In my home, pets must be friendly with other dogs, as I have my own, and everyone’s well-being is a top priority. We have a fully fenced yard for safe play and fresh air, and I love going on regular walks to keep pets happy and healthy. I’m very routine-oriented, so I’ll follow your pet’s feeding, exercise, and care schedule exactly as you request—whether in my home or yours. I make sure each animal feels secure, loved, and stress-free, with plenty of supervision, enrichment, and affection.

About: Hi! I'm Kayla I'm a 28 year old part time college student and also work part time! I've always loved animals as I have grown up with animals since I was 4. I've always loved animals and took care of my own dogs Bella and Bailey. I love them with all my heart. Ive recently moved to Rhode Island and left our family dogs behind with my father and sisters. About: I’ve had pets since I was young & have always been a big animal nut. I’ve had all kinds of animals as an adult once I was on my own, including cats, dogs, ferrets, bearded dragons, rats, hamsters, guinea pigs, fish, & bunnies! And I’ve loved them all greatly! I’m also a mom to 2 teens so I’m used to messy, fast-paced days & thinking quick on my feet. I volunteer at my town’s animal shelter & I have also been trusted to sit for friends’ pets (which included farm animals). My biggest concern for any animal is their safety & well-being (both physical & mental). I am self-employed & am lucky enough to choose my hours, so I have wide availability. I do have a child that I drive to & from school but I’m open to discussing what your needs are & how to make it all work. About: I am new to the Rover app but I’ve taken care of animals my entire life and have a wide range of availability! I just want to be able to help those who need their fur babies taken care of without the added stress of boarding them. I have experience with lots of different animals, sizes, diets and medicine administration. I only have one pet in my house and he’s a small 20lb dog named Koda. He LOVES other animals and even has some cat bffs! I am home most week nights and weekends so i have pretty open availability! I take my dog on long walks after work and we are always looking for more company! I do not have a fenced yard but I do have a very yard with a leash that is on a run with plenty of room to get the zoomies out! I have a spacious house and we welcome dogs on all furniture, so if you have a pet who prefers to cuddle up and sleep in bed, i’m your gal!

About: I’ve volunteered on and off since I was eight working with cats and dogs! I’ve always had a bond with them and I love working with them. Over covid my mom and I decided to start fostering so I was able to really get a first hand experience with having a dog live with us. All of them required different needs and TLC so I feel like I have lots of experience with working with all animals with different backgrounds. I also have a cat and a dog of my own! The last couple of pictures is Marshmallow, my high school science teacher’s pet bird that bonded with me! Now I go in every April and take care of her when he brings her in. I love all animals from walking to flying! I work part-time right now and I have availability any time Saturday and Sunday. During the week I’m available after 5:30! I get my schedule every Sunday so I can be super transparent to you about what my schedule looks like! I walk my dog 2-3 times a day. When I’m not at school I make sure to feed her at her dinner time and take her on her after dinner walks. With my cat, I make sure he’s well fed and happy and clean his litter box at least once a day. I have lots of experience with variations of personalities in cats and dogs and would treat your pet as if it was my own. To make sure your pet receives the ultimate treatment, I would want to make sure I know their needs and may ask for a list of the things he/she needs. I cant wait to look forward to meeting them!

