“We had a very chaotic week from an ER visit to the emergence of separation anxiety. Jessica did a great job helping us out and calming our nerves. She was great with our dogs and I would recommend her to other dog parents.”

“Sarah and her family are a joy and took such good care of Monty while we were away. We loved the note and photo they left for us at the end of their care. I highly recommend them!”

About: It's my mission to be your pet's newest favorite human. I've been volunteering, rescuing and fundraising for Paws Cat Shelter in Putnam CT since 2019. I'm also their mascot appearing in many downtown events. If the cats only knew the lengths I go for them! I have five cats of my own (Penny, Bentley, Boober, Mokey and Wembley) and I'm a dog mom to Frank, a mini Aussie Shepard. I've done home and pet sitting for friends and co-workers and I know the importance of finding someone reliable and trustworthy to watch my own animals. I'm comfortable with giving meds, syringe feeding, poop scooping and litterbox digging. I work full time as a Financial Systems Analyst for EG America (Cumberland Farms) but my schedule allows for flexibility. I can do drop-in visits or set up shop in your kitchen with my laptop if you don't mind sharing your WiFi. Just give me all of the detailed instructions/routines (like, go full-on OCD, I can appreciate that!) and I'll take care of the rest. I like to send text updates and pictures so you're at ease knowing your kids are happy and healthy.
“Samantha has been doing a great job taking care of our puppy during a time of transition. He’s adjusting to having us home less on certain days and it gives us peace of mind to know he is well cared for.”

About: Because Your Pet Deserves the Best, Even When You’re Away. I will care for your pet small, large, fluffy or feathery when you can't. Sometimes things come up or a well deserved vacation... there is no need when you pick me to worry about your loved pet family. I will treat them with respect, compassion, and love they deserve. I know that they are missing you. I will make sure that they have their own mini getaway when I am with them. This can be a walk, cuddles, or just tossing the ball. I can do stop ins for potty and food.. I can stop in and take them for a walk, or just stop in and play with them. I love all weather and am prepared for anything. Snow, rain, cold or storm. I am a stay at home mom who like any mom I am ready for anything. Last minute appointment (we all know that unexpected things happen. Don't worry about your pet message me), cleanups, accidents, snacks, protective (nothing will happen to your loved one with me), and even fun days outs. I am a mom and I am always ready for anything. It would be a honor to be invited to your home to check in on your loved one. I am extremely flexible and would enjoy meeting your pets. I would always treat your animals as I would want mine to be treated.
About: I have worked with dog trainers so I know some training skills needed to help with certain behaviors. I can administer meds if needed. I can watch cat friendly dogs in my home. I have gates and a safe environment. I am more than willing to watch pets in the clients home as well to make them feel comfortable and help with routine.
“It was too wet/rainy outside to walk Gidget, but I kept the appointment time anyway. I wanted to start once a week walks for Gidget to get used to seeing Katie around before house sitting for us. Hubby said that she took the time to get to know her and vice versa. Very pleased with Katie.”
About: I have taken care of dogs & cats since I was in elementary school. We always had pets in my house growing up. I’ve had my Veterinary Assistant Certification for 5 years now. I have worked at dog daycares/boarding centers so I have experience with groups of dogs as well as taking care of & handling one pet at a time. I am not working as of right now so my schedule is pretty open. I am available whenever except for Tuesdays & Saturdays from 5pm-7pm I like to take dogs for walks around the area where I live. I don’t have a fenced in yard which is why I take dogs for walks. I have kitten that’s a few weeks old who would keep your dog/cat company if they are pet friendly. If not I have a kennel.
About: I treat every pet like family and make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I have experience with both playful puppies and senior dogs. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and always keep you updated! I’m a college student here in South Carolina who really misses my pets back home, so I’m looking for chances to care for other people’s pets while I’m at school. Spending time with animals — whether walking dogs, feeding cats, or just giving them attention — makes me happy, helps me manage stress, and gives me something meaningful to look forward to outside of my classes. In my home, pets enjoy a safe and relaxed environment. I have a friendly golden retriever who’s trained to stay in the yard, and a bunny who’s free to move around the house as he wishes. I make sure everyone stays comfortable and safe, supervise outdoor time, and always follow your care instructions closely—whether your pet is with me or I’m caring for them in your home.

About: I bring a naturally calm, grounded presence into every home I enter. Pets are incredibly intuitive, and I prioritize creating a peaceful, steady environment where they feel safe and secure. Whether your dog is anxious, high-energy, or just needs consistency, I focus on maintaining a structured routine with patience and gentle guidance. My goal is for your pet to feel relaxed and comfortable, and for you to have complete peace of mind knowing they’re in stable, attentive hands. I’m currently in school and have a lot of time in between classes! I have tons of times to take care of your best friends! When pets stay in my home, their comfort and safety are my top priorities. I provide a calm, structured environment with consistent routines to help them settle in smoothly. I have a fully fenced-in yard for safe outdoor time and supervised play, and I always monitor pets while outside. If your dog is crate-trained or prefers a crate for rest, I can easily accommodate that to maintain their normal routine. My goal is to create a peaceful, secure space where your pet feels at ease while you’re away.
“Madison has been great! She communicates and my 2 pups love her! She goes above and beyond to make sure they are well. She even stayed and kept my pup company when he didn’t feel well.”

“Taylin is fantastic… very communicative and just a lovely person to work with. She was very kind to my sweet Clyde and always had great reports after his walks. I would definitely use her again and highly recommend her services.”

About: Hi, I’m Clara! Animals have been a central part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve worked with pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments—from tiny parrots to towering horses—and I’m confident handling everything in between. I have experience with: • Puppies and young dogs (training, socialization, and lots of patience!) • Caring for a dog with frequent seizures and special health needs • Working at a large dog rescue in Mexico, rehabilitating street dogs with behavioral and medical issues of all sizes • Administering oral medications and following detailed care instructions • Senior pet care with extra attention and gentleness (my dog is epileptic so I know how to administer all seizure meds and the full protocol) • Basic training and reinforcing good behavior • Horse care from years of working in barns (feeding, grooming, handling) • Volunteering for a year at a parrot rescue, learning about specialized bird care I’m active and outdoorsy, so I love taking energetic dogs for runs, hikes, or long walks—but I’m just as happy giving older or calmer pets plenty of snuggles. Safety, compassion, and keeping your pets happy are my top priorities, and I’ll always send plenty of photo updates while you’re away. I’m currently completely open and very flexible with scheduling. I’m not working another job right now, so I can adjust to your pet’s exact needs—whether that’s early mornings, late nights, or last-minute bookings. Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. In my home, pets must be friendly with other dogs, as I have my own, and everyone’s well-being is a top priority. We have a fully fenced yard for safe play and fresh air, and I love going on regular walks to keep pets happy and healthy. I’m very routine-oriented, so I’ll follow your pet’s feeding, exercise, and care schedule exactly as you request—whether in my home or yours. I make sure each animal feels secure, loved, and stress-free, with plenty of supervision, enrichment, and affection.
