About: I’ve had pets since I was young & have always been a big animal nut. I’ve had all kinds of animals as an adult once I was on my own, including cats, dogs, ferrets, bearded dragons, rats, hamsters, guinea pigs, fish, & bunnies! And I’ve loved them all greatly! I’m also a mom to 2 teens so I’m used to messy, fast-paced days & thinking quick on my feet. I volunteer at my town’s animal shelter & I have also been trusted to sit for friends’ pets (which included farm animals). My biggest concern for any animal is their safety & well-being (both physical & mental). I am self-employed & am lucky enough to choose my hours, so I have wide availability. I do have a child that I drive to & from school but I’m open to discussing what your needs are & how to make it all work. I’m ready to give your animal everything they need & am comfortable with most anything, including cleanup, feedings, habitat cleaning, & medications. I believe in respecting your home & privacy — I’m just in it to care for your family member!

About: My veterinary assistant experience with small and large animals sets me apart as I keep a close eye on your animal’s health and well-being. I am not easily spooked, but I want your pet to receive the best care I can give. I am not a trainer, but I am comfortable dealing with some pets with behavioral issues. I want to create the safest and most comfortable environment for your pet, your sanity and myself! I currently work four days a week and have a three day weekend. I am looking to pet sit for people who are going on a short trip or need routine weekend care. I can be flexible with week nights, but it will need to be established well in advance. I am looking to house sit in the owners residence. My cats would not be happy to have any new comers to our family. I am very punctual with breakfast and dinner time, and I am typically one to spend time wherever the pet would like to whether that be indoors or outdoors!

About: I’ve been around animals since the beginning of my life. I grew up with cats & dogs, small & large. I started learning about dog training in 2020, I trained my first service dog in 2022. I’m always working to learn more & continuously improve my knowledge. Body language is a huge factor when it comes to taking care of dogs & making sure they’re comfortable in their environment. I’m great with puppies as well & can help out with basic training. Any questions please feel free to ask! I work from home, so I start my day by taking my dog out to our apartment property’s dog park to use the bathroom, & get play time in, then I bring him in to feed him breakfast. If dog parks make you uncomfortable, I can always take your dog when the parks unoccupied. For meal time I make sure all dogs are separated from each others food. If your dog has trouble eating I always keep toppers on hand or different types of food such as, raw/cooked/air dried/& freeze dried. In the case there’s a medical emergency we have an emergency vet 15 mins down the road. If your dog needs to be crated when left unsupervised or for bedtime we have a crate sized for medium/large breeds. Animals are allowed on furniture & the living room is dog proof with lots of toys & beds, we keep the kitchen & bathroom off limits to prevent anyone from getting into something they’re not supposed to have. My dog has also been trained to be gentle with small animals as well to make sure everyone is comfortable & safe in their environment. If your dog eats too fast I offer slow feeders in my home.

About: I'm currently the behavior manager for our dog team at Our Companions Animal Rescue. I work at our sanctuary where I manage a team of competent handlers and I work with reactive/aggressive dogs. I'm currently working on getting my CPDT. If you hire me, I promise your canine companion will receive the care, compassion, patience, and attention they deserve. I'm generally always free Sundays and Mondays. I do work full-time Tuesday to Saturday, so my availability is somewhat limited. I can provide my dog walking/activity assistance after 4pm on those work days, except Fridays. Due to my long history and experience working with dogs, I have the ability to read dogs very well to detect if they are anxious, fearful, or uncomfortable. My goal is to make sure your dog gets exactly what they need, whether it's a certain activity they enjoy, training they need, or a certain destination they love for their outdoor time. Positive reinforcement is the name of the game.

About: I don’t have my own pet anymore as he passed from old age. I like to take care of other people’s pets when they are on vacation and care for them with as much love as if they were my own. I will stay at your home if needed , schedule potty break services as well. I work at a school so let out before I go to work and right after, evenings and bed time. About: I absolutely love going for walks and runs with dogs! Please see updated photos for some of my previous pet clients. Recently took care of a few hairless cats as well as a big dog! I’ve taken care of pets in many settings, including messier households! (Not a neat freak so messes do not bother me!) I trained my Doberman on Couch to 5k, running through all the trails in RI. I’ve taught my cat how to shuffle cards, play piano, and spin in a circle on command, and my mom’s old cat would always practice Pilates with us at 6 in the morning. Recently I dropped in for a friend’s 2 cats, even the shy one eventually warmed up to me! They required medication in their food so she left detailed, neatly handwritten notes on the table, which helped a lot! Known for my positive and caring energy as a music therapist (who works alongside a pet therapist!) and music teacher, and with a mom with a college degree in animal science, I have a passion for animals in general. She is now dating a farmer and we now have a baby cow named clover who I help take care of occasionally on Sundays. Generally I am available in the middle of the day most days of the week for one-off visits. My boyfriend is a biologist and also has a small dog who I walk frequently in the mornings and at midnight (she’s a night owl like us!) One of my favorite activities is running, I can always walk or run with your pet, or if you prefer us to lounge, I have lots of great pet-friendly shows on our nice TV. I love driving so I’m happy to drive to you if it’s further away - as I am regularly back and forth between Westerly, RI and Uncasville, CT. Outside of teaching in a formal studio, I’ve worked in client’s homes for therapy-related meetings as well as for music lessons - and believe it or not often times there are pets who love to sing along to the music! I usually stay home in the morning so I can easily take care of your pet between 7 am and 2 pm. I used to have an office job but found it too sedentary and draining; I discovered I thrive in outdoor and home environments. I’m excited to enter this new chapter and care for animals! I have a partially fenced yard so I would generally take pets out on a leash but it is a non-busy road and very safe - the lawn is freshly mowed and we have a playground your dog can weave around! I also have a cute little neighborhood that we can circle around that is far from the highway and if your pet loved car rides, we can always go to the park and get ice cream! Occasionally our neighbor’s dog likes to come over unsolicited but he is always very gentle and friendly! My cats are also used to my mom’s boyfriend’s rambunctious dogs coming in and out from time to time and we have plenty of doors and rooms in the house and baby gates if we ever needed to keep pets separate! We also have a spare pet bed if needed that was gifted to us - we always want to make sure your pet is comfortable sleeping at night!

About: I have had dogs my entire life. They are my favorite thing in the whole world. I signed up for rover because it is a way to spend time with your adorable doggies! I will walk, feed, and belly-rub any and all dogs that come my way. I am also open to any special accommodations one might need. Available most nights and weekends, and mornings/weekdays. About: I have been pet sitting for 10 years, I board and do in home visits, I sit for dogs, cats, small mammals, reptiles and even fish! I prioritize animals safety while also providing proper enrichment, walks, hikes, playdates, and play sessions. I am also a Certified veterinary technician.
