About: I have owned cats for the last 40 years. And while that makes me as old as dirt, it has also given me loads of experience when it comes to their care. In addition, working in rescue has taught me about trapping, medical issues, fostering, foster failing (it's a thing...but cat math is different than regular math so it's totally fine), giving meds, syringe feeding, etc.

About: Been taking care of dogs for 6 years now. Have had experience training two of my own dogs and taking care of them/walking them on my own. I also work alongside with my father (also named Luis ) who has been doing dog boarding for about 2 years now. We have a relatively big house and also have a park very close to my house with a big open field and fence for the dogs to run around in were I can walk your dog and play with them to keep them busy without the risk of them getting hurt. I also have many toys for your dogs to play with if you would like for me to have them get a more fun experience instead of just walking them.

About: Hello! I’ve been professionally caring for animals since I was 12 years old and got my first dog sitting gig. Over the years, my family has had every kind of pet: horses, sheep, dogs, cats, birds, iguanas even! I find great joy in showing the animals I work with lots of love and guidance. I’ve trained my own and others' horses, dogs and cats over the years and it’s just the most rewarding experience. I work part time and mostly from home which allows me to be available all day to care for pets. I’m a big fan of a consistent routine with animals rotating stimulation (exercise, play, training or enrichment) meals, rest and balancing the three. I care for pets on my property which is almost entirely fenced in. I have professional kennels in a mixed use building with a residential portion attached. So I have the luxury of providing secure and roomy kennels with the addition of our cozy home area. I can take most types of pets and I’m especially suited to care for animals that do not do well in large boarding facilities, don’t do well with other pets or just want a more personalized, quiet boarding experience. I don’t believe it is always necessary to socialize dogs with dogs and right now that’s not something I do (unless they are boarding from the same owners). I focus on routine, a bit of training and connection with humans! I have a fenced in run where dogs can be off leash for playing, enrichment etc. I designed our kennels myself and had them custom built. Each stall is separated by concrete walls to provide a private and safe space. I chose mental fencing for the top of the partition and the door. I chose this instead of the plastic, glass or solid door options because it provides optimal airflow and allows them to see out. I also have private suites separate from that area.

“Grace is an absolute gem, AND we were lucky enough to be her very first Rover walk! We have a 1-year-old bull terrier, Romani, who is crazy, hyper, and loveable in equal measure. About: I have worked with dog trainers so I know some training skills needed to help with certain behaviors. I can administer meds if needed. I have had farm animals so I have that experience as well. I am looking to fill my time with some amazing animals because of my love for them. I take care of everything from farm animals to cats. This would be beneficial and enjoyable and open your schedule a bit. I’m currently at my normal job 4 days a week, on top of college, volunteering , and social obligations. I have 3 days off on which I can potentially be available. Im unavailable for any pet services in my own home, but I can commute to you and care for your pet at yours. I can do bathing, cage cleaning, walking, feeding, watering, playing, and any other necessary tasks. I started pet sitting for a farm in 2017-2021. I went to school to be a veterinary assistant in 2020. I later got a job at a vet clinic in 2021 and started pet sitting for clients there on the side. Dogs must be crate trianed to stay at my house. My dogs stay out when I go on errands or out for the evening, but get locked up at night.

“I was particularly apprehensive about choosing a dog walker for my rescue dog. Molly is high anxiety, a result of her abusive history. I’d used the same dog-walker for three years, since first adopting Molly. She was a college student whose class schedule ultimately clashed with her dog-walking schedule, leaving me to find someone new. I interviewed several candidates, ultimately choosing Kala because she clearly showed an understanding of how best to interact with anxious rescue animals. Molly took to her quickly, so I’d say that Molly chose Kala! Kala has been great! She’s kind, patient, and understanding with Molly’s quirks. Molly seems to really love her, which obviously makes it easier for me when I have to be away from her. I would highly recommend Kala, particularly for those with very sensitive animals. I can’t say enough good things about her.”
About: I was raised on a farm basically, chickens, geese, turkey etc. I had owned a great dane previously and I regularly visit extended family with all sorts of animals including rotweillers. I also enjoy being around and gentle horseback riding. I am available for lunch/afternoon check ins. I am flexible with time to a certain extent. I enjoy interacting with people and animals as often as possible. My cat Mufasa is an ESA and I have raised all his life. He is very Intune with my emotions and muscular pain from injury
About: I have taken care of a German Shepherd, Shih Tzus, and chihuahuas as needed for the past couple years. I work part time for a maximum of five hours a day so I am available to provide dogs with attention and care at home the rest of the time. :) I work part time for a maximum of five hours a day, when I am outside of work I spend most of time home. During the time I am at home I’m able to adjust your pets care according to your preference. I live in an apartment and have a small male chihuahua who gets along great with other dogs. I don’t have a restrictive environment and will happily allow your dog to rest on the couches and beds, and roam around the apartment. I don’t have a fenced yard but I can walk and take your dog potty on a leash.
