About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. Growing up, my mother was (and still is) a doggy foster mom for our local shelter. We constantly had 4-6 dogs in our home, most of which ended up staying long term. I have years of experience caring for multiple dogs and senior care as well! I work completely from home which will allow me plenty of time to attend to your pups needs all throughout the day. I love to jog and hike, so your pup will be sure to get plenty of exercise and outdoor time with me! I provide a safe, calm, and attentive environment for every pet in my care. Working from home allows plenty of supervision, potty breaks, playtime, and attention throughout the day. While I do not have a fenced yard, all outdoor time is supervised and dogs will always be kept safely leashed. About: My children and I absolutely love dogs, especially my 8 year old son. I work in the school system so we have the whole summer off to enjoy taking care of your pets! I live seconds from a walking trail so your pup can get plenty of exercise, love, and snuggles! I am available all summer long while school is out. July 1 through the end of August. I spend a few weeks teaching summer school- on those days I am home by 1 pm. Your pet will be safely cared for in my two bedroom apartment- with lots of snuggles, nature walks, and toys. I understand different dogs have different needs and I will cater to each pup as needed.

About: A little about me: I am a Rhode Island native, (literally!) and have a Bachelors degree in International Relations and Global Politics from the American University of Rome. I also completed my Masters degree in Costa Rica! Pura Vida! I have lived in Italy, The Netherlands, Germany and Australia, but regardless of where I am, I am a dog lover! I have personally cared for elderly dogs, chaotic puppies and the 'body guard' type, and my care will allow your pet/ Bestfriend to be relaxed while vacationing. I have been dogsitting/ caring for the past 5 years now. I live on a lake, with a fenced in yard and try to for walks/ hikes once every day. My availability is somewhat flexible depending on your needs. Depending on the needs of your furry friend and your own, I am more than willing to doggysit and provide your pet with any amenities and attention needed! Cuddles are a must, or atleast a walk.. Or a nice drive! *As of July 2019, I will no longer be doing dog-boarding. Housesitting, and drop in visits are still bookable with me.* Currently working part time! Able to offer half day care and breaks! I am available overnight, and early mornings. Over the holidays and weekends my availability changes. At a clients home I always use a leash and harnesses when available to ensure safety. I take photos and request notes from owners to ensure balance from dog to overall environment.

