About: I have years of animal training under my belt and have had dogs my entire life. I have currently have an old Jack Russell and a cat! They love other dogs, so it’s been fun hosting over the past 10 years! We like to go on frequent walks, hikes, swims and anything else your pup enjoys. I do have little kids in the house, so the dog must have experience with children. Please note the following; **I do not accept puppies to board in my home** ** I require a meet and greet prior to accepting any new clients!** **MUST be cat friendly- This means has been around a cat** Any pick up that is more than 45 minutes late will incur an additional late pick up fee. I currently work part time- so I am home most of the time. I can let your dog out every 2-4 hours in our yard when I am not working. Daily walks outside. I have a dog friendly cat and a pet friendly house! I have a gated dog area with an open door crate for a safe space or quiet area.

About: I’ve take. care of dogs since i was about 10. It hasn’t been professional until about 4 years ago. I belive every dog/animals deserves the right to fair care and love even if they can’t speak! I currently work part time at a dog and cat boarding place. I take my job very seriously to ensure that the pets are happy! About: I'm currently the behavior manager for our dog team at Our Companions Animal Rescue. I work at our sanctuary where I manage a team of competent handlers and I work with reactive/aggressive dogs. I'm currently working on getting my CPDT. If you hire me, I promise your canine companion will receive the care, compassion, patience, and attention they deserve. I'm generally always free Sundays and Mondays. I do work full-time Tuesday to Saturday, so my availability is somewhat limited. I can provide my dog walking/activity assistance after 4pm on those work days, except Fridays. Due to my long history and experience working with dogs, I have the ability to read dogs very well to detect if they are anxious, fearful, or uncomfortable. My goal is to make sure your dog gets exactly what they need, whether it's a certain activity they enjoy, training they need, or a certain destination they love for their outdoor time. Positive reinforcement is the name of the game.

About: I have taken care of many different kinds of dogs and cats my whole life. In my neighborhood I am the trusted pet sitter and pet walker! I work part time during my summer so I can focus on the pets I am hired to take care of. During the school year I do have some longer days so only certain days I can take care of dogs that require less than 4 hrs of alone time. I always follow the ground rules set by the owners. I do my best to make sure the pets do not get into anything that could cause them harm.

About: i’ve have many types of breeds. i currently have two border collies and love working with animals. i can’t wait to meet yours, im excited it’s in my everyday routine , i have a very hyper breed so they are very active. i wake up and my dog is the first thing i take of , and i do the same throughout the day. i make sure she’s taken care of before other things. i do what is more comfortable for the dog , if they are hyper i’ll play with them until they are tired. if they are calm dogs i’ll feed them and make sure they are cared for either way.

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life, and I have been pet sitting for a little over five years now! I currently have my own pets: two cats, and a dog. I have a few families whom I sit for regularly. I have had experience caring for puppies-senior dogs with special needs, diapers, and medications, as well as kittens-senior cats! My whole life I have been caring for pets of my own, as well as those of friends and family. My boyfriend has been sitting with me for well over 4 years now and has a lot of experience caring for many different animals. We have helped a few families out with training as well so that they can stay as close to their normal routine as possible! I’m currently working full time at UConn, but my boyfriend is working remotely. This being said he would be able to provide plenty of potty breaks throughout the day. We can both provide walks and plenty of play time morning and night as well! I am very flexible with whatever routine you would like me to follow for your fur babies! Personally, I have an electric fence for my dog at home, but I still go out with her, as she does not like to be alone! Although my cats are indoor cats, they LOVE being outside, so on nice days I will take them out on a leash and sun bathe with them!

