About: Hi! My name is Laura and I’m an experienced dog mom of nearly two decades. I know how to keep dogs feeling safe, clean, fed, and cared for when their owners need some help. I can offer special care and also give medications if needed. Note: I can only accommodate small dog breeds. My dog named “Tallulah” is a 9Ib female (spayed) Maltese. She is very dog friendly, though, we can discuss whether you’d like your dog to spend time with Tallulah or be in a separate area of my home. I can accommodate any specific requests you may have! 💞 🐾 I currently work remotely from home so dog boarding is available Monday-Sunday! I am present for the entirety of your dogs stay. My goal is to provide the care your dog is accustomed to at home so the experience is not only safe but enjoyable 🏠 🐾 ❤️ All dogs in my care will be tending to just like they’re at a special dog hotel and on a schedule of your choosing. About: A little about me: I am a Rhode Island native, (literally!) and have a Bachelors degree in International Relations and Global Politics from the American University of Rome. I also completed my Masters degree in Costa Rica! Pura Vida! As of 2020; I have children of my own, and dogs of my own: I no longer offer boarding services. Only house sitting & drop in visits. As of 2026, I am a PhD student in Canada 🇨🇦 I will only be available in New England during summers ☀️ and winters ❄️ I have personally cared for elderly dogs, chaotic puppies and the 'body guard' type, and my care will allow your pet/ Bestfriend to be relaxed while vacationing. I have been dogsitting/ caring for the past 10 years now. My availability is somewhat flexible depending on your needs. Depending on the needs of your furry friend and your own, I am more than willing to doggysit and provide your pet with any amenities and attention needed! Cuddles are a must, or atleast a walk.. I’m a college student here in South Carolina who really misses my pets back home, so I’m looking for chances to care for other people’s pets while I’m at school. Spending time with animals — whether walking dogs, feeding cats, or just giving them attention — makes me happy, helps me manage stress, and gives me something meaningful to look forward to outside of my classes. In my home, pets enjoy a safe and relaxed environment. I have a friendly golden retriever who’s trained to stay in the yard, and a bunny who’s free to move around the house as he wishes. I make sure everyone stays comfortable and safe, supervise outdoor time, and always follow your care instructions closely—whether your pet is with me or I’m caring for them in your home.

About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.

About: I have experience with all types of cats and dogs ! Earlier this year I had to put down my 18 year old lab who I have had since I was 2. Seniors hold a very special place in my heart. I currently have a 2 year old Australian shepherd who absolutely adores other animals. I have worked with Shih Tzus , poodles , American bull dogs , Great Danes and Rottweilers I am currently a stay at home mom so your pets will never be left unattended! We spend ALOT of time playing in the yard so your fur babies will have lots of time to run around. I have a fenced in yard and I have a friendly dog and 3 cats ! I have the ability to crate train your pets if that’s needed as well.

I began pet sitting after I retired, I am home 95% of the day, so your pet will be not be left unsupervised for more than a few minutes at the most. I am very loving, laid back, affectionate, & patient with the pets I take care of. I have a mostly fenced in backyard, we do our walks back there as well as spend time in my outdoor pen area when the weather is nice. When we are outdoors the pups are always on their leashes, and we avoid the main road just to be extra safe. I have an adorable 3 year old female Maltipoo named Ellie. She is as sweet as can be and loves to make new friends. When your pup comes to stay they are welcome to explore the entire house, it is safe and completely puppy proofed. They are allowed to snuggle on the couch, or wherever they are comfortable. I have plenty of beds, blankets, toys, & treats. We go for walks every two hours for tinkle breaks, and I like to take the dogs on a nice long walk in the mornings after breakfast and again after dinner. My little Ellie the Maltipoo loves to play, however is only 9 lbs so she is very gentle, she loves to make friends. I am comfortable administering medication or supplements if necessary, I have experience working with elderly dogs, and dogs on different medications as well. I am comfortable with dogs with health issues such as allergies, diabetes, and I am certified in pet first aid & CPR. I am comfortable with all age ranges, from puppy to elderly. I work with a few of both and they are equally adorable. If your dog has a special routine at home that you would like followed, such as crating, no furniture, special diets such as home cooked food. During mealtimes I separate Ellie & whomever is staying or with us for daycare. I have gates so that each dog can eat comfortably as well as preventing them from eating one anothers food. There is a beautiful trail nearby, with your permission the dogs do enjoy a nice stroll, and I take my dog quite often. Its a very mellow environment here, the dogs seem to enjoy coming & we have a lot of fun.

About: I have had cats and dogs for over 6 years (with many more years of hamster experience) and my husband was raised with many pets since he was 3 years old (cats, dogs, chicken and even birds). We like being surrounded by fur babies! We have three kitties and one Golden Doodle that is eager to have fun with your dog (he is very gentle despite his large size). Both my husband and I work remotely so at least one of us will be at the house at all times. We will be able to take care of your pet’s needs! We have a fenced yard (with night lights!) with ample space for dogs to run and do their business. We have a fully-furnished basement where guests doggies can spend as much private time as they want, sleep on the bean bag, or look at the window to the outside! We have crates that are large and medium in case they are needed.
