“Katherine was excellent. We were away for the weekend for a memorial service, and it was such a relief knowing our cats — and home — were in good hands. Katherine kept us updated throughout the day with messages and photos, which made it easy to relax while we were gone. The house was spotless when we got home, and both cats were clearly at ease. One especially sweet moment: our more reserved cat, who’s very affectionate with us but slow to warm up to new people, climbed into Katherine’s lap within the first hour. That’s never happened before — in nearly ten years. Katherine also went out of the way to check our basement for possible flooding during the Nor’easter, which we really appreciated. I booked based on great reviews, and now I see why. We’ll absolutely ask Katherine back.”

About: I'm a reliable, compassionate pet sitter who truly loves animals and understands how important it is to feel confident leaving your pet in someone else's care. I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages and temperaments, from energetic puppies to more relaxed or senior pets. My background as an EMT and in healthcare makes me attentive, responsible and calm in situations. I'm very detailed oriented, so ill follow your pet's routine closely- feeding schedules, walks, medications and any other special instructions. whether your pet needs playtime, long walks or just extra love and comfort while you're away, ill treat them like my own! your pet's safety, happiness and well-being are always my top priority! I work Monday through Friday 8am-5pm. I live very close to work and get to go home to walk/ feed my own dog during my lunch time. I have availability Wednesdays and Fridays during 12-1pm to drop in/ walk/ feed your pup! After 5pm I walk my dog again and have availability to also walk/ stop in/ feed yours as well. I don't work weekends and have full availability to be with your pet as needed. Starting October 2026, I'll have availability for Tuesdays, Thursdays and weekends for all services + boarding. Proof of updated vaccinations will be required as I need to protect my own pets as well! I have a fenced in yard and very friendly dog who loves to play and relax with other dogs or cats! My dog gets home cooked meals that are prepped for him to last all week. He also gets kibble mixed in! He loves daily walks/ drives and fresh water! I will make sure your dog also gets walks, food and potty breaks or drives if they love drives! My cat is very social and friendly as well, she tends to be more independent and changing her litter, feeding her fresh food and fresh water for her daily is very important. Cats can be very particular with their water, food and playtime and I will make sure to follow that for your cat.

About: I've owned and cared for animals my whole life, from cats and dogs to snakes and chinchillas. My fur babies are everything to me - I even have them forever tatted on me! My current English bulldog, Stella, is half-blind and all crazy. She is a protector and lover of my two girls, who have known and grown up with animals their whole lives. While a sweetheart, she remains separate from my boarded friends. I also enjoy volunteering at two of our local animal shelters and am raising a future veterinarian. I believe animals are the purest form of love and require nothing less in return. Whether my own or yours, you can trust that I'll care for them all the same ♥️ I'm available most days of the week and weekends. Pet care and motherhood are my full-time roles, and my daughter may often accompany me on my walks. My home has large yard and a separate family area where my boarded friends can have their own quiet, private space to hang out with me: hang on the couch, watch TV, or play outside. I have a large crate if needed and plenty of space.

She was patient through Velma's usual "I don't have to listen to you — my moms will be home soon" beginning-of-the-trip phase, and she understood that belly rubs can overcome any northern dog stubbornness. And when some plants that we'd ordered for delivery *after* we returned home arrived early, Nicole carefully unboxed them and made sure they were watered and soaking up sunshine. We'll gladly call on Nicole again for our next trips!”

About: I’ve worked under great trainers in daycare settings. I’ve worked with many different breeds and learning how to redirect bad behavior into positives. I’ve worked with boarding for older dogs and have become familiar with different medications as well as being able to administer them. I have experience with a company that did drop ins, house sittings, & dog walks. I’m currently working a full time job that ends at 5:30-6pm. I’m available to assist with the your pup on weekends or after 6pm! I’m willing to work with you to meet your needs. About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a child. I owned two Miniature Pinschers growing up and I adopted one Australian Shepherd mix that has special needs as an adult. I trained all of my dogs from the time they were puppies until they passed away as seniors. I also volunteered at the Humane Society of Westchester. I've always enjoyed being around animals since I was young and animals tend to feel the same way about me. Animals who are usually timid around strangers are comfortable around me right away and they seem to trust me right away. I feel like connecting with animals (dogs specifically) is a gift that I have. Being a sitter is a great way for me to use that gift in everyday life. I'm able to adapt to the normal routine of the pets that I'm sitting in order to make the process as smooth as possible. I don't have a lot of room in my studio apartment so I'm only able to watch either 1-2 small dogs or one medium sized dog. Large dogs are too big for my apartment. If I'm at a client's home, I'll change my schedule to meet the needs of the pet. I believe all animals are unique and all have different needs in order to thrive in the environment that they're in. I'm willing to meet those needs by building my schedule around the animals that I'm sitting.
