About: I’ve had experience taking care of animals since I was young! I often do pet care for my friends, family and coworkers as well as volunteer for local adoption agencies. About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for pets and farm animals of all kinds. I grew up on a 118-acre hobby farm, where caring for animals was part of everyday life and where my passion for animal care first began. I went to school to become a veterinary assistant and have continued working with animals throughout my adult life, giving me experience with a wide range of breeds, temperaments, and care needs. I’m comfortable with senior pets, administering medications, high-energy dogs, and animals that may need extra patience, attention, or specialized care. At home, I have two dogs and a cat of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you truly trust with your pets. I treat every animal like family and strive to provide reliable, attentive, and compassionate care while you’re away. My son is currently in morning preschool, I can drop in anytime between 6:30-12 and again in the afternoon and/or evening. My availability is pretty flexible. I love animals and I promise to care for yours like they were my own. I love taking dogs for walks and giving all animals the attention they deserve.

About: I have taken care of dogs & cats since I was in elementary school. We always had pets in my house growing up. I’ve had my Veterinary Assistant Certification for 5 years now. I have worked at dog daycares/boarding centers so I have experience with groups of dogs as well as taking care of & handling one pet at a time. I am not working as of right now so my schedule is pretty open. I am available whenever except for Tuesdays & Saturdays from 5pm-7pm I like to take dogs for walks around the area where I live. I don’t have a fenced in yard which is why I take dogs for walks. I have kitten that’s a few weeks old who would keep your dog/cat company if they are pet friendly. If not I have a kennel.

If your dog is crate-trained or prefers a crate for rest, I can easily accommodate that to maintain their normal routine. I am available in the evenings Monday/Wednesday through Sunday! On Tuesdays, I am available during the day! “This review is long overdue! I have been using Marissa for about a year now give or take for twice weekly drop ins. I have a senior diabetic pomeranian and a 3 year old highly energetic Border Collie and both of my dogs seem to love Marissa! We always get pictures of our smiling pups and it is clear they have a good time during the visit. Marissa is not only great with our dogs, but she is reliable, trustworthy, and will go the extra mile to accommodate bookings. We never come home to any accidents, and she is always kind enough to bring our packages in front the porch. I have a very flexible schedule and am available early in the morning, afternoons, and night time during the week. On Saturday and Sunday, I’m available mornings and afternoons! I follow your pets routine as closely as possible, providing feeding, walks, playtime, medications if needed, and plenty of love and attention! I am also open to pets coming to our home, we have plenty of space for a designated cat room or a dog that is friendly with other dogs and cats.