About: Growing up on a farm, I’ve been working with animals for as long as I can remember! From hamsters to horses - I’ve cared for nearly any animal you can think of. I attended Norfolk Aggie, majoring in Animal Science. Since then, I’ve worked as a vet tech, grooming assistant, assistant trainer, and in multiple barns and kennels. About: Hello! I’ve been professionally caring for animals since I was 12 years old and got my first dog sitting gig. Over the years, my family has had every kind of pet: horses, sheep, dogs, cats, birds, iguanas even! I find great joy in showing the animals I work with lots of love and guidance. I’ve trained my own and others' horses, dogs and cats over the years and it’s just the most rewarding experience. I work part time and mostly from home which allows me to be available all day to care for pets. I’m a big fan of a consistent routine with animals rotating stimulation (exercise, play, training or enrichment) meals, rest and balancing the three. I care for pets on my property which is almost entirely fenced in. I have professional kennels in a mixed use building with a residential portion attached. So I have the luxury of providing secure and roomy kennels with the addition of our cozy home area. I can take most types of pets and I’m especially suited to care for animals that do not do well in large boarding facilities, don’t do well with other pets or just want a more personalized, quiet boarding experience. I don’t believe it is always necessary to socialize dogs with dogs and right now that’s not something I do (unless they are boarding from the same owners). I focus on routine, a bit of training and connection with humans! I have a fenced in run where dogs can be off leash for playing, enrichment etc. I designed our kennels myself and had them custom built. Each stall is separated by concrete walls to provide a private and safe space. I chose mental fencing for the top of the partition and the door. I chose this instead of the plastic, glass or solid door options because it provides optimal airflow and allows them to see out. I also have private suites separate from that area.
About: Been taking care of dogs for 6 years now. Have had experience training two of my own dogs and taking care of them/walking them on my own. I also work alongside with my father (also named Luis ) who has been doing dog boarding for about 2 years now. Me and my father are very used to the behavior of dogs and comfortable with dogs no matter the size or the breed of your dog. “I was particularly apprehensive about choosing a dog walker for my rescue dog. Molly is high anxiety, a result of her abusive history. I’d used the same dog-walker for three years, since first adopting Molly. She was a college student whose class schedule ultimately clashed with her dog-walking schedule, leaving me to find someone new. I interviewed several candidates, ultimately choosing Kala because she clearly showed an understanding of how best to interact with anxious rescue animals. Molly took to her quickly, so I’d say that Molly chose Kala! Kala has been great! She’s kind, patient, and understanding with Molly’s quirks. Molly seems to really love her, which obviously makes it easier for me when I have to be away from her. I would highly recommend Kala, particularly for those with very sensitive animals. About: I have worked with dog trainers so I know some training skills needed to help with certain behaviors. I can administer meds if needed. About: I decided to try letting a husky pull me on roller blades 27 years ago, and a bond was created that I am convinced was the greatest thing ever. I became an aspiring writer and began researching dogs, playing with them and loving them all the same. I understood that some people just had that dog thing, but I wanted to know why. Still working on my writing, and still researching, I started roller blading around Webster lake with a rescue puppy this past year. I remembered the incredible joys that a dog would have discovering the freedom, and it's really incredible. I don't claim to be a dog whisperer, but I have learned from studying dog behaviors and personalities. Honey has been incredible this season. Some dogs would rather just sniff, and it's arguably the most incredible of dog traits. Sometimes finding the space to run can be a challenge, but even just on a walk, it's all about giving them the chance to choose when you can. I have been an educator as a substitute and a paraprofessional, and enjoyed 20 years with a number of schools and institutions. Coaching tennis, track, and rock climbing, I love giving new experiences. As director for an adventure camp or as recreation games coordinator, I was able to incorporate a team into all the fun. Relying on the service industry for work, I have developed my communication skills in many fields. 3 years working for the May Institute with adults with severe disabilities gained me a humility not found elsewhere. In the Healthcare industry I found incredible individuals who just fit their calling, and you were better for being around them. The last 2 years I have traveled the state as a licensed pest technician solving homeowner problems, and keeping people safe. I enjoyed being a source of information, and health, and was careful to appreciate coming into someone's home and life. I'm currently planning on returning to school to attain my message therapy certification and utilize my background in health. It's a good plan with modification, and I am hopeful that Amazon flexibility will help. I'm the kind of person who starts with a smile, and believes that kindness is always an option. I understand that taking care of your animals and home is a sacred thing, and I will remain transparent and available. I'm currently working for Amazon, Sunday through Wednesday, and have Thursday, Friday, and Saturday completely free for services. Additionally I can be available for any other days with proper notice, due to Amazon's flexibility with their scheduling. Our yard is fenced in, and our two rescue dogs enjoy their space very much playing and running around. Our 16 year old cat enjoys being an inside/outside cat very much, and has adapted to our precocious new additions. Our back door is opened frequently.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. Growing up, my mother was (and still is) a doggy foster mom for our local shelter. We constantly had 4-6 dogs in our home, most of which ended up staying long term. I have years of experience caring for multiple dogs and senior care as well! About: My children and I absolutely love dogs, especially my 8 year old son. I work in the school system so we have the whole summer off to enjoy taking care of your pets! I live seconds from a walking trail so your pup can get plenty of exercise, love, and snuggles! I am available all summer long while school is out. July 1 through the end of August. I spend a few weeks teaching summer school- on those days I am home by 1 pm. Your pet will be safely cared for in my two bedroom apartment- with lots of snuggles, nature walks, and toys. I understand different dogs have different needs and I will cater to each pup as needed.

“Kristin exceeded our expectations with her extraordinary care for our rambunctious 1.5 year old GSP, Harvey. Each day we would get several updates with photos/videos which put these new puppy parents’ minds at ease. We were so impressed with the amount of exercise (both physical and mental) that Harvey was getting. Kristin went above and beyond teaching Harvey the fundamentals of the agility course, working on his commands and giving him homemade lick mats and treats. Harvey was genuinely sad to leave Kristin, Mark and Kaia but we know he will be back the next time we take a trip! Thank you for everything!”
