“Brittany was AMAZING! Our dog, Bailey was only 18 weeks old and she knew all the right things to do with a puppy. We never worried once about his care. She sent pictures every day of his antics which made us laugh but also convinced us that he was happy and loved. She was in tune with his quirky personality, from his removal of ALL the toys from the toy box before deciding what to play with, to helping with the laundry by stealing the socks, to proudly carrying things around that he “found” . AND Brittany was reasonably priced. We will use her again in a heartbeat. We felt so incredibly blessed to have found her. We can’t thank her enough for making our vacation stress free.”

From the moment Yarrow arrived, I could tell she was in great hands. I honestly think Yarrow believed she was on her own little vacation lol. She absolutely adored Suzanne, her wonderful kids, and the other dogs. Every update showed a happy, relaxed dog living her best life. One of the things I appreciated most was Suzanne’s communication. “This was our first time using Rover for our 9 month old puppy Bo. Samantha is amazing!!! She took such great care of Bo! He arrived to her with a fear of stairs from slipping on a couple of steps recently. Samantha worked on his fear while he was with her. He is a little timid still, but since getting home yesterday from Samantha’s, he went up and down with no problem. She even gave us tips and tricks to use if he was reluctant. After dropping off my dog I asked if she could possibly trim his nails. I had made a grooming appointment but it wasn't for another 2 weeks, and my dog was slipping on hard wood floors. She happily offer to see if her groomer could squeeze him in for a quick nail trim. She was able to and I paid a small fee to the groomer. I plan to bring Charlie back for any future trips. A+ experience!”

One of my dogs is very anxious and barks a lot. She dealt with it well and realized he was just unsure of the environment. My 6 pound Pomeranian took a few days to warm up to her but in the end she did. Sue didn’t push herself on my dog and just let my pup come to her. She took special care to walk them and make them feel as comfortable in their new environment. Sue also took time each day to send me photos and texts so I knew they were ok. I have already booked her for two more weeks this summer. I recommend her with your dogs too. It is obvious she loves and enjoys dogs.”

About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.

About: I've had dogs since I was 10 and participated with their health care growing up and decided I wanted to be in the veterinary field from that point. I just recently quit my full-time veterinary assistant job in October 2025, due to workplace drama and still have some regular pet sitting clients from the vet clinic, but thought I'd give this a shot to widen my clientele. If you like my services, I encourage you to contact me outside of Rover! I can only take on other dog friendly dogs in my house because I have 2 myself. I'm willing to go to your house for visits if they're not dog friendly. I have an unfenced yard, so any dogs staying with me will go outside on a leash. Dogs must be crate trianed to stay at my house. My dogs stay out when I go on errands or out for the evening, but get locked up at night.

“Brittany was AMAZING! Our dog, Bailey was only 18 weeks old and she knew all the right things to do with a puppy. We never worried once about his care. She sent pictures every day of his antics which made us laugh but also convinced us that he was happy and loved. She was in tune with his quirky personality, from his removal of ALL the toys from the toy box before deciding what to play with, to helping with the laundry by stealing the socks, to proudly carrying things around that he “found” . AND Brittany was reasonably priced. We will use her again in a heartbeat. We felt so incredibly blessed to have found her. We can’t thank her enough for making our vacation stress free.”

“Leaving your dog for a couple of nights can be stressful, especially when your dog is your soul dog, but Suzanne made the entire experience so easy. From the moment Yarrow arrived, I could tell she was in great hands. I honestly think Yarrow believed she was on her own little vacation lol. She absolutely adored Suzanne, her wonderful kids, and the other dogs. Every update showed a happy, relaxed dog living her best life. One of the things I appreciated most was Suzanne’s communication. She sent updates, pictures, and little stories that made me smile and let me know exactly how Yarrow was doing. “This was our first time using Rover for our 9 month old puppy Bo. Samantha is amazing!!! She took such great care of Bo! He arrived to her with a fear of stairs from slipping on a couple of steps recently. Samantha worked on his fear while he was with her. He is a little timid still, but since getting home yesterday from Samantha’s, he went up and down with no problem. She even gave us tips and tricks to use if he was reluctant. He enjoyed walks with Samantha and has a new friend, her dog Mac and got to enjoy playing with him. We were updated daily and I had no worries @ all while we were away. We will definitely use her again!”
