“I was particularly apprehensive about choosing a dog walker for my rescue dog. Molly is high anxiety, a result of her abusive history. I’d used the same dog-walker for three years, since first adopting Molly. She was a college student whose class schedule ultimately clashed with her dog-walking schedule, leaving me to find someone new. I interviewed several candidates, ultimately choosing Kala because she clearly showed an understanding of how best to interact with anxious rescue animals. Molly took to her quickly, so I’d say that Molly chose Kala! Kala has been great! She’s kind, patient, and understanding with Molly’s quirks. Molly seems to really love her, which obviously makes it easier for me when I have to be away from her. I would highly recommend Kala, particularly for those with very sensitive animals. About: It's my mission to be your pet's newest favorite human. I've been volunteering, rescuing and fundraising for Paws Cat Shelter in Putnam CT since 2017. I'm also their mascot appearing in many downtown events. If the cats only knew the lengths I go for them! I have five cats of my own (Penny, Bentley, Boober, Mokey and Wembley) and I'm a dog mom to Frank, a mini Aussie Shepard. I've done home and pet sitting for friends and co-workers and I know the importance of finding someone reliable and trustworthy to watch my own animals. I'm comfortable with giving meds, syringe feeding, poop scooping and litterbox digging. I work full time as a Financial Systems Analyst for EG America (Cumberland Farms) but my schedule allows for flexibility. I can do drop-in visits or set up shop in your kitchen with my laptop if you don't mind sharing your WiFi. Just give me all of the detailed instructions/routines (like, go full-on OCD, I can appreciate that!) and I'll take care of the rest. I like to send text updates and pictures so you're at ease knowing your kids are happy and healthy.

About: I have worked with dog trainers so I know some training skills needed to help with certain behaviors. I can administer meds if needed. I have had farm animals so I have that experience as well. I am looking to fill my time with some amazing animals because of my love for them. I take care of everything from farm animals to cats. I can watch cat friendly dogs in my home. I have gates and a safe environment. I am more than willing to watch pets in the clients home as well to make them feel comfortable and help with routine.

About: Hi!! I’ve had experience with animals for my entire life, and I’m looking for a bit more experience to build up my portfolio for veterinary school. This would be beneficial and enjoyable and open your schedule a bit. I’m currently at my normal job 4 days a week, on top of college, volunteering , and social obligations. I have 3 days off on which I can potentially be available. Im unavailable for any pet services in my own home, but I can commute to you and care for your pet at yours. I can do bathing, cage cleaning, walking, feeding, watering, playing, and any other necessary tasks. I will not stay anywhere overnight, but I can work with your animals for a few hours during the day.

About: Lots of experience taking care of dogs. But could take care of cats too. Experience with horses as well and overnight is an option as well . “Grace is an absolute gem, AND we were lucky enough to be her very first Rover walk! We have a 1-year-old bull terrier, Romani, who is crazy, hyper, and loveable in equal measure. Grace took it all in stride like she'd been doing this for years. She was incredibly sweet with her, and Romani loved her right back. She tracked her pee breaks and poop breaks and kept her out walking the full time (maybe a little over actually!). That kind of attentiveness and communication means the world when you're trusting someone with your fur baby. If you're on the fence about booking Grace, don't be. About: I have taken care of a German Shepherd, Shih Tzus, and chihuahuas as needed for the past couple years. I work part time for a maximum of five hours a day so I am available to provide dogs with attention and care at home the rest of the time. :) I work part time for a maximum of five hours a day, when I am outside of work I spend most of time home. During the time I am at home I’m able to adjust your pets care according to your preference. I live in an apartment and have a small male chihuahua who gets along great with other dogs. I don’t have a restrictive environment and will happily allow your dog to rest on the couches and beds, and roam around the apartment. I don’t have a fenced yard but I can walk and take your dog potty on a leash.

About: I've had dogs since I was 10 and participated with their health care growing up and decided I wanted to be in the veterinary field from that point. I started pet sitting for a farm in 2017-2021. I went to school to be a veterinary assistant in 2020. I later got a job at a vet clinic in 2021 and started pet sitting for clients there on the side. I've had 4 years experience with observing animal behavior and know what to look for when a pet is feeling ill, restraint, nail trims, administering medications, injections, and treatments. I also worked for a summer at a dog boarding facility and have experience with observing play behaviors to prevent fights from breaking out in groups. I just recently quit my full-time veterinary assistant job in October 2025, due to workplace drama and still have some regular pet sitting clients from the vet clinic, but thought I'd give this a shot to widen my clientele. If you like my services, I encourage you to contact me outside of Rover! I can only take on other dog friendly dogs in my house because I have 2 myself. I'm willing to go to your house for visits if they're not dog friendly. I have an unfenced yard, so any dogs staying with me will go outside on a leash. Dogs must be crate trianed to stay at my house. My dogs stay out when I go on errands or out for the evening, but get locked up at night.

We constantly had 4-6 dogs in our home, most of which ended up staying long term. I have years of experience caring for multiple dogs and senior care as well! I love to jog and hike, so your pup will be sure to get plenty of exercise and outdoor time with me! I provide a safe, calm, and attentive environment for every pet in my care. Working from home allows plenty of supervision, potty breaks, playtime, and attention throughout the day. While I do not have a fenced yard, all outdoor time is supervised and dogs will always be kept safely leashed. I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual routine, feeding schedule, crate preferences, and any special care instructions to help them feel comfortable and secure.”
