About: I am a dog lover who owns 3 dogs. One pit bull mix, one Dashhound mix, and a pit bull puppy! I am also a foster home for rescued dogs through East Coast Canine Rescue. I have one dog who is very high energy and needs to play outside daily! I will kick a ball for him, and he runs for it with his toy in his mouth. I have part of my yard fenced in for pups to run around like crazy. I am a stay at home mom- my time is very flexible. We have two crates if necessary. Treats galore! About: I’ve had pets since I was young & have always been a big animal nut. I’ve had all kinds of animals as an adult once I was on my own, including cats, dogs, ferrets, bearded dragons, rats, hamsters, guinea pigs, fish, & bunnies! And I’ve loved them all greatly! I volunteer at my town’s animal shelter & I have also been trusted to sit for friends’ pets (which included farm animals). I am not easily spooked, but I want your pet to receive the best care I can give. I am not a trainer, but I am comfortable dealing with some pets with behavioral issues. I want to create the safest and most comfortable environment for your pet, your sanity and myself! I currently work four days a week and have a three day weekend. I am looking to pet sit for people who are going on a short trip or need routine weekend care. I can be flexible with week nights, but it will need to be established well in advance. I am looking to house sit in the owners residence. My cats would not be happy to have any new comers to our family. I am very punctual with breakfast and dinner time, and I am typically one to spend time wherever the pet would like to whether that be indoors or outdoors!

About: I decided to try letting a husky pull me on roller blades 27 years ago, and a bond was created that I am convinced was the greatest thing ever. I became an aspiring writer and began researching dogs, playing with them and loving them all the same. I understood that some people just had that dog thing, but I wanted to know why. Still working on my writing, and still researching, I started roller blading around Webster lake with a rescue puppy this past year. I remembered the incredible joys that a dog would have discovering the freedom, and it's really incredible. I don't claim to be a dog whisperer, but I have learned from studying dog behaviors and personalities. Honey has been incredible this season. Some dogs would rather just sniff, and it's arguably the most incredible of dog traits. Sometimes finding the space to run can be a challenge, but even just on a walk, it's all about giving them the chance to choose when you can. I have been an educator as a substitute and a paraprofessional, and enjoyed 20 years with a number of schools and institutions. Coaching tennis, track, and rock climbing, I love giving new experiences. As director for an adventure camp or as recreation games coordinator, I was able to incorporate a team into all the fun. Relying on the service industry for work, I have developed my communication skills in many fields. 3 years working for the May Institute with adults with severe disabilities gained me a humility not found elsewhere. In the Healthcare industry I found incredible individuals who just fit their calling, and you were better for being around them. The last 2 years I have traveled the state as a licensed pest technician solving homeowner problems, and keeping people safe. I enjoyed being a source of information, and health, and was careful to appreciate coming into someone's home and life. I'm currently planning on returning to school to attain my message therapy certification and utilize my background in health. It's a good plan with modification, and I am hopeful that Amazon flexibility will help. I'm the kind of person who starts with a smile, and believes that kindness is always an option. I understand that taking care of your animals and home is a sacred thing, and I will remain transparent and available. I'm currently working for Amazon, Sunday through Wednesday, and have Thursday, Friday, and Saturday completely free for services. Additionally I can be available for any other days with proper notice, due to Amazon's flexibility with their scheduling. Our yard is fenced in, and our two rescue dogs enjoy their space very much playing and running around. Our 16 year old cat enjoys being an inside/outside cat very much, and has adapted to our precocious new additions. Our back door is opened frequently.

About: I'm currently the behavior manager for our dog team at Our Companions Animal Rescue. I work at our sanctuary where I manage a team of competent handlers and I work with reactive/aggressive dogs. I'm currently working on getting my CPDT. If you hire me, I promise your canine companion will receive the care, compassion, patience, and attention they deserve. I'm generally always free Sundays and Mondays. I do work full-time Tuesday to Saturday, so my availability is somewhat limited. I can provide my dog walking/activity assistance after 4pm on those work days, except Fridays. Due to my long history and experience working with dogs, I have the ability to read dogs very well to detect if they are anxious, fearful, or uncomfortable. My goal is to make sure your dog gets exactly what they need, whether it's a certain activity they enjoy, training they need, or a certain destination they love for their outdoor time. I work part time during my summer so I can focus on the pets I am hired to take care of.
