots of free time! I have a flexible job and love getting outdoors and walking, so having a dog with me sounds great. I have a fenced yard and am comfortable walking on leashes with harnesses. Happy to do whatever makes your dogs comfortable, just let me know.

About: I've grown up with dogs and cats and have been pet/house sitting for family friends since about 16 years old. I've recently (Dec 2024) rescued my own first pup, a German Shepherd mix and have experience training and house breaking a high energy/high drive puppy since 3.5 months old (she's almost a year old now). I've also cared for a senior dog and given oral medication/ear drops. I look forward to meeting and caring for some new fluffy friends! I work from home part time starting at 0630 and usually finished by 09-1000. After that I take my pup to run at the park or for a walk/jog that is usually finished before lunch. I am generally free mid-day through the afternoons, but I am very flexible with my schedule. Until the end of the August, I cannot offer day care or boarding. I do have a fenced a yard and plenty of space for doggy guests when the time comes! I am able to do drop in visits and walks until then, so whatever feeding, potty breaks, exercise, medication, or other needs your dog has, I am able to come by and provide that throughout the day!

About: I've house and pet sit for family friends and we always have a good time. I have a special connection with dogs and love to spend time with them whenever I can. My seasonal job is ending, so I will have plenty of time for taking care of pets! I hope to do this at least part time to keep some money coming in. I love to play with dogs (and cats)! Going on walks, playing fetch, I love a dog's energy! Tell me which toy is their favorite, we will have a blast!

“Anna was so helpful, consistent and caring when we needed someone trustworthy and patient to walk our dog. She listened to all of our worries and wishes and took great care of him. We are so happy that our sweet but stubborn Boxer/Pitbull has a new friend!”

About: Years ago my Mother gave me a card. It said, “The more I know men the more I love my dog.” My family has always had dogs and cats too. Once having a discussion with my guy he said, “even the dog ranks higher than me!” A dog is more than a pet. They are a companion who loves unconditionally. Who is ready to play or not. Will always listen and never rejects a belly rub. I genuinely prefer canines over people. Recently read the book “Dog Sense.” There is so much more about these wonderful creatures that it should be required reading before anyone takes on the responsibility of owning a companion. I will give your family member the respect and genuine kindness it deserves. Thank you for your consideration.

“Thanks for your care of our pup!”

Donald C.
“Don watched my golden retriever, Daisy, while my husband and I were out of town, and she clearly had a blast! We got regular updates from him about how Daisy was doing, how she was eating, and what they did every day. She had a great time with him going on 3-4 walks a day (more than I get to take her!), playing tug as much as she wanted, and getting all the treats and pets. Don also kept our house spotless - we could barely tell that we had someone in our home. I will be a repeat customer!”

“Took my pup for a good walk while I had a medical appointment—would book again!”

Carlene F.
“I've known Carlene for over 10 years and I can easily say she is the most ethical person and has the biggest heart of anyone I know, Many times I've heard her say "I am dog", and I believe her. She has many pets and no matter the size they all matter to her deeply. At stop lights she will roll down her window and talk to the dog with it's head hanging out of the window of the car in the next lane. When my cat got himself turned inside out by a neighbor's dog Carlene was the first person I called for help - and she was right there with her medical training ready to do whatever was needed - and years later I still have the little bugger. When it comes to leaving my family members in someone's care, Carlene is always my first choice.”
