About: I come from a farm in Maine where most of my friends were animals of many different species. Whether they were considered livestock or pets, they imparted their unique perspective on me and the way I walk through this world. My friends have been goats, chickens, rabbits, dogs, cats, pigs, cows, rats, hamsters, fish, tarantulas, and many forms of wildlife. I listen to their messages and always look out for not only their welfare but their autonomy, which is a fragile thing in this anthrocentric society they are forced into. I am available from late morning to early evening most days. Transportation is limited for me so you must be within biking range. You are free to drop your dog off for dog walking or playtime in the yard but indoor play is not possible at this time. I live on a somewhat busy road with no fence, but a lot of yard space to play in. Indoors is not a good place for any pet besides my cat. I am very spritely and young, and can keep up with any type of game preferred by your pet. I love long walks and hikes-I will even run if you have an athletic dog. I thrive on details about what is safest and enjoyable for you and your pet, and I’m also very attuned to animals. I am good with feeding and medicine schedules. I have had plenty of sick and special needs pets, so I’m comfortable with giving medicine or cleaning pets who can’t clean themselves. I’m affectionate and warm, so I do best with pets who are kind and not too traumatized, but I can adapt. I have discovered that most animals enjoy it when I play the folk harp or sing. It’s a type of music therapy for them, even if it’s not their music taste. (my cat prefers jazz but enjoys harp in the evening) Some animals are scared of the harp’s appearance at first before the music sinks into their heart.

Sometimes things come up or a well deserved vacation... there is no need when you pick me to worry about your loved pet family. I will treat them with respect, compassion, and love they deserve. I am a stay at home mom who like any mom I am ready for anything. Last minute appointment (we all know that unexpected things happen. Don't worry about your pet message me), cleanups, accidents, snacks,protective (nothing will happen to your loved one with me), and even fun days outs. I am a mom and I am always ready for anything. About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. Growing up, my mother was (and still is) a doggy foster mom for our local shelter. We constantly had 4-6 dogs in our home, most of which ended up staying long term. I have years of experience caring for multiple dogs and senior care as well! I work completely from home which will allow me plenty of time to attend to your pups needs all throughout the day. I love to jog and hike, so your pup will be sure to get plenty of exercise and outdoor time with me! I provide a safe, calm, and attentive environment for every pet in my care. Working from home allows plenty of supervision, potty breaks, playtime, and attention throughout the day. While I do not have a fenced yard, all outdoor time is supervised and dogs will always be kept safely leashed. About: Animals have held a special place in my heart my whole life. I started volunteering at my local animal shelter when I was 14, working my way up to weekend manager. I also worked as veterinary technician for many years and volunteered in the wildlife clinic. During those years, I pet sat for many clients and was happy to help ease people’s minds while they were away. Now I work with humans in medicine and my (human) children are teenagers. In my home, we have 3 dogs, 2 geckos, a tarantula and a ball python. The only reason we don’t have cats is a family member has severe allergies. I have experience with giving medication, positive reinforcement training, dealing with shy and anxious personalities and an expert snuggler. About: It's my mission to be your pet's newest favorite human. I've been volunteering, rescuing and fundraising for Paws Cat Shelter in Putnam CT since 2017. I'm also their mascot appearing in many downtown events. If the cats only knew the lengths I go for them! About: I am a dog lover who owns 3 dogs. One pit bull mix, one Dashhound mix, and a pit bull puppy! I am also a foster home for rescued dogs through East Coast Canine Rescue. About: Dogs have always been my biggest passion in life, I’ve been dogsitting and walking since I graduated from high school in 2015. I love all dogs, no matter the breed or size! I am always elated to be in the presence of a four legged friend. I am a dog trainer, and I’m currently enrolled in a bachelors degree animal care and science program. My life goal is to start and operate an animal sanctuary where animals of all kind can get another chance at life. I am looking for long term or short term clients! I can have dogs at my house as long as they are good with other dogs. I am currently only offering boarding at this time . I live on 4-5 acres of land, with an 87 foot cable lead, and leashes to take walks on the land. I have a kiddie pool set up just for the dogs. I have a 5 year old female Great Dane who loves dogs of all size and shape and loves to play! I also have a younger Great Dane mix from Alabama, her name is Cedar and she’s very shy and usually stays in the bedroom. Both of my dogs know the boundaries of the land and will be a good influence for any visiting dog friends. In the warmer months (May-November) I work full-time at a kennel 45 minutes from my home. I will still be accepting clients during those times, on my days off of course. We currently have an 80+ foot run in the backyard, and we have just under 5 acres of land. We also have access to several trails behind our house!

About: I grew up helping run a kennel with my parents. We had, on average, 20 dogs at all times. Helping with the dogs was part of daily living for me. We also participated in showmanship and agility shows. I've had a lot of hands on experience in many facets concerning dog care and a lot of it has stuck with me through the years since I was helping with the dogs at a young age.