About: I absolutely love going for walks and runs with dogs! Please see updated photos for some of my previous pet clients. Recently took care of a few hairless cats as well as a big dog! I’ve taken care of pets in many settings, including messier households! (Not a neat freak so messes do not bother me!) I trained my Doberman on Couch to 5k, running through all the trails in RI. I’ve taught my cat how to shuffle cards, play piano, and spin in a circle on command, and my mom’s old cat would always practice Pilates with us at 6 in the morning. Recently I dropped in for a friend’s 2 cats, even the shy one eventually warmed up to me! They required medication in their food so she left detailed, neatly handwritten notes on the table, which helped a lot! Known for my positive and caring energy as a music therapist (who works alongside a pet therapist!) and music teacher, and with a mom with a college degree in animal science, I have a passion for animals in general. She is now dating a farmer and we now have a baby cow named clover who I help take care of occasionally on Sundays. Generally I am available in the middle of the day most days of the week for one-off visits. My boyfriend is a biologist and also has a small dog who I walk frequently in the mornings and at midnight (she’s a night owl like us!) Available to do drop-ins at your home within 45 mins of Montville - please message me at least one week before your trip to solidify the booking! Please be kind, respectful, and professional in your requests - I do not take last minute visits but would love to help you out with your furry friend. Not a veterinarian, just an animal lover with a lot of compassion!! One of my favorite activities is running, I can always walk or run with your pet, or if you prefer us to lounge, I have lots of great pet-friendly shows on our nice TV. I love driving so I’m happy to drive to you if it’s further away - as I am regularly back and forth between Westerly, RI and Uncasville, CT. Outside of teaching in a formal studio, I’ve worked in client’s homes for therapy-related meetings as well as for music lessons - and believe it or not often times there are pets who love to sing along to the music! I usually stay home in the morning so I can easily take care of your pet between 7 am and 2 pm. I used to have an office job but found it too sedentary and draining; I discovered I thrive in outdoor and home environments. I’m excited to enter this new chapter and care for animals! I have a partially fenced yard so I would generally take pets out on a leash but it is a non-busy road and very safe - the lawn is freshly mowed and we have a playground your dog can weave around! I also have a cute little neighborhood that we can circle around that is far from the highway and if your pet loved car rides, we can always go to the park and get ice cream! Occasionally our neighbor’s dog likes to come over unsolicited but he is always very gentle and friendly! My cats are also used to my mom’s boyfriend’s rambunctious dogs coming in and out from time to time and we have plenty of doors and rooms in the house and baby gates if we ever needed to keep pets separate! We also have a spare pet bed if needed that was gifted to us - we always want to make sure your pet is comfortable sleeping at night!

About: I decided to try letting a husky pull me on roller blades 27 years ago, and a bond was created that I am convinced was the greatest thing ever. I became an aspiring writer and began researching dogs, playing with them and loving them all the same. I understood that some people just had that dog thing, but I wanted to know why. Still working on my writing, and still researching, I started roller blading around Webster lake with a rescue puppy this past year. I remembered the incredible joys that a dog would have discovering the freedom, and it's really incredible. I don't claim to be a dog whisperer, but I have learned from studying dog behaviors and personalities. Honey has been incredible this season. Some dogs would rather just sniff, and it's arguably the most incredible of dog traits. Sometimes finding the space to run can be a challenge, but even just on a walk, it's all about giving them the chance to choose when you can. I have been an educator as a substitute and a paraprofessional, and enjoyed 20 years with a number of schools and institutions. Coaching tennis, track, and rock climbing, I love giving new experiences. As director for an adventure camp or as recreation games coordinator, I was able to incorporate a team into all the fun. Relying on the service industry for work, I have developed my communication skills in many fields. 3 years working for the May Institute with adults with severe disabilities gained me a humility not found elsewhere. In the Healthcare industry I found incredible individuals who just fit their calling, and you were better for being around them. The last 2 years I have traveled the state as a licensed pest technician solving homeowner problems, and keeping people safe. I enjoyed being a source of information, and health, and was careful to appreciate coming into someone's home and life. I'm currently planning on returning to school to attain my message therapy certification and utilize my background in health. It's a good plan with modification, and I am hopeful that Amazon flexibility will help. I'm the kind of person who starts with a smile, and believes that kindness is always an option. I understand that taking care of your animals and home is a sacred thing, and I will remain transparent and available. I'm currently working for Amazon, Sunday through Wednesday, and have Thursday, Friday, and Saturday completely free for services. Additionally I can be available for any other days with proper notice, due to Amazon's flexibility with their scheduling. Our yard is fenced in, and our two rescue dogs enjoy their space very much playing and running around. Our 16 year old cat enjoys being an inside/outside cat very much, and has adapted to our precocious new additions. Our back door is opened frequently.

About: I have been a caring and compassionate animal lover for as long as i can remember. Pets have played a major role in my life since I was a child and continue to do so to this day. I currently have a 8 year old very friendly, and very sweet French Bulldog named Violet. My house is very dog friendly and I am available anytime on the weekends and during the week. I am happy to take dogs for walks/runs as needed. I am very reliable and will put your dogs safety and happiness above all else.