About: I decided to try letting a husky pull me on roller blades 27 years ago, and a bond was created that I am convinced was the greatest thing ever. I became an aspiring writer and began researching dogs, playing with them and loving them all the same. I understood that some people just had that dog thing, but I wanted to know why. Still working on my writing, and still researching, I started roller blading around Webster lake with a rescue puppy this past year. I remembered the incredible joys that a dog would have discovering the freedom, and it's really incredible. I don't claim to be a dog whisperer, but I have learned from studying dog behaviors and personalities. Honey has been incredible this season. Some dogs would rather just sniff, and it's arguably the most incredible of dog traits. Sometimes finding the space to run can be a challenge, but even just on a walk, it's all about giving them the chance to choose when you can. I have been an educator as a substitute and a paraprofessional, and enjoyed 20 years with a number of schools and institutions. Coaching tennis, track, and rock climbing, I love giving new experiences. As director for an adventure camp or as recreation games coordinator, I was able to incorporate a team into all the fun. Relying on the service industry for work, I have developed my communication skills in many fields. 3 years working for the May Institute with adults with severe disabilities gained me a humility not found elsewhere. In the Healthcare industry I found incredible individuals who just fit their calling, and you were better for being around them. The last 2 years I have traveled the state as a licensed pest technician solving homeowner problems, and keeping people safe. I enjoyed being a source of information, and health, and was careful to appreciate coming into someone's home and life. I'm currently planning on returning to school to attain my message therapy certification and utilize my background in health. It's a good plan with modification, and I am hopeful that Amazon flexibility will help. I'm the kind of person who starts with a smile, and believes that kindness is always an option. I understand that taking care of your animals and home is a sacred thing, and I will remain transparent and available. I'm currently working for Amazon, Sunday through Wednesday, and have Thursday, Friday, and Saturday completely free for services. Additionally I can be available for any other days with proper notice, due to Amazon's flexibility with their scheduling. Our yard is fenced in, and our two rescue dogs enjoy their space very much playing and running around. Our 16 year old cat enjoys being an inside/outside cat very much, and has adapted to our precocious new additions. Our back door is opened frequently.

About: I absolutely love going for walks and runs with dogs! Please see updated photos for some of my previous pet clients. Recently took care of a few hairless cats as well as a big dog! I’ve taken care of pets in many settings, including messier households! (Not a neat freak so messes do not bother me!) I trained my Doberman on Couch to 5k, running through all the trails in RI. I’ve taught my cat how to shuffle cards, play piano, and spin in a circle on command, and my mom’s old cat would always practice Pilates with us at 6 in the morning. Recently I dropped in for a friend’s 2 cats, even the shy one eventually warmed up to me! They required medication in their food so she left detailed, neatly handwritten notes on the table, which helped a lot! Known for my positive and caring energy as a music therapist (who works alongside a pet therapist!) and music teacher, and with a mom with a college degree in animal science, I have a passion for animals in general. She is now dating a farmer and we now have a baby cow named clover who I help take care of occasionally on Sundays. Generally I am available in the middle of the day most days of the week for one-off visits. My boyfriend is a biologist and also has a small dog who I walk frequently in the mornings and at midnight (she’s a night owl like us!) Available to do drop-ins at your home within 45 mins of Montville - please message me at least one week before your trip to solidify the booking! Please be kind, respectful, and professional in your requests - I do not take last minute visits but would love to help you out with your furry friend. Not a veterinarian, just an animal lover with a lot of compassion!! One of my favorite activities is running, I can always walk or run with your pet, or if you prefer us to lounge, I have lots of great pet-friendly shows on our nice TV. I love driving so I’m happy to drive to you if it’s further away - as I am regularly back and forth between Westerly, RI and Uncasville, CT. Outside of teaching in a formal studio, I’ve worked in client’s homes for therapy-related meetings as well as for music lessons - and believe it or not often times there are pets who love to sing along to the music! I usually stay home in the morning so I can easily take care of your pet between 7 am and 2 pm. I used to have an office job but found it too sedentary and draining; I discovered I thrive in outdoor and home environments. I’m excited to enter this new chapter and care for animals! I have a partially fenced yard so I would generally take pets out on a leash but it is a non-busy road and very safe - the lawn is freshly mowed and we have a playground your dog can weave around! I also have a cute little neighborhood that we can circle around that is far from the highway and if your pet loved car rides, we can always go to the park and get ice cream! Occasionally our neighbor’s dog likes to come over unsolicited but he is always very gentle and friendly! My cats are also used to my mom’s boyfriend’s rambunctious dogs coming in and out from time to time and we have plenty of doors and rooms in the house and baby gates if we ever needed to keep pets separate! We also have a spare pet bed if needed that was gifted to us - we always want to make sure your pet is comfortable sleeping at night!
