“We have been working with Jessica for a year now. She is incredibly reliable and communicative. Very patient with our 17-month old puppies high energy behaviors. Our dogs love her as part of the family. We definitely recommend her!”

About: I still have few spots available in May, June and part of July, so book your pet sitting now! Sedro-Woolley, Bellingham and Mount Vernon! As a school bus driver, I work 6-10 AM, then have few hours break and go back to my afternoon drive 2-6 PM. To ensure proper care for animals, I like to book clients no further than a 30 min drive from Sedro Woolley. Please take this into consideration when looking at a sitter for your pets! The school year ends June 12th and I am available until mid-July. Afterwards, I am taking time off for my own motorcycle travels (this time to Colorado) and then spend August in Europe :) I have owned cats, large dogs (100 + lbs), and horses over the years, so I'm well-versed in handling a variety of pet needs. I am comfortable around animals and can stand my ground with them. I enjoy large breeds and, having two 150Lbs + dogs before I know how hard it is to find someone to take care of them! I am available for short and long term stays in Whatcom and Skagit counties. Dogs, cats, horses, turtles and fish - all welcomed and loved! I work as a school bus driver, so I leave the house early in the morning for few hours, then have 2-4 hrs off and then drive the kids home in the afternoon, usually 2-6 pm. If this is something that will work for you and your pet family, please reach out! I usually do a greet & meet before to make sure that everyone is comfortable! I will follow the directions you give me, be it giving medication to your pets, putting it in the crate at night or when away and any other rules that you may have.
“Kayla is excellent with my normally reactive dogs. Having another person help me walk the dogs more frequently has helped them be less reactive to others. I appreciate this service so much! Thank you, Kayla!!”

“Madeline came by to get the dogs zoomiez out so they didn't spend too much alone time being mischievous. I'd recommend Madeline and hope to work with her in the future!”

“Samantha truly is a dog lover. She’s also a great communicator and very reliable. Going to work is less stressful because I know I can depend on Samantha showing up and caring for my beloved dog. I definitely recommend her!”

About: I was raised around dogs my entire life and have always loved taking care of them and playing with them. I currently have 6 dogs and love everyone of them dearly and always spoil them while making sure they’re well behaved. I always help out with animals every day around the house whether it’s feeding, potting or walking my dogs to make sure they’re healthy and cared for. I care for them by making sure they are let out every time I get home and giving them time to use the bathroom or walking them so they can get their energy out.
About: I grew up with cats my whole life. I currently have a 13 year old tabby named Charlie. I have watched several cats, dogs, and even chicken over the last 10 years. I am very passionate about animal advocacy. I previously worked at NOAH Animal Shelter and Brigadoon Service Dogs. I recently watched six goats for the first time and had a blast! They have a lot of personality and love affection. So I am also available to watch small farm animals. I'm currently available full time for pet sitting which means I have a very flexible schedule. I am happy to check on your pet daily as well as other house sitting chores if requested. My husband and I are renting so unfortunately we can't host pets at our home. I'm more than happy to check in on your animals at your residence. I will leave it cleaner than I found it.
“Heidi was great! She accepted a very last-minute request and asked great questions about Nova. She arrived early to meet her and be sure Nova would feel comfortable with her. Heidi brings great knowledge and professionalism to her work. Will call her again!”
“Morgan is great with our Gus! He is shy around other people and we wanted him to be more comfortable around other people--so we thought a dog walker was a good idea. Morgan is gentle and patient ith him. She's only been our dog walker for a short time, but when we say "Morgan's coming today" his head snaps towards the door in anticipation of her coming. We highly recommend her.”

About: I have 2 years of experience working at a dog daycare, where I cared for dogs of all sizes and breeds. From playful puppies to senior dogs with disabilities, I've seen it all. Growing up surrounded by a variety of dogs, from tiny Yorkies to gentle Great Danes, I've developed a deep understanding of their needs. Whether it's providing extra care for seniors or giving energetic pups their much-needed exercise, I’m passionate about keeping your furry friends happy and healthy! I’m available to care for your pets throughout the week! Whether you need a dog walk, check-in, or caring for your pet while away, I’m here to help! Let me know your pet’s needs, and I’ll make sure they’re well cared for during the times that work best for you. Please note: Starting June 1, 2025, my HOUSE SITTING rates will be updated. On Rover, the listed rate will show as $60 per night, which applies when you're away on vacation or need care over multiple days with daytime coverage. However, if you're booking longer daytime care without an overnight stay (for example, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM), the rate will be adjusted to $20 per hour for the time I’m actively caring for your pets. While the initial booking may still show as $60, I will manually adjust the rate on my end and send it to you for approval before confirming. This helps ensure you're only paying for the time you need, and your pets still receive high-quality, attentive care. Additionally, please note that for extended visits, I can provide early morning and late night drop ins, but will stay in my own home as I have my own fur babies to care for ☺️ Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide care in the familiar environment of your home, ensuring they feel secure and relaxed. I build trust through consistent, loving attention, treating each pet as if they were my own. Whether it’s following specific routines or providing a calm atmosphere, I make sure your furry friend feels safe and well cared for while you’re away.
“Avery is a fabulous person to work with. I have 2 rescue pups both nervous with new people. I set up 2 walks with her through Rover before our trip to be sure everyone was comfortable. I appreciate her time, and experience. She is amazing!”

About: I have lived on a farm ever since I was a child. I have raised dogs, cats, goats, pigs, chickens and waterfowl. I have done dog 4-H for 13 years. In that time I have shown toy and standard poodles. I love bonding with and taking care of animals! I am available to pet-sit/house sit/dog walk Monday through Sunday. In your home, I aim to maintain your pet’s regular routine as closely as possible—feeding, walks, medication, and playtime are all done on schedule. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Burlington
Kayla has done a fabulous job. I had a knee replacement surgery and the next day after I asked her for help. She has walked my dog every single day for a half an hour. She is prompt. He is happy when he comes back and she sends me a few pictures every day. I feel confident that she can handle my 70 pound dog even if he sees a rabbit.

Pamela took care of our doggie for 3 weeks while we were out of country. Our doggie was very happy to spend time with Pamela. He was able to go on his regular walks and do lots of sniffies. Pamela was excellent with communication, sending regular updates and pics. We were very pleased with Pamela's professionalism and her excellent care for our furry family member.

Riley is great with our dog, a Shiba Inu. Our dog, who can be very temperamental, immediately loved her and jumped into her arms for loving when he first met her. He rarely does that! Riley is very responsible, conscientious, and friendly. We will definitely hire her again when we need our dog cared for.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
