About: I have been fostering dogs for the past 5 years. I have fostered dogs who have no health issues / disabilities to dogs who are blind, deaf, skin issues, etc. If your dog has it, I've dealt with it! I have 3 dogs of my own, a Great Pyrenees, a Dachshund mix, and a Jack Russell mix who is special needs. **My schedule is more flexible from 4pm - 10pm Mon - Friday** I have all day flexibility Saturday - Sunday.** I do have a full-time work from home job (Monday -Friday), but I do have good flexibility. Please reach out and we can chat about your needs for your pet. I find it safer to bring dogs out on leashes, even with a fenced in yard. This is in case something unexpected happens, I can have more control over the situation.

“Katie stayed ant our home with our pup Gracie last week. We have had many dog sitters over the years but this was the first trip we didn’t worry at all! Katie communicated well with us and put us at ease. You can tell how caring she is. We appreciate all that she did for Gracie. She also left our home squeaky clean as well. We look forward to having Katie stay again in the future!”

About: I’ve cared for pets of all ages, from energetic puppies to gentle seniors, and always treat them like family. I genuinely care for my neighborhood’s dogs and have provided overnight care, daily walks, and more. I always take the time to get to know owners first to build trust and understand their dog’s specific needs. With experience in basic training, giving medication, and reading animal behavior, I adapt to each pet’s unique personality. I’m reliable, patient, and excited to continue gaining experience, always happy to share updates so you feel confident your furry friend is in good hands. As a high school student, my schedule is flexible, especially on weekends when I’m usually available. I can easily incorporate long walks into my routine, providing your dog with the exercise and attention they need during the week and extra care on weekends to keep them active and happy. As summer comes along, my schedule will be even more flexible, allowing me to watch pets on any day. I care for pets at their home by creating a safe and comfortable environment. For dogs, I ensure they get regular walks, playtime, and attention. I make sure they’re fed according to their schedule and provide any necessary companionship while their owners are away. I also maintain a clean space, like washing bowls and keeping litter boxes tidy for cats. My goal is to keep pets feeling secure and loved in their own home, ensuring their routine stays consistent while you’re gone.

About: I’m already pet sit through another site (where I do have reviews) and have decided to expand my services to Rover! I grew up surrounded by all kinds of animals. From a young age, I developed a deep love and passion for pets. Whether it was dogs, cats, or even farm animals, I’ve always felt a special connection with them. Having pets around was a big part of my life, and I truly miss that companionship now that I travel full time. I have been the go-to pet sitter for family and friends since elementary school. I’ve always had a special connection with animals, even wild ones! My experience spans beyond just cats and dogs; I’ve cared for reptiles, bunnies, frogs, fish, and even farm animals. I’m also an artist and have traveled to 47 states in the US, as well as lived in Paris and the Middle East. My extensive travel has given me a unique perspective on animal care, and I’ve learned to adapt to the needs of various pets in different environments. I travel full time across the US and have been to multiple countries, which has given me the opportunity to pet sit for family and friends along the way. My nomadic lifestyle has allowed me to meet and care for a wide variety of pets, each with their own unique personalities and needs. I pride myself on being clean, respectful, and attentive to the needs of the pets we care for. I understand the importance of maintaining a tidy and safe environment for your pets, and treat every home I stay in with the utmost respect.

About: I have lived with dogs my whole life and can't imagine my life without them. I will treat your animals with as much love and compassion as my own pets. I am available any weekday after 4:00 and anytime on the weekend. My availability is greater during the summer since I work at a school. I will follow your instructions with the greatest care and I will do everything I can to make your pet feel safe and happy. Can't wait to meet your furry friends!

“Derek was very responsive and very flexible with how short-notice our request was. Was willing to learn about cat asthma and how to handle it if an attack occurred, which we greatly appreciated as that was a major concern for us. Overall very chill and got some great photos!”

About: I've had dogs throughout my adult life and regularly care for a friend's three cats, so I'm no stranger to a variety of pet personalities! While I’m currently pet-free, I’d love the opportunity to care for yours. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and always follow your instructions closely to make sure your pets feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. I exclusively house sit in your home so your pets can stay comfortable in their familiar surroundings and routines. Whether your pet enjoys long walks or prefers lounging on the couch all day, I’m happy to match their energy. I have a special place in my heart for senior pets and bring a calm, patient presence to ensure they get the gentle care they need. I’m likely the best fit for your weekend getaways, as I work a 9–5 job outside the home on weekdays. That said, if your pet is comfortable being alone during the day — or if you're located near my workplace in Willimantic — I may be able to swing by for lunch-time drop-ins. Outside of work hours, you can count on me to spend plenty of quality time at home with your pet. I understand how important it is for your pet to receive the same level of care they get from you. I take note of all the details you share — from feeding routines and approved treats to medication schedules and special instructions. My approach is simple: your pets, your home, your rules. During our initial meet-and-greet, I’ll likely ask plenty of questions to make sure I have everything I need to provide the best care possible.

“We were so lucky to find Johanna. She stayed in our home over a long weekend and took care of our dog and cat. I’m sure it wasn't her ideal way to spend a holiday weekend but she was so professional and kind. She came over for a meet and greet first and both animals took to her right away. Johanna was punctual and listened to all of our care instructions. We would recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable home/pet sitter”

“Matthew was excellent with both our own dogs and our foster dogs. We had a sick dog who had just had surgery and we had complete confidence in Matthew's care for her while we were gone. We would highly recommend Matthew!”

“Francis treated our home like her own and the communication and updates were on another level. Our dogs were instantly calmed by Francis’ presence. When we came home they seemed very happy and content. She left our house cleaner than when we left. We honestly can’t say enough about how amazing she was.”

“After having some bad luck with reliable/trustworthy petsitters in the past, I was having anxiety about my upcoming vacation and who I could trust my pets with. Eve was/is dependable, understanding, communicative and all of the other traits I was hoping to find in a sitter. She kept me in the loop and sent me pictures of my happy fur babies while I was out of the country. Eve's the best!!!”

“This is the second time we have asked Catherine to watch our dog and cat. And we would definitely ask her a third, fourth, fifth, and so on because she is wonderful caring for them! We had no worries being out of town and know that they are in good hands with Catherine. Anybody seeking Catherine's help to watch their pets will not be disappointed. Thank you so much!! - M&N”

About: I am a retired London “Bobby” Police Officer who loves animals. Since 2016 I have made the quiet corner of New England home after working and traveling throughout the world in my two former careers. Now after being here for sometime I find myself with plenty of free time and I am putting myself out there to help out. I had my first dog in 2003 when he was a 3 month old puppy handed in to a London Police Station where i was working as a Police Constable. He lived until 12 years old and i was lucky enough to travel with him to England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Falkland Islands, France, Spain and Malta where he spent his final years. Whilst in Malta i looked after various properties and Pets including Labradors, French Bulldogs and Cats. Message me if I can help out in any other way also. I work full time from around 8am and I am usually home no later than 3pm. Weekends are clear and free. My wife is willing to lend a hand on occasion. After learning the hard way with a Coonhound who likes to chase anything that moves, I am alert to the individual needs of owners and their pets. I am happy to exercise Pets on or off their leases depending on one's wishes.
